Jesus that's insane & all with a cheap DX6i!!!! Outstanding! Good to see Mode 2 as well, could never understand why anyone would wanna fly Mode 1 when it's so unnatural & nothing like a full sized flying machine!

Thats is real good movement esp with a dx6i. I did see a lil delay in the movement. But that was becuz of the dx6i. Good flying. God is Good.

@INMATECELL11 Yes, I'm using a bec. I turn the bec on to power the rx and servos (not esc) and then bind it. The when it has binded, I turn the esc on.

@thercpoop Thats not a stupid question. The reason why i can use a 6ch transmitter is because it is electric, just like any other size electric heli. The reason why some people use 7ch is because they are using a nitro machine. nitro helis need 7ch as they need to run a governor.

@JMrSimon Its fine to use regular blades. I'm using non FBL blades on my 700, and FBL blades on my 500. I think the FBL blades seem a little smoother in the air, but aren't necessary. Thanks

a helicopter this size will cost about £1500-1750 depending on what you use in the setup. the range of the controller is about 1km, though you wont be able to see it that far.
from when this video was uploaded i had been flying about 8months. I have been flying just over 2 years now.
@pocoyo2212 Thanks mate! I'm not using the turnigy, I decided to go with Zippy pack instead. The lipos I am using in this video are some cheap Chinese lipos that I use on my 500.

@sam2b77 Thanks for the advice mate! I think I am running governor mode, because I set it up using the usb lead. And I remember setting the gear ratio, i will double check. :)
@thercpoop The beastX is just a replacement for the align 3G, so I only need 6ch. The beastx is just a flybarless system, not a helicommand. I am not using the 3G on the 700.

@jerstolp I haven't changed the pots yet, they are in neutral but I might try changing with them soon.
Hi John,
the 800 is about 15cm longer than the 700, and has 800mm long blades instead of 690mm. so it is a little larger. the 800 costs about £120 more and the parts will cost a lot more than the 700. it's all down to your opinion on which one you get. I would recommend to buy from fastlad performance as they have great customer service and ship quickly.

@ArcticRc Hi mate, It should be similar to a FBL heli, I think I use 7-8degrees on the cyclic. you can try 7-8 degrees, but make sure you have dual rates setup encase its really fast. I have heard that some of the PRO's use 10degrees cyclic! I have dual rates setup for take off and landing because 7-8 degrees is quite fast.

@hutadut It is possible to run an electric helicopter with only 6ch, its nitro that needs 7ch for the engine governor. If you watch my latest videos, you will see that I now have a DX8 which is much better :)

How much do these RC choppers cost mainly?
Are you running Set RPM Mode on the Castle ESC? If not do so and configure correct gear ratio, RPM's, and gain to be about 35 and watch the power be unleashed. 100% throttle curve on fixed endpoint mode is terrible in comparison. :) Enjoy.
my thoughts are that the 800e won't be as good as the 700e for 3D due to them both having the same power system. 800e might be a little more stable, but not by much. so although it's probably a nice heli, i don't think it will be as good performance as the 700e. Thanks tom
yes it is possible to run beastx using 6ch, but I'm not sure about 3GX as I don't own a 3GX unit.
wow, very nice flying. I like the airleron tic tocs and stationary flips. tell me, how long does it take to get your skill and how long did you practicing every day ?
When this video was uploaded, I had been flying for about a year and a half. I flew as often as I could, which was almost every day as long as it wasn't raining. Phoenix RC simulator also helps a lot. Progression all depends on the way you go about it, I know people more skilled than me with less flight time and people who aren't as skilled but just enjoy casual flying. Thanks

Hi i have a mode 1 DX6i radio from Canada or U.K. It comes with throttle and rudder on the right side. How can I make mode 2? Like your showing?

Nice flying but I wouldn't use anything less than a DX7 but that's just me ;)
with microbeast x, can you use 6ch Tx? because i heard that 3gx you cant.

Sean, there isn't really a better or worse mode, just personal preference. Though mode 2 is supposed to be the easiest mode for piro tricks where the tail is spinning.

Tom what's the difference for mode 1 n mode 2? I fly my birds in mode 1.
