Similarly Catholic Giuliani thought Mr. Milken’s profits obscene in the 1980s.

Ayn Rand postulated that the Sherman Antitrust Act was the first self-contradictory law ever passed by Congress.
Rush Limbaugh claimed that the main reason the Justuce Department went after Microsoft was because it wasn't making political contributions or hiring lobbyists. You must pay to play, it seems.
Why is the Federal Reserve bank not susceptible to antitrust rules? Why are major league sports exempt?

In the zero sum game of "power is all there is pyramid", there are many players constantly using any means to pull the most successful players down from the higher levels of the pyramid.

These antitrust cases always come when the market they are intervening in has already experienced peak incumbent, and is already diversifying. Apple's phone sales were just down 30%. They are already losing their market position.

I can see a nuance in MS browser case that separates it from Apple’s case. MS was providing a 3rd party browser out of the box until Explorer came along.
Apple has had the same biz model since day one. It’s monopoly because it’s the best product.

But even then its not a monopoly. Simply having the most market share is not a monopoly.
