Very interesting, im just starting my build and was thinking ive already blown my 5000 budget, I will be nearer 6 is but of course im in euros as I live in France so its actually not as bad as I thought 😊😊your build looks great and so does that cake! 😂😂
It would be great to see a full breakdown of the equipment used (electrics, etc.). I am about to start preparing for my own build and want to keep my costs low to make it attainable :)
Thank you so much! It feels so surreal sometimes! We’re in Morocco at the moment and I can’t believe we’ve driven to Africa! Just crazy and amazing! What a life!
I can see why people might be incredulous about it. It just looks like it would cost lots more. Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for just the van?
I was lucky that my boyfriend had a garden and a garden shed. So I was able to keep lots of tools there and work in the garden, but most of it I did on the street and kept a lot of tools in the van, which was quite nerve wracking, but his neighbour had very good CCTV, so I’d always park outside his house and that gave me a bit of peace of mind 😅
If you check out my UA-cam short I break down everything into bite size chunks. There’s a UA-cam tutorial out there for pretty much anything and that’s how I learnt ☺️
Oh really? I’ve seen that @climbingvan on Instagram are shipping their van from the UK to Canada for around £3000 so maybe the way to go is buy a van in Europe, convert it in the UK and then ship it back over 😅😅
I was wondering, since you have the bed sideways, which of course saves space, isn't the bed like... really small? Cause when I look up the width of the ford transit it comes down to 1,78m in width excluding the insulation. Since I am 1,86m myself I was wondering how long the bed actually is.
The Movano is a bit wider than the the Ford transit, so I can actually fit a small double mattress width ways. It’s maybe a little squashed in, but I don’t struggle for length at all and I’m 1,77m
@@vanvistas My mistake! for some reason I thought it was a ford transit! Thank you though, I still have a long way to go before I am even able to make myself a campervan and am still orienting on what van I should use for my size and wishes.

For Dollars the grand total is $6,210.09 USD 24

Sure, I paid £5,500 - 2014 with 100,000 miles
@@vanvistas Thank you!
How much did the van cost please 😄
Such a good build! Just wondering is there any reason that you only use 12v sockets and didn't get an inverter to use wall outlets?
Best practice to avoid inverters if you can. Like I was always told if you plan well you may find you have no need for one.
How much was the van itself?
⭐🦈
Is there any chance you could share that spreadsheet with us?
Where did you build it? id love to build on but dont know where i can keep it or the tools
