I gotta say, during quarantine, made me realize the elevator brands I'm not very fond of are actually pretty underrated. You have to be away from something for awhile to actually realize you appreciate it. :)
That showerhead, oye! Hope the bed was okay, at least, haha. Not a terrible place of course but looks like it could do with some fine tuning. Jacob is funny :D
Homewood Suites are almost the same as that. But they have a seperate bedroom and a FULL kitchen, dishes and a beautiful hotel. Fort Worth is the best one!
pretty nice hotel, set up like outside corridor, although bathroom was all in one room because they had to have room for a kitchen where the sink usually goes in exterior corridor because it is an extended stay hotel
This hotel looks so old. Your room has an old CRT TV, a phone that doesn't work real well, and an old alarm clock. I wonder if this hotel got remodeled since this video was made in 2012.
I didn't realize how small the rooms were at Extended Stay. I once stayed at Studio Plus (sister property) and the room was much larger at Studio Plus. I ended up not liking Studio Plus, since they had no high speed internet or wifi, and even dial up was a challenge due to only a few lines that access the public phone system. BTW...your hotel tours are so awesome...keep up the great work!!
*MUST READ* I was in one in *Northern CO Springs,* the place was TERRIBLE. The breakfast was disappointing, the entire building was dark, the hard floors were covered in mud, the service was a sort of "so-good-it's-creepy" kinda thing. No amenities at ALL (except laundry.) It was filled with druggies and robbers. Luckily I was given a suite. It was all nice and roomy, yet the problem is, it was just one room. The place was literally swiss cheese. Especially the view. It was entirely blocked by the little entrance roof. We saw NOTHING. And you thought you heard it all, well, check out the stairs. First time I went in, I got out crying. The place was terrifying. It was dark, the lights were the ones you would see under a freeway, a huge echo, it had a NASTY nostalgic odor, but why did I come out crying? The stair room was haunted. I was completely alone that day going up to the third floor for our first out of two room, that one being a regular double bed. Gradually going up I heard ghostly footsteps and creepy creaks and echoes. It was running towards me, I kept looking behind, and no-one was there. I kept going up, and I still kept hearing footsteps going up, running, towards me. I paused for a few minutes, looked, it was no-one. Then the same cycle happened. I stopped at the 2nd floor in giant fear. I'm really surprised I survived that hellhole for a year in there. Do not -- *EVER* see the one in Colorado Springs. Seriously, add it to the backrooms. The place should be abandoned.
Interesting video as usual. It would be interesting to see a video/ interview with some one that has stayed in a hotel for an extended period of time. Thanks.
So Im guessing some Extended Stay America's have exterior room entry? I know most have a hallway in the building with the room entrance in the hallway. Like the one I stayed at in Mount Laurel NJ May of 2012. And I never even used the kitchenette in the room that weekend.
"Extended Stay" is an ubiquitous brand in my neck of the woods. There are, and I kid you not, three or four within a fifty mile radius of my residence.
Well, my name is Poby the Polar Bear, I travel a lot. Sometimes by Ride share or Transportation, sometimes not. I love this hotel! Well, Mrs. Buhrman has a conference away from home, and she took me with her! While she is at a conference, I got a chance to tour the hotel in Landon Hills, Georgia, suburb of Chaseville. I would recommend Pororo and Crong this hotel. But Crong is always greedy at the vending machines, asking Pororo for money, but Loopy intervened and said: "I always have money in my wallet, ready to be spent." Tong-tong stayed there because he has a magic show at the New Haven Center for Performing Arts in Estelle. The Gerber Pressure-Assisted Toilet in the bathroom at our hotel is just like the Estelle Amtrak/TVCTA Rail Station Restrooms have! Signed, Poby the Polar Bear. P.S. I am still here in Landon Hills, I hope I return home someday...
Did you get divorced? I've never ever shared a room with another man!!!. I'm wondering about you, there is another man that has your face on his computer, have you switched sides?
