Thanks for the timely updates! It's surprising how many don't know plugging a space heater into an extension cord can cause a fire. Just checked for someone that has their heater only set to 62 degrees and never had problems but was becoming warm today. They don't realize the heater is now working much harder. Today is a good day for using passive heat like some tv sets, bake cookies etc, wash bedding, etc and use the dryer, .. Stay safe!
Hi senior in Tillamook county we are experiencing freezing rain make sure everyone checks on our aged people make sure they're warm and don't let a brother or sister fall on the way side check on your family make sure everyone is staying warm you have a very good report out today good information thank you 👍🌹
Here in Lincoln city the rain just started as a heavy rain. My hubs drove on 101 and said it was clear of ice but some of the side roads that are blocked by wind are iced. We got a homeless feral cat that lives under a green house. We gave him my heated electric socks. And give him a fancy bed with sleeping bag to snuggle up to. We have another cat who won’t come inside so she has a chair by our front door with a heating pad that never turns off unless the powe goes out. We have plenty of blankets and beer on tap;)

West Sylvan near St.V hospital, wind is fierce. Watched a 5-6’ evergreen branch blown off a tall fir and fly at least 100’. In my 50+ years in Oregon, this is the windiest winter storm I’ve seen. Dusting of snow, continued snow flurries. Intenet is out here. Stay safe all.
Love watching you guys. I live in Salem and when I woke up at 2AM there was maybe, if we're lucky, 1/4 inch of snow probably less on the ground. It pretty much covered the ground. Now, and its right after noonish as I am posting this, it's been lightly snowing. Well, hope you landowners maintained the trees on your property and made sure all Braches were away from the power lines, so they don't cause a power outage. If its going to be that cold I would like to have heat in my apartment as I have no way to leave it to go somewhere warm.

Dancing, swirling, skimming along, Like the snows of yesteryears. There's lots of ice on the windows As my lashes freeze over with tears. It's so cold; it's too cold to snow Yet the snow continues to fall. The land is covered blanket white As the winter winds wail their call.
