You may want to check out the new headphones from Lenovo. They have improved a lot. They will fit more comfortably on your head and also use cloth rather than fake leather. The cloth won't make you feel hot or sweaty after long gaming sessions. Make sure to check it out.

yea if you plus the jack and the usb cable in at the same time the volume will work
If you use both, it will by default use the USB cable. Also, this depends on your Windows settings.
