Yes. I use to have heavy bleeding due to fibroid tumors (every now and then my period would skip some months) and a a very tiny cervix hole (like a pin) as well as scarring. I was recommended a D&C, hysteroscopy and biopsy along IUD (Mirena) to help widen my cervix. I thank God I didn't need a hysterotomy.
