I have a bigger one though and have to pull the 440ci, out, I'm gonna save the trans , and it's been sitting for years, mystery oil? First before anything, can I pull the motor through the door, it's higher, you know? Or do I follow the instruction?, Please respond, and I won't to replace a 360, ci in a D350, dually, after I use the kit, in hot rod, make it what a. 503ci.? Thank you
I believe you can pull it through the door if not you’ll have to cut a whole panel through the side. It all depends how much of the vehicle you want to salvage. 512 stroker would be nice
That was fun to watch. Might be easier to sawzall the frame and slide it out for next time. I’ve done several chevy express vans that way to pull motor and trans in about an hour or so.
There are some differences. I believe the Alternators would be different as it’s a different amperage batteries on RVs. Carburetor and starter should be the same.
On your other video you said you will need to source a bb transmission. Why didn't you source the one out of the rv? I was planning on taking the 440 and trans out of my 60,000 mile 76 dodge Monaco rv. But if the trans won't work that will suck because it shifts so good.
The transmission out of your Monaco will work. You just need to change out the tail shaft for a longer one. I already have a rebuilt 727 transmission off a previous 440 I used to own. No need for the RV one.
Great question. I will go over this on my next video. The RV 440s are a lower compression engine compared to the ones in cars due to different heads and pistons. The horsepower and torque is still pretty high in my opinion. Curious to see how my car will respond.
8:38 hey. I've got some bad news for you. What? We're fucked. The god-damned trans is taller than the truck
Lmao 🤣
That was funny 😆
Bro where you at? I need updates!
Lol thank you for your interest. Will come out with an update video soon! 440 will be going back together in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!
Sir, I have a late,60s Winnebago ,

That would be too easy lol. Thanks for watching… noted.
How did you get rid of the RV after you removed the 440? Did it cost anything to have them haul it off?
I put it up for free on Facebook market place. Someone paid a tow truck to come get it off my driveway.
@@wills69charger1 awesome thanks

Lol my neighbors were all good sport about it. Didn’t have any issues.
Ah I wish that I lived somewhere I could buy the motorhome and the charger shell ( I live in Poland so it's really hard to find thing like this )
Tell him to throw their fit anyway you'll clean up your mess mind their business and you'll mind yours
@edcon4211 oddly, I just put a similar comment on another page today and thought the response was from that.
Do a 440 motor home engine take same parts as a 440 car engine? Such as a carburetor, alternator, starter?

My pleasure. Thanks for watching
I thought the RV 440s were low Horsepower compared to the Car version ?

I think I have a really similar RV like that
Beautiful car my favorite love duckof Hazzard car my favorite car
Was a lot easier to buy torch blades and cut out of front
Possibly, I’m in a corner lot so I can’t chop it up from the outside as it was going to sit for a while after.
The shit a dude won't do to get a big block.
Lol 😂 truth
