    My aunt did it. My mom said it was one of the most incredible things she had ever seen. She's a skinny skinny woman my nature, birthing a biggg and very long Cherokee baby, she had a completely natural/un-medicated birth, didn't scream at all, and only groaned one time when she was pulling the baby out herself, with the final push. I totally believe in hypnotherapy. I worked for a mental health counselor who did this type of therapy regularly. He once had a patient who was allergic to almost every known anesthesia who needed a hysterectomy. I used hypnobirth technique with my second child - although premature labour. Wonderful! Unmedicated, very fast and easy natural birth. I was alble to ignore all the medical staff shouting at me to 'puuush" and all I did was the very opposite: I totally relaxed my body and the child flew out of me effortlessly..no tearing, no blood losses, and I pushed the placenta out on the next contraction. After that I eas fiull of energy and natural oxytocyne. All for hypnobirthing, no doubt ❤️💞💓

      I’ve heard that the “breathing” out the baby is the best type of birthing. Like there’s purple pushing (hold your breath and push) and “breathing down” (which you did). Purple pushing is good when baby is in distress (but may also cause it) and it needs to come out quicker, but breathing down is how I hope to deliver once I have a baby (I’ve been practicing with my endometriosis cramps lmao and breathing definitely does a lot for pain)

    • @sensualnina83
      @sensualnina83 6 місяців тому +1

      @@Becks-and-books yes 100%. Birth (as long as baby isn't in distress) is natural...just like a poop...no one tells you when to push...your body knows how and when to release. Your contractions are useful in that they help get baby into position and they help push baby into the Birth canal. So there's a certain type of breathing for the first stages called "up breathing " and another kind that's called "down breathing ". They truly get baby in position and aid the natural process along with moving your body in whatever way feels right to you. Water is also so relaxing....it's nature's epidural.

      @Becks-and-books 4 місяці тому +9

      @@madisparkles did you have an epidural? It’s also about waiting until your body is essentially pushing baby out by itself. If you have an epidural and/or are lying or your back and/or immediately start pushing when you reach 10cm you’re going to have to push a lot. Imagine women who give birth on highways on the way to hospitals, they can’t hold baby back no matter how hard they try bc the body is pushing the baby out. Ofc every experience is different

Friendly reminder to moms who have to deviate from that awesome birth plan, You did amazingly, it's uncommon for things to go as planned, and having an epidural or C-section etc is not less than "natural". Any style of birth is badass! No shade to the natural mommas. They are Queens too. Just a reminder bc the guilt when we fall short here can be horrible.

      My plan was for my husband & I to give freebirth in the deep Coast Redwood Forest.
      I was studying midwifery with two teachers when I got pregnant (& had to quit soon thereafter for months of bedrest).
      My child's Birth was induced because of severe pre-eclampsia.
      That was the BEGINNING of the serious complications, intervention, & trauma of that Birth.
      I suffered a Near-Death Experience from the destruction & trauma of bringing my precious baby through the Veil.
      Did I get the orgasmic free birth I wanted?
      No.
      Did my baby live?

      Did I live?
      Yes!

    I used to be terrified of giving birth. I had my first baby at a birthing center with no pain medication in August 2022. For months I had filled my mind with positive unmedicated birth stories, and knew that I didn’t want to give birth in a hospital. I was in labor for 30 hours, and at the birthing center for 17 hours. My husband kept me fueled with snacks, water, and electrolyte drinks. It was dark, quiet, and I was so relaxed. I did listen to a hypnobirthing track for bit, but it just didn’t work for me.. It was way less painful than I anticipated. When I was in transition, I had no idea. I did use a TENS machine, which I highly, highly recommend. My husband and doula also applied back pressure and hip squeezes. I want to have my next baby at a birthing center, and I highly recommend it to all mothers. I think the fact that I was so relaxed and not tense and nervous like I would have been at a hospital helped so much.

      You could not be more wrong. Your "doctors and medical team" are specifically to blame for millions of insanely traumatic births that affect the entire lives of those involved. Humans have been giving birth naturally in the way the video showed for thousands of years, whereas the new method of medical intervention during birth is almost brand new. Being completely doped up during your pregnancy is absolutely not the optimal environment for you or your baby, nor should you promote it as such.

