The issue with that is you can’t swap live screens on Discord lmao. It’s literally just the person needing to click on which feed if they’re all in call. What it would really be like is if Doto and Deion shared a Twitch or streaming platform, Doto watches as they play and they can randomly switch the screen without revealing which is the real hand or the fake. Same screenname and all. But yeah TL;DR, probably not possible.
Not even a JUST VHS tape, a VHS tape infused with egyptian magic, which also suddenly appeared at your house in the middle of the night with friends over.
Pegasus's deck is actually pretty cracked for old-school YGO. Copycat is great for 1 for 1ing, at least, and Relinquished is for both exactly what you used it for - enemy boss denial - and for grindy advantage if you can get a stuck monster to stick for a few turns. Because then you can spend subsequent turns ramming weaker monsters you suck up into the opponent's stronger monsters, then eating the stronger monster.
If real life Toon World was half as powerfull as the original, Toons would have been BROKEN I mean, think about it, OG Toon World basically: -Makes Toons immune to battle destruction unless its against another Toon or if they're being effected by a card effect when they battle ( like Kaiba's Shadow Spell) -Allows a Toon monster to hide inside Toon World, making it immune to everything until the end of the turn, but at the cost of being unable to attack and leaving you open - Made it so every monster on your side of the field is treated as a Toon, meaning any monster gains the battle immunity and can technically attack directly There are probably other effects I'm forgetting, but TL;DR Toons would have been insane if they were half as strong as in the original manga/anime

And while I think they maybe overnerfed the first run of the toon-world creatures and cards, I also see why it happened. But so far as Pegasus deck goes, the toons weren't his most amazing cards, it was definitely the Relinquished/Restrict chain. My brother picked up his structure deck and while I usually had an out for his relinquished, if I didn't have the out then he could always net a lot of advantage off of it. Particularly the time he ate my Blue-eyes Ultimate.
@@filipvadas7602 There are definitely a bunch of anime effects that are way more powerful than their IRL counterparts like call of the haunted and card of demise but toon world is the one with the biggest discrepancy since it's 1000 life points down the drain to do literally nothing but you have to play it or you can't play the barely improved DM era monsters
@@filipvadas7602 Don't forget that the toons themselves often had a lot of extra effects, like I think Toon Mermaid went over and told Pegasus what Yugi had in his hand or something. I just remember one of the toons whispering in Pegasus' ear.
It's a great game. I got into Yu-Gi-Oh casually back in 2019 playing decks like BLS (my favorite, but man is it bricky) and Dark Magician. Just recently decided to try a more serious deck with the new Traptrix decks.
I was laughing the entire time, Doto doing Pegasus is just too damn fun and how he drew THREE Relinquished. "I drew three in a row Yugi Boy I cheated" xD This was the birthday present I never knew I wanted! Also Toons are great and I will not be told otherwise.

I love how a lot of characters in Yu-Gi-Oh's decks was just random archetypes mashed together like yugi had the royal knights, buster blader, dark magician, magnet warriors, and slifer

I think to help with balance, at least in these Character Duels you should probably get rid of duplicates and add in more variety of cards seen in the character decks for a more accurate deck. Duplicates always leads to the main reason why bricking happens.
I’ve been playing a Relinquished deck myself and with all the retrained cards it can be pretty nasty to just keep yoinking your opponent’s monsters over and over again. 😂

Modern toons are great. Original toons are and always were ass. They were at best, almost good.
