Jack, this is Amel Larrieux of whom you reacted to a few weeks ago. She made this one album with Groove Theory before she went solo. Sade's band also used her on at least two albums while Sade was out of the studio and in between album releases. The band is called Sweetback. It is basically SADE the band without Sade the singer. The band used guest performances by Amel, Maxwell and others. Check it out if you ever have time! Sade's band produced two albums without Sade the singer on vocals. They called themselves Sweetback.

Can you review ll cool j "father"...this song kinda parallels my life especially about the beating from his mother's boyfriend. My mama's boyfriend really made me strip got a beating at age 10 or 11 as a little girl. This is one of my songs period.