      Yes modern medicine has done more to complicate natural birth than to make it easier. The things they do to Speed up delivery for doctor convenience can cause problems months and year later for moms, like rectoceles from episiotomies. Modern society pushes the notion that many women can't having natural childbirth or nurse their babies because it is filled with practices that make these natural process more complicated. Biologically the vast majority of women are capable of natural birth and exclusively Breastfeeding but they chose to do things that sabotage the process. Just be honest when it's your choice and not a medical emergency.

I got to the hospital already at 5 cm and ready to get a room so i didnt have to wait in the ER forever, I got my room and my epidural and went to sleep, when i woke up it was time to meet my baby! It wasn’t easy but for all labor is and can be it was awesome

    I deeply want children. Yet the thought of giving birth, 9 months of discomfort vomiting heartburn before that and years of hormone changes after , and all of that is the perfect ideal pregnancy and delivery with no complications or worse side effects! Just that alone; makes me want to get a hysterectomy. That’s not even beginning on the fact of the resentment I know I will feel towards my husband since the male just does 2 min of pleasure, waiting and more waiting and now poof! his lineage is continued and he gets to be a lovely father, yet how do you put up with knowing you have to do , quite literally, all the labour as the woman? If anyone could help me change my perspectives on those two matters I will be forever grateful I need to change pls
    Sincerely ,
    From women who want children deeply but are dealing with these problèmes.

      I think it might be beneficial to look into some hypnobirthing information now to help give you some other points of view. I’m on my 9th pregnancy (2 ended in miscarriage) and I’ve experienced a whole variety of emotions at this point. Now I’m 40 and pregnant with my 7th baby to hold and I am at the point of gratitude more than any of the fears and anxieties. But I did have to work on healing some wounds and fears I had. I don’t know if you’re religious or spiritual, but for me my faith and the Lord stepped in to help me with that a lot. I’ve come to a place of recognizing the beauty of my own fertility and ability to conceive and give birth to children as an incredible gift. It’s been so freeing for me to be able to fully embrace this part of my femininity, instead of living in fear or pregnancy and birth (which I have also experienced in the past). Sometimes the miserable things that we go through turn out to be the most gratifying experiences. Those experiences also help us grow and develop into better versions of ourselves. I hope the best for you. My biggest advice is to pray for healing for any wounds and fears you have and just take it from there. Wish I could talk to you more about this, best of luck!

      It's different for each person, but I feel what makes it all worth it, is 1 to take it one day at a time and not anticipate the bad stuff. 2 try to look for remedies for pregnancy related unpleasant symptoms to be prepared if that would decrease your anxiety. 3 watch a lot of videos of people going through pregnancy, dealing with bad symptoms in a healthy way, it may give you a new perspective on things. Also if you watch videos of people that wanted kids really badly then finally got pregnant and now dealing with the challenges of pregnancy, that may give you insight as to how people reconciliate the struggle with the love for children. 4 if that doesn't help that much, leaning into those feelings of dread, as well as understanding where they stem from and allowing them their space may relieve you from them to allow other good feelings to co exist or slightly dominate over the bad ones. Learning about people's experiences of this or reading books about the subject may help.
      All in all though, it is a very peculiar thing how women do this. They go through discomfort and extreme pain in pregnancy and labor and postpartum, yet still love their children and are fierce to protect them. How to reconcilate the two is really a much bigger philosophical question, and it might be a little innate in women to do so, or may need some work to develop that ability.
      Believe in yourself, believe that your body is literally made to do this so there's no right or wrong way to go about it, your instinct will know what to do. Trust in that, trust in God if you're religious to ease for you even the hardest of challenges if you ask him, practice some mindfullness, work in general on your mental health and you may find things fall into place all on their own because you addressed the heart of the matter.
      As for the husband, well the more your partner is understanding and there for you, the less you'll find it in yourself to resent him as it turns out😂. Make him involved in things, someone that loves you may even wish they could take that burden off of you, which I find really helps to bare it. Communicate to him your needs, try to put things into perspective and see where he contributes to the relationship. Prioritize your choice in partner before your pregnant, make sure to chose someone who will meet your needs, and give you the appreciation you deserve, as well as working on redirecting yourself away from the resentment (but it's ok if you slip up sometimes!). Embrace that you can do something he could never, and although there are hardships in it, the connection a mother has with her child is also unlike any other. Feel empowered in this, because it is in fact a super power to be able to go through all this. When it comes to spirituality, I find muslims have so many things about pregnancy and labor, and hold women so highly, emphasizing the importance of their role, how hard it is to do all this, and really elevates them, and appreciates them on a whole other level, I'd definetly recommend looking into this if you're interested, the importance of mothers in islam.
      I wish you luck on your journey, hope this helps!

