Hey I made this model!!! I didn't expect to see my own model being used in a tutorial, that's so cool! Great video man, straight to the point, I like that.
I know, i just wanted to cover this in 1 minute. You can go to my channel and look there, I have much more advanced and in-depth rigging tutorials covering constraits and driver also.
@@shinxgaze5475 I would probably try to make a model of a hand and mirror it than do something similar to what he does in this video or the bone structure in an actual hand but probably watch a video on how to rig hands 😭
If you mean those little circle things you'd see in 2D animations, you could maybe make the "arm" transparent and just have the end balls be the hands. Then just connect everything like it's a normal body.
Who uses menus instead of shortcuts? Remember back in the day all tutorials where 100% shortcuts. I am always surprised when I notice that there even is a menu.

If you would have named the first leg bone something like "leg.L" you could have used "symmetrize" to automagically create leg.R

Hay can I ask how do you rig a detached hand like the among us characters the have hands just no arms so how would you rig that

What does keep offset mean?
it means the bone will stay in the same spot, instead of the head connecting to its new parent's tail
