plz answer this question anyone. As law of momentum is never conserved in case of swinging pendulum but what if we provide a costant force to pendulum that it never stops completely. Is the law hence valid.
momentum cant be destroyed. it can only be a lot or little. if the object stops the momentum is 0. because there is no velocity. momentum= mass x velocity. so the mass of the object multiplied by the velocity which is 0, in this case, (because its not moving, which means it has no velocity, which means the velocity is 0), is equal to 0. Basically no velocity means no momentum.
If it slows down at all that means some momentum has been transferred - for example if the skaters in the video slow to a stop, it's because of friction, which is their momentum transferring to the particles of the ground.
Its interesting how you say the exhaust pushes a rocket forward. So what does the exhaust push off of in the vacuum of space? where there is a pressure of 10 -7 torr (at the ISS)
The exhaust is pushed out of the rocket, and Newton's 3rd law states that the exhaust pushes back on the rocket with he same force. Air/atmosphere is not required for the rocket to be pushed forward.
Let's say you have a 1 kg mass moving to the right at 20 m/s that collides with a stationary 2 kg mass and bounces off to move to the left at 10 m/s with the 2 kg mass moving to the right at 5 m/2. The time of collision is the same for both masses, but the net force is different since the impulse or change in momentum on the 2 kg mass is 10 kg*m/s and the impulse or change in momentum on the 1 kg mass is -30 kg*m/s. How does this figure or how is momentum conserved with the momentum lost by the 1 kg mass not being equal with the momentum gained by the 2 kg mass? How can the net forces be different?
Who would be applying a greater force, would it be the man because he has a greater mass or would the women apply a greater force on the man in order for him to accelerate?
Why you said momentum can't be created but momentum can be created by applying force on a bodyyy and by applying force the body will be in motion it gains some moments which will be equal to the applied force
Sہ does it mean when we are talking about conservation of momentum in the collision we actually ignore all the external forces and then there is just one perfect isolated system (universe) and all other are just imaginary?
first u say m1v1 + m2v2 = m1v1 + m2v2 so basically m1v1 + m2v2 right? then later again you say m1v1 = m2v2. when i refer to another video (WHICH WASS 100% BETTER THAN THIS ONE) he said m1u1 + m2u2 = m1v1 + m2u2 with clear definitions and steps. you have totally confused me. thank you :(
This is probably the best video available on UA-cam on this topic
fr
incredible how this video explained that topic !!! I really enjoyed it
Nice, The work which is done amid change of place is known as motion....
I wish I could be your student. Carry on like this. I am always with you.
Great video! I definitely understand the concept better now! Thank you!
was anyone else just watching the people in the background play at the beginning
I was, lol!
Now I can't concentrate 💀💀
Why do they have so low subscribers . This is soo good
what a great teacher! well explained...thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
This is such an amazing explanation!! Thank you😊
cool stuff especially when explaining momentum by the use of pool table
Thanks ma, your explanation is superb I love it
It was a really fantastic video. The elucidation of the topic was really done in a very simple manner which made me crystal clear. Thanks a lot ma'am.
Great video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!
I love it, make it easier to understand.
Glad to hear that!
What a video!👏🏿
Omg I finally understand about this topic!!
all my questions answered.. thank you !!!
Glad we could help! Thank you for watching
Amazing video thank you guys 😊
Thanks for watching!
very well explained and picturised
Thank you so much 💙

Your Welcome
@@Hi-gx1ni Thanks Enrico Pucci
You a real one
this helped me understand my homework, thanks!
Glad to hear that!
Best explanation got now I can say I know momentum
Chirag is such a stud!
Hi 😊. Please I have a question ⁉️
Ummm why was chirags mas negative and summer's mass positive??!!😅
different directions
Best video ever periodt
what happens if the object stops? Will the momentum be destroyed? Because momentum is mass in motion with velocity right?
momentum cant be destroyed. it can only be a lot or little. if the object stops the momentum is 0. because there is no velocity. momentum= mass x velocity. so the mass of the object multiplied by the velocity which is 0, in this case, (because its not moving, which means it has no velocity, which means the velocity is 0), is equal to 0.

Are these systems only in 1 dimension?
Awesome video... Plus they must have enjoyed skating

Great video. Thank you!
Omg that was really awesome❤☺️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this.
If I could like the video a million times, I totally would.
Nice

but what about your hand? isn't that which create the momentum?
In the 2nd ball, why didnt all the momentum get transferred to the blue striped ball? Why did the cue ball retain some of its momentum
Because it was hit at an angle. That’s why.
Hence; opposite load sequence, in gravity! Mechanical sine law -- u calculus, bigger then smaller--est!
Machines don't use, till BIN commanded!
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you!
Dude in the back was having second thoughts every second
Who would be applying a greater force, would it be the man because he has a greater mass or would the women apply a greater force on the man in order for him to accelerate?
Same force! Newton's 3rd Law!
Why you said momentum can't be created but momentum can be created by applying force on a bodyyy and by applying force the body will be in motion it gains some moments which will be equal to the applied force
You dont create the momentum youre transferring your momentum
shouldn't that answer be in negative
But what about heat losses when the billards balls hit each other ?