    I used a 10s machine, did not do anything. I did have a unmedicated induction, which your contractions come closer together and also peak higher than a regular birth so may be the reason why too. Also the laughing gas didn't help either. Get on some meds if you get a induction is my advice, even if it's not a epidural. Lot of women get traumatized when they go the route I did. Anyways I was writing this comment to say that my chiro said DO NOT USE a 10s machine while pregnant. If you read any 10s machine booklet you will see there is a warning for pregnant women. I saw a video on UA-cam that they just write that like any other label so why I just ignored that but my chiro (who I been seeing after giving birth, typical back pains etc) said no could be threatening for the baby.

      I have also had both and it still varies so much. I had 2 peaceful epidural births. But 1 epidural birth I felt so anxious the entire time. It turned out to be my most traumatic birth. Of my 3 naturals: 1 was so fast it was a little traumatic and crazy, 1 was fast but not crazy and overall a wonderful, empowering experience. But the absolute best was my slower natural birth. I didn’t know about hypnobirthjng at the time, but I had discovered some of those techniques through other avenues and was able to totally go into a zone during the labor that gave me such calm and focus. That birth was so incredibly beautiful and peaceful and so gratifying to know I could do that. There is definitely something to be said for the confidence a mostly natural birth can give to a woman.

      It likely releases oxytocin and endorphins and also stimulated many of the nerves in a way that is not associated with pain. I would think that it would also provide an orgasm, and orgasms are known for helping with pain and inducing labor. The body and mind are quite interesting and are truly a work of art. I would be your exception..I had no chioce but to have an unmedicated birth because they could not get a vein..at the time standard in military hospitals mandatory IV..they tried 34 times with no luck..protocol was demand to lift a vein in the foot..They decided I was so traumitzed and bruised up to forgo unless I needed intervention..I was so scared of the needles after that many attempts..so was determined to do it unmedicated and did using my own trance type going inward..I needed vacuum assist at the end because baby was stressed..and did it unmedicated..It was beautiful, and I enjoyed my birth experience..The last 2 hrs of laboring was done all alone with no staff on the floor at all in a darkened cubicle just 1 ft longer and 2 ft wider than the bed/ with only a curtain in a hall way style birthing room, with all the other births lined up going down the room, only curtains seperating us..5 woman during the time I was there..basically zero privacy but a curtain and I was not allowed to move in any postion..military at the time was flat on the back on the bed, not allowed to get up, walk around, shift positions..NOTHING..I think it would have been so much better had I been allowed to move around..The pluses .the staff knew my baby was concieved in grape by an evil soon to be ex, so they called in staff and suprised me with an all female only team for my birth experience..which they said they had never done before..It was the only time In my pregnancy I felt that I had community and woman surrounding me that cared...although abandoning me in laboring for two hours and having my mom have to hunt the hospital for two hours to get staff when I started to feel the start of transitioning was A bit cliff hangerish, almost felt I should panic but did not..vaccum was needed for baby stress..born with cord wrapped around neck twice and body once..almost did not have enough cord to birth her..not the best day of my entire life..but despite the challenges and no meds It was wonderful..and despite the emotional pain and trauma of the circumstances it was the first time in the journey I felt like I was in control, not my circumstance or my victimhood
