Pardon me, but Indonesia is not a Moslem Country. We're a Democratic Country full of cultures and traditions, race and ethnicity, religions and beliefs. Islam is the most embraced religion in Indonesia, but that doesnt make it a Moslem Country. Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism are widely accepted in Indonesia. You might found some of us talking about our own country as if we're referring Indonesia as a Moslem Country/Caliphate but mainly that's not what we meant. Thats because we're embracing the fact that we have the highest Muslim population in the world, and we're proud of it. But we also proud of our diversity, because thats what makes us a country in the first place. If you really know some Indonesian who really talks about making the country into a Caliphate, then you might find yourselves in the middle of a (radical) political talks, rather than a fact. Even the majority of the Muslims here (basically almost every Muslims, other than a particular front organization and its supporters) disagree with the idea. Mostly because the idea bring more harm than good (dismantling the whole country's structure and constitution? really? there are plenty immediate problems that we need to look out on like technology development, inflation, population distribution, etc), and it doesnt have any strong foundation to it other than religious reason either. Anyway, we indeed are proud of our Muslim population, we love to support and gives Salam to other Muslims out there. But we also respect our diversity and our friends who have different religion.
