Suki & Eve. Their Story - Chapter 7 - Oh Love

This chapter is a bit different for Suki and Eve as it comes over two months since the breakup and its aftemath in June when we last saw them together. Despite Eve saying at the time that they couldn't stay away from each other if they tried, EE have indeed managed it. The two characters have had plenty of scenes separately, but appparently, have not spent a second together in all of this time. Not even one glance across the Square or The Vic, Eve hasn't been to the Minute Mart once either. Hard to believe seeing as they were always bumping into each other last summer, but this is the way that EE have taken the storyline.
This chapter starts with them coming across each other for the first time since June, rather awkwardly and then after a bit of sparring they come together to help each other, firstly Eve helping Suki when she is unwell and then Suki helping Eve in relation to her sister's death when they were teenagers.
Given the outstanding performance by Heather Peace in the scenes about Eve's twin's death, I am also going to do an "Eve special" concentrating on that period as it's just too good to miss.
That does mean that this chapter, faithful to the earlier ones, just has Suki and Eve scenes (and ones with them and other characters), apart from Eve's monologue about her sister. Which I indulged myself with, as it's brilliant.
The chapters are now up to date. Hopefully we will get some more SukEve scenes in November. It can't be much longer... right?!

My take on the Eastenders Suki and Eve love story.
So..... I've condensed all the SukEve scenes into about 15 seconds. Some are a bit longer as I just couldn't cut certain things out and/or I like them too much. There may also be the odd scene with either Suki and Eve with other characters for context.
Chapter 1 is from their very first meeting until the Kiss Slap scene (October 2021 to June 2022). Chapter 2 Part 1 is from after the aftermath of the Kiss Slap through to the reopening of Walford East (July 2022 to September 2022).
Chapter 2 Part 2 is from Suki wandering around The Square until the Hallowe'en thwarted reunion (September 2022 to October 2022).
Chapter 3 is from Eve looking out for Suki in November through to the grapes scene (November 2022 to January 2023).
Chapter 4 is from their first scene together after the grapes rejection through to when Suki seeks Eve out despite having renewed her wedding vows (February 2023 to March 2023).
Chapter 5 is the affair era, from the aftermath of the vow renewal to them getting back together again following their falling out over how to get rid of Nish (March and April 2023).
Chapter 6 Part 1 is from Coronation celebrations to Suki in hospital after falling down the stairs (May and June 2023).
Chapter 6 Part 2 is from Suki being released from hospital to glances across The Vic in the aftermath of their breakup (June 2023).
Chapter 7 is the period around Eve's struggles about her sister Erica and in the week before, her first contact with Suki for two months (August 2023).
As always, there's still lots more to come! In the neverending story of Suki and Eve.

I love how eve is semi trying to be sarcastic it’s like a cover to hide the pain they both are in, they truly have no idea what to say to each other especially in the shop scene hence why they are being snarky with each other.
Lord knows what’s to come, but 1 thing is for sure Bal & Heather will knock is out the park as per usual
Sorry! The two are tough! The break up scene in the previous one is so tough, it’s the first where they were both really upset at the same time, so so difficult to watch. I had to watch it loads during my edit so I’ve got used to it now but I know some still can’t really watch it, even now 😭
You’re right about the sarcasm, that scene was almost going back to one of the earlier ones with the snarky comments and it’s now got their shared history added in which makes things more difficult and uncomfortable as they both want to be together and just can’t.
I am very much looking forward to the next part. They will both be amazing and I think there will be some outstanding scenes (yet again!)

Isn’t it just! It was such an emotive period and the fact that there are so many scenes with them just looking across at each other (which I hadn’t realised when watching) makes it more poignant.
I had no idea what music to use, but when I found this piece I knew it was the one!

I didn’t plan on crying at 5pm on a Monday but here we are. so beautifully done & so beautifully captured in the short clips we’ve got. thank you for getting us through the 3 month dry spell. I find myself rewatching just to have their love & passion for each other in my life. Bal & Heather are just so beautifully putting Sukeve’s slow burn and love together. thank you for capturing that. I can’t wait for them to find their way back to each other this next few weeks and to see what you do with the scenes.

You’re right, Bal and Hev have been amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it. The care they put into this, along with everyone BTS too, it’s simply breathtaking what they’ve done. I’m often in awe watching them.

Thanks so much! The scene with Eve talking to Caz strictly shouldn’t have been in as it’s not a SukEve one but I couldn’t not add it. Eve’s first long monologue too so couldn’t be missed.

Yes, I think you're right! As much as I don't like seeing either Suki or Eve upset and I can't imagine the toll that filming the scenes has on Bal or Hev, I can't wait to see it all. Please let them get some peace and be together soon!
We all know EE is a bit of tosh; but not these two who have swallowed us all up. We are all so invested in these characters and all credit to H&B, who by so doing, have captured our hearts.
They have! The pair of them have crafted two characters that we all love and who are so relatable (apart from the dramatic “tosh” as you put it 😂

Oh wow! I'm so glad I've introduced you to Suki and Eve. The "neverending story of Suki and Eve" as Bal said in an interview. Sorry I can"t help with the subtitles. The images are pretty good to watch and Suki's face portrays her emotions so well, you can see how she's feeling. Hope you keep enjoying the videos and the story!
