Thanks so much for your video! I’m joining the Nissan actuator pain club. Your tip about grinding out a corner of the mounting bracket saved me a bunch of additional time and stress. 7/32 wrenches worked fine for me.
I’m about to have to have mine done again. I’ve paid someone 2 times in the last 5 years to do it using an actuator for AutoZone and both parts went out within a year. This time going to get it from the dealer. This job is such a pain you might as well spend the extra money and get it from the dealer.
I agree about getting the OEM part. I just had to replace both this actuator and the cam plate again a few days ago…so 9 months for me. Autozone did give me the new actuator for free due to warranty, but that doesn’t help with the labor, which is the real annoyance.
11 Months later, and the part is still on "backorder". The parts guy at the local Nissan dealer said he'd had three people call looking for the actuator this week. Of course, Nissan isn't interested in providing parts for a 14-year-old truck...

I used a magnet to keep from losing bolts and wrenches.
I’m literally about to this lol. Can you drop a link or something on where you got that aftermarket grill ? I’ve been looking for one for awhile !
Why did you have to replace the blend door actuator
My heat stopped working. The Blend Door Actuator was stuck in the AC position & needed to be replaced.
Kool lady 😅
The last screws it a pain in the butt just saying
