- Sean O’Malley has made up his mind. He wants Merab Dvalishvili next.
At UFC 299, O’Malley put on one of the best performances of his career, dominating Marlon Vera to retain his UFC bantamweight title. After his big win, O’Malley immediately called for a shot at newly crowned featherweight champion Ilia Topuria.
O’Malley seems to have shifted his focus to Dvalishvili, calling for him next and teasing a “legendary” 2025 to come.

As someone whos veen a fan of Omalley since his LFA 11 performance. It feels good to see Sean doing as well as he is and starting to get the respect of other fighters.

Aljo had a close fights with Cejudo and Yan.. Merab dominated both of them easily

guarantee there is no one on merab's team that replicates O'Malley. it would be much easier to replicate merab. O'Malley and Tim as a team are insanely good at finding the weaknesses of these wrestlers or any fighter. the same thing is going to happen against merab that happened to sterling. they will find a weakness , some bad habit merab has and itll be game over.

What people don’t understand who Sean is right now if Petr or Sterling got a rematch he knock them both out. He showed he has a lot more power than we thought before with chito and those knees are life changing.

A couple of fights from now people will question how anyone could ever doubt Merab against any of these guys. His pace is INSANE and all he needs is a takedown. Which he will get. Nobody is beating him anytime soon.
Merab is terrible at keeping people on the ground tho and he’s doesn’t pose a finishing threat at all . He also gets rocked in all his fights against strikers no way near as good as Sean so he’s gonna have a hard time closing distance and Sean can snipe anyone going backwards

He’s more than likely gonna have to weather a storm and that’s risky especially when he’s taken the damage he’s taken alone from Marlon and Simon. Ik simon didn’t completely sub him but I imagine it’s not to healthy that your brain goes a whole minute of fighting for oxygen.
