I used to drive these chargers when I worked for Cal Worthington Dodge. My boss used to toss me the keys to his 440 Charger and say, kid I need you to take these document's down to Orange county to the credit union and I need you bake here in two hours because then you need to go to Pasadena to deliver another car. It is a two hour round trip, he was saying, peddle to the metal without saying peddle to the metal. Best job I ever had, I was nineteen years old in 1970.
