omg thank you for the scent warning on the medicube jelly! I love (and am currently wearing) their peel off night mask, so was considering giving that a try, but now I know not to. I think I mentioned this in a comment on another video, but I love that you share if it has a heavy fragrance!
4:32 have you tried any of the other tirtir formulas? I've been eyeing their silver cushion and their crystal mesh cushion as they're glowier, especially the crystal, and seemingly better for dry skin. I've even bought a pack of sample shades to see which shade I am in the tirtir ones lol (24W or even darker lol I'm never finding a good match anywhere else), I'm that interested in them 😅. also, the shade samples come in the red formula, and even though I only had them on for a short time, I definitely felt dry by the time I got to washing them off.
I recommend the medicube mask btw, it really does give that glow in the morning and you barely even feel it on the face after it dries. I'm really in love with it lol
@@minjaarsic3327 No problem! Fragrance is a big thing for me too, so I definitely like to share if relevant. :) Ah yes I've seen the peel off mask all over social media. Glad to hear it works for you. I love a glowy look, so I'm intrigued! What does it smell like? I've tried the silver cushion, there's a more detailed response to your comment above! :)
@@avatarling ah, sorry for commenting twice about the cushions, I thought my first reply to this comment hadn't posted. I haven't noticed any scent from the medicube mask really, maybe a very very faint collagen-y smell i recognize from bone stock soup. I know that sounds kind of gross but as I said, it's incredibly faint. you're not really putting on a lot of prouct, it's supposed to be a pretty thin layer on your face, so any fragrance that might be in there isn't very noticeable. in fact, I don't even know if there's fragrance in the ingredient list, I'd have to check.
No worries! Thanks for the scent description, that sounds intriguing. I'll see if I can find it in store to swatch! From searching online it doesn't seem to have fragrance. Also Happy Holidays! Have a lovely festive period! 😊🎄✨
have you tried the tirtir formulas for drier skin like the silver, white, and crystal versions? I'm considering buying either the silver or the crystal cushion, to the point that I bought the little packs of shade samples from them. the samples were in the red formula, and I could feel how dry they were on my skin by the time I went to wash them off, so that confirmed to me that I'm definitely not getting the red or anything more matte than that lol.
I matched to 23w and 24w with my skin being the palest it can be with it being winter and me not going out much 😅😅 I fear I'm now at the mercy of the few cushion companies with actual shade ranges now. I kept the two 21 shades that came in the pack in case I ever want to play vampire :) but seriously I do have a goth style so I guess the good part is that I can just order a cushion that's too light to get that nice corpsy appearance. preferably in the opposite undertone to mine for even more greyness.
@@minjaarsic3327 I've tried the silver cushion as TIRTIR sent it to me, which definitely looked better on my dry skin than the red, but I wasn't a fan of the scent. It smells like the red cushion (like a fresh detergent), but just noticeably stronger. I don't like being able to smell my foundation on my face throughout the day, so the silver cushion isn't a favourite for me either! 😅 The shade samples are super useful! I wish more makeup companies would offer them. I'm also trying to find new favourites from cushion companies with wide shade ranges as my go-to Romand Nu Zero one unfortunately only has 5 shades - of which I am the darkest shade! Unleashia and Parnell are two companies on my radar, so I'm hoping I'll find something that I like from them. Yeah nothing like a too light foundation shade for that undead look!
@@avatarling oh noooo that's fragranced too? :(( I might still buy a mini and see if it's tolerable for me. agreed on the shade samples! now, even if I don't get any tirtir product, at least I have a reference point for other foundations. speaking of, if romand's 5 fits you, what's your tirtir shade match? asking so I have an idea of which one to consider, because I've been eyeing nu zero as well.
Yes it's got fragrance, unfortunately most cushions do! The Romand Nu Zero one has fragrance too but it's so light that I honestly don't notice it throughout the day. I use 23N Sand in the TIRTIR cushions but I think I could've gone slightly darker. Strangely, the same shade in the silver cushion is way paler than the red! In the red cushion I can pull it off, but it's not a perfect match for me. Olive tones are hard to find in a lot of shade ranges 😅.
@@avatarling I'm between 23w and 24w, leaning slightly towards the darker, so we're close in that aspect. re: the silver cushion, I've heard that it doesn't oxidize like the red one, so it may seem lighter because of that.
