Really wish this game didn't go downhill at the beginning , I really enjoyed it. bummer the game isn't getting anymore support. We were gonna get shehulk, captain marvel and a few others as playable characters, if they very do another avengers game I hope they do it justice

Basically it's the fun allowed update. Goes to show that if they hadn't decided to make it a live service with MTX, infinite grindind and looting this would have been fantastic.

@@beckyross3210 Nah you just want to shit on this game, the gameplay is pretty fun if you are smart enough to try to combo enemies, especially with spiderman combos, that shit made me like this game a lot better than when I originally saw it.
If they would’ve made this game a huge open World campaign this game would’ve been a banger. Being confined to zone’s is what SQE got it wrong! 💯
I’ve honestly gotten back into this game. It feels so much nicer playing as whatever skin you want, and do all those cool takedowns is so much nicer

The traversal update was the thing i enjoyed the most, now that all flyers are faster and runners as well. And finally, Hulk can jump higher. 😅

If they went the same route they did with the GOTG game this game would’ve been amazing, not exactly the same but having a story mode that feels like a movie and makes us care about the characters in the game and such and such

I always thought if the game was open world from the start it would’ve been sensational instead of travelling to outposts all the time. I’ve always liked the concept of open world games and the Lego superhero ones prove that they can work. If we can get an open world Batman game, I’m still waiting for an open world Iron Man game
If Midnight Suns had this combat style it would have been an absolute banger of a game
If they would've kept their promise with new DLC every month this game would've been fine

I finally finish Avengers Reassemble last night on my PS5. I was surprised that all the avengers and Ms. Marvel had a turn at MODOK. Now, I'm onto part 2; I just made it to the new SHIELD base.
The mechanics in avengers game are fun. The combat and character feel for all characters are great. The only issue is limiting content. They just went down the route of aim, and fighting aim bases, literally the same missions and locations over and over. If they made the game like a normal avengers game, they would have made it where you can explore the helicarier, explore new york, fight wars and battles as well as basic city missions, not just aim aim aim. The train was there but the tracks were not set.
Like look how more fun it is when they added new content in suits and takedowns! A simple update with so much impact. This shows the game just needs more content.
All costumes unlocked? Hmm, I'll have to re-boot it and check it out.
My dude! Thanks so much for this vid! I had no idea this hapened. I got the game when it first came out, played it for a while, but was turned off by all of those micro transactions. Now I can't wait to go back and play it with everything unlocked!
The story is the best part it’s everything after all the stories end that is boring. Having everything for free brought me back and makes it fun.
Also all heroes have been buffed to feel even stronger, so it's a big W overall.
Only regret in not having wasteland patrol to free roam around. To anyone who is skeptical.. trust me. Buy it on a sale before it gets removed forever. It's a honestly good game overall. Initial hype and delusion a side, it's a solid 7.5/10
its a huge grind i got hulk to 175 and max champion level (i forgot what it was 350?) until i accidentally deleted my save trying to cheese the game. either way my issue was the crashing and bugs
@dyke tyson Nobody asked you to grind a single character to extreme levels, you make the game more grindy by doing this, try taking turns as a few different characters you like for example do Hulk, Thor and Cap and rotate between those three instead of using Hulk constantly. You’re making it more grindy with that attitude towards it. None of you’re complaints are legit apart from the usual stuff you get in nearly all games like minor bugs and occasional crashes.

I’m so exited for this update to download, I haven’t been on this game for a long time and it takes 4 hours but I’m so exited do see all these new suits and other dtuff
I feel that if they did something like midnight suns(But with action gameplay and not cards like the game is) it would be A LOT BETTER,bcs there we actually get to like the characters,understand them and most of all,to enjoy every mission with them,in avengers it just felt like things were getting repetitive way too fast (This May happen in midnight suns eventually too,but still the Power of the story and the variation of skills for each character kind of counters that)

I was really hoping hero’s like Wanda captain marvel vision falcon and others to come to the game but I guess the game just couldn’t live long enough

It's awful. Your better picking up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 on Switch. Hell I still go back and play one of the best Marvel games ever made Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 gold edition on ps4. The story, power fantasy are awesome.

good thing i bought this last year on sale then put it on my backlog...i can experience the game at its "best form"..
Bought it today for £6 and bought it for the single player campaign happy to see they made this game fun finally. It was horrendous state wen it first realised but I'm glad to see that the devs saw this and fixed it and actually made a solid gd game at last the avengers game that should of been at release but glad it got a makeover update and it's finally worth playing
Is it applied for the standard ver as well or only for the definitive ver? I saw the definitive ver on sale right now
And they added so many different things to the combat. Like cap america steam roller now has status affect
The single player campaign is about 8 hrs and really fun and I fully recommend.

Played it for 20 hours now and as a single player game it is a solid 8/10.
I'm still hoping they revisit this style but doing it with the X-Men. Just main the main hub the X-Mansion. You can go to people's rooms like on the helicarrier, the training missions are the danger room, roster could be huge and the gameplay for each would be more diverse.
I love this game since day one even with its flaws, I’m a huge marvel fan and this is as close as it gets to the marvel characters in a sort of an open world game. Yea it has its downsides but every game does. The story was ok, wish more DLCs were offered, I actually enjoyed the new characters integration as the game was being developed. Too sad they gave up on it, would’ve been fun to later probably have some VR mode or something.

