- How important are Topo Hubs in the mountains and hill country? Their value cannot be overstated! #bowhuntingwhitetails #publiclandhunting #bowhunter #deerhunting #outdoors #hunting
You have been extremely helpful in the learning process. The more you cover, the more I realize I don’t know what I always thought I did hunting these mountain bucks! Thank you!
Heck yea..got off work, finished a chest workout, now eating an listening to this!! Perfect evening ❤
Man these videos help soo much. I’m so much better at the visual rather than somebody trying to explain. Keep it up & good luck this season!
Im glad you decided to start doing the videos. Very useful information for hunters especially in hill country.
Thanks for the information. Great video.
Really helpful video!
I subscribed after seeing a huge buck. I seen him at 15yds before bow season when I was just sitting and learning. I keep seeing deer, but not the right guy.
Man keep these mountain lessons coming it hits right on what i am chasen
Keep this kinda content up. I kinda had a eye opener! Great stuff!
Great stuff. Keep them coming. You may make a hunter out of me after all. Like the music also.
Be careful scouting those bottoms. I was scouting a bottom once snd had a bunch of pines around me sndni felt the ground was soft bt i figured decomposed needless. I also noticed tons of them tipped out andnroot systems pulled up. Well while walking i felnright through the ground into a hollow waist deep snd never touched the bottom i got out and never went back. Since the i have hve been super careful.
Where would your set up be on the edge of purple yellow?
Awesome content that is helping me figure out my property. I hunt some very hilly land in central Ky and have been perplexed in figuring out how to hunt these steep areas. What topo program do you use? Maybe I’m looking in the wrong area, but I couldn’t find anything like this on the Usgs site,
I’m using Spartan Forge and CalTopo for most of it. OnX for dropping pins.
This only work in “mountains”?
Just moved to Ga from Ohio, last year. Hills in the area I hunt, aren’t as steep. Killed 6 deer last year, one ok buck, but having problems finding any 150-170” bucks.
Yeah you can apply this pretty much. Scale up or down depending on size of your mountains. Thermals and topo hubs are found all over.
Would love to talk to you about an area I am trying to figure out in PA right now!
What apps are used in this video?
Spartan Forge, CalTopo and OnX.
Do you have a podcast?
No Sir. I’ve been on a bunch of episodes with The Southern Outdoorsmen though
@@the_novemberwarrior1738 thank you I will check those out definitely