I really think they missed their chance to have Hank Pym create Ultron. plus the third part still could take place in the future but instead of having to do with some type of Hulk you would have to go up against Ultron instead.
I wish this game got much more attention and I wish they would add so many more characters (like villians and more heroes) and really fun missions with great rewards it would make it so much more fun to play and more grinding which I like
What I'd like to see is a true RPG style game for Marvel, just like the Marvel Super Heroes RPG, which would allow you to create your own character kinda like the way City of Heroes did, but have Marvels Avengers gameplay and visuals. THAT would be a dream come true for me.
The he first level is by far the best level and I absolutely loved it shame the Red of the story wasn’t as good

Just got the game and played last night with my tio for the first time, always avoided it from what I heard from others but you can’t pass up on it for 5.99. So I bought it, and played it. Just wow, this is another case of battlefront 2. The game is just amazing I’m having so much fun. Really reminds me of the classic marvel team up games in the 2000s. Is it arcade-ish? Yeah but not every game needs to be a GOW or Insomniac Spiderman. It is so fun and with everything cosmetic being included now I’m just having a blast 8/10 from me.
This reminds me of what happened to Ghost Recon Breakpoint, it was trash in the beginning, but after a few years of updates , Breakpoint is a great game
Just bought this since it was on sale on Xbox. It's on Game Pass, but the game will be delisted soon so I wanted to own it. I am certainly going to enjoy this! I do hope that the PS4/PS5-version will go on sale before the delisting, too so I can grab it specifically for the Spider-Man levels the Xbox unfortunately did not get due to an exclusivity deal.

Hey guys, so do campaign missions not save your progress if you exit? I got to the end part of the aim Ironman mission and when I came back it had reset me to the beginning.
What a surprise. Remove greed from the equation and the game becomes fun.

I guess patience does pay off, and was tempted on buying the skins but of course the loot box system and you having to use irl currency for the skins deterred me. PATIENCE PAID OFF! Time to finish this game
My only issue is that you can’t replay the Iconic Mission chains. You used to be able to but now they gone

This game is the perfect example of why NOT to entrust the development of a game to a corporate head or any one who has profits instead of customer satisfaction as their main priority.
This game could have been the GTA of the super heroes genre had they in charge stuck to the original plan of introducing each Avenger's NEMESIS. Maybe we the customer and enthusiast can resurrect this game with great posts like this one. If they had used the COMIC BOOK method of introducing each respective nemesis the profits would've soared, imagine the scientist supreme cloning the Red Skull? Oh that didn't work, well here's Loki... Oh still manage to defeat my forces, here's the Mandarin, Sub Mariner and the Leader... Their other big mistake was trying to cut cost by basically adding palette swap characters instead of the original Avengers like the Vision and Captain Marvel. They could've and should've made the costumes mean something more than just a money grab by making the suits worth buying by enhancing the heroes abilities. Last but not least, they could've either ramped up the difficulty of the enemies like in the Souls games or at least created an extreme difficulty mode. I wish I knew how to mod... 😊

Imo this game was fire. On pc I had issues(bad pc at the time) but on ps5 it was amazing. Treat it like a normal game and you can have a great time

I've been thinking about redownloading this game cause I sold it with my ps4 to get my ps5 2 years ago. even though it is closing down in September I want another chance to relive what I'd call a decent game cause it's all marvel at the end of the day and that was more than enough to make me happy. I played through the whole game and then stopped cause I felt bored with it all being repetitive, but the break since then has made me change my mind. The thing is, until this month on the 27th, it's $10 Canadian, but it's 192 gigs MINIMUM, and I'm trying to maximize the space I have starwars jedi survivor pre loaded for release.i don't even know if I can recover my old save or I will have to start over which IS equally fine with me

Just started playing the game again, leveling up a few of the new characters like Winter Soldier and the Thor girl. Lots of fun, but when I got to Power level 150 with WS, I tried to start the weekly Hive mission, which gives you exotic pieces, I couldn’t find anyone to play with....
so, in that respect, is the game dead? Are there still people doing daily missions?
you can still do the gaunlet i think for exotics

This game would have been really good had it STARTED exactly like how it did when the final update came out. With all items being free and with offline gameplay. Too bad it actually ENDED that way.
I'm looking to play this game at some point (if it goes on steam sale again haha) because I'm a superhero fan and happy to hear at least some positive thoughts. I think it'll be at the very least entertaining and that's okay 🤷♂

Honestly marvels avengers Has a pretty good combat system and this will forever be the only game where you can play as all the avengers 👍
Everything is unlocked from the get go?
The game was always fun. It had pockets of redundancy, but I mean most live service games do. They just didn't know how to continue it. I will say that the combat was really really really fun.

Yes the combat is awesome. So many different moves for different heroes. They are fast and fun. I can't belive this game actually failed. They could have made a gem out of it.

Did they fix spidermans swinging movement and animations?
If they hadnt gave HULK a SUPER CHARGE JUMP , more aerial flips, annoying interference animations while fighting bots, its not playable for ME . .
This is how the game should have been no micro transaction just free cosmetics and ways to grind to unlock them
