Caroline Guitar Co. Meteore Reverb Pedal Demo (CME Exclusive) | CME Gear Demo

- Опубліковано 6 жов 2024
- Philippe and Raymond Herndon stop by the shop to properly introduce the world to #CarolineGuitar Company's newest invention: The Meteore Lo-Fi Reverb. Andrew, Shelby, and Joel utilize a Collings 360 LT, a vintage 1966 Fender Jaguar, a Duesenberg Caribou, and a vintage Fender Princeton Combo to show off the Meteore in all its glory.
We think Philippe explains it best:
Imagine taking the ice bucket challenge, but you're dunking yourself in dreams! Inspired by the ultra-modern line 14 of the Paris Métro and its sleek platforms of glass, steel and tile that add all kinds of cool sonic artifacts to the space, the MÉTÉORE™ (pronounced may-tay-or) is our take on reverb.

So, I've come to the realization that I want just about every pedal this company makes.
I was working a depressing amount of overtime for almost 3 years, but I was able to achieve the “every pedal this company makes” dream. 😅
Just when you thought there weren't any more mindbogglingly fantastic 'verb pedals to check out, a wild Caroline Guitars appears, hitting like a meteor, which is super effective. Great job on the swirling demo guys.
+Max Van Westerop Yep! First new 'verb pedal I've wanted in ages and ages. Sounds amazing.
Joel doesn't even need to talk. Just let him demo every piece of equipment from now on. He's just so damn good.
nice matching guitar-headstock-hat combo from the dude playing the Jag
+gnrock1981 I like irony! :)
Absolute dumbest hipster look ever seen. Looks like a total spaz.
how very "meteore" of him
Raymond's sock would sound good through that rig.
I think Raymond stole the show.
Totes
didn't think a pedal demo could make me laugh as much as this one did. great fun and a gorgeous sounding pedal!
Heheh. Great fun. Pedal sounds ace. Raymond, don't eat your socks.
This video has made my day. Just ordered one. It's coming to the UK and I'm ridiculously excited!
I LOVE Caroline pedals. I have a Kilobyte, best delay pedal I've ever used. Now I have to buy this one :))
The guitar choice in this video is delicious.
love this video, just got my MÈTÈORE to day and it is Amazing!!!! its singing in Sweden!!!!
Love
D.
We're glad you like the pedal!!
i am in love. I was just thinking i needed a fun reverb pedal, something unique.
I scored one of these pedals yesterday and added it to my '57 Custom Champ - I love it!
Awesome pedal. Awesome demo. I will definitely be buying this!!
What a beautiful idea behind the pedal!
driven reverb sounds INSANE
sounds awesome!
This pedal is so sick! Looking forward to buy one
Let's be honest. Andrew needs to do every video
Great pedal! It would be nice to see a demo of the Caribou because it looked and sounded awesome
Great review...kudos to all!
You made me laugh, and for that alone I subscribe. Tips hat, walks away into the darkness of the internet.
Finally a belton brick reverb I might get along with
brilliant video! Raymond makes it.
I ordered one of these. Can't wait for it to show up :)
This reverb is stunning - I love mine. ... - Rick / PureSalem Guitars
I love that the Symbol for the "Havoc" button is a "Chaos Star."
PIckin up some Victorialand vibes
Oohhhhhh that jag is so nice!
Love the Reve too
amaaazing
wow!!! nice pedal, amazing demo!!
Loving the interview style. lol. 6 thumbs up. wait...never mind.
@4:32 - exactly my expression upon hearing that subtle Reverb :0
I've never questioned buying the Digitech Polara until now
I had the polara until I bought meteore and man it's obvious - meteore is the best pedal I've ever had
SUBSCRIBE & TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS TO NEVER MISS A GEAR DEMO!
Very nice
wish I was old enough to work so I could buy this mabey I should go down there and test it out if it's worth saving up money overtime
Lol! That was funny. I do need to get me one of those pedals though.
I love this pedal. I just bought one! #544
Thank you for this great review of this wonderful pedal that I must now have. It is a nice fresh of air to have a review entertain and teach at the same time! There are a ton of pedal ads/reviews on the YT. So why be boring and sit there and spout names and numbers at us?!? Or worse, just flip through all the useless settings of the pedal and say nothing at all?? That isn't even trying! So thank you for NOT taking yourself too seriously and sharing this great pedal!
Raymond is such a nice guy
Sounds like the intro of selenium forest. I'm buying one. That's it.
Awesome video and awesome pedal!
Andrew is one of the funniest people living.
This is a fact.
Raymond is a baby. It would be physically impossible for him to construct such a device.
Not so sure about it, his tiny hands would be helpful for tight soldering.
awsome pedal and a funny vid. what else do you need?
genial
You should have used the reverb on the voice overs!
3:28 so cool you got Ben Affleck playing for your show!
Do those of you who have this feel like the havoc pedal gets gimmicky or is it useful in a lot of scenarios?
Pretty gimmicky I'd say. Bought the pedal and am selling it now. Not as nice as I thought it'd be
Why do you have to hold your foot on for infinate sustain , why not just tap? Are they soft touch switches?
Please have this guy do this exact bit to more people, it is so funny. Honestly this is a funny stupid bit I love that the show is in depth about the pedal but is also goofy.
Does the havoc button work while the bypass button is on?
Yes
yummmm
Raymond runs a tight ship.
What was the guy using at 3:05 to play the guitar?
liiiiiiiiiiiiiiike iiit!!
What was that ending statement??
hello, any thought on this vs the 'Afterneath'?.
Can it do infinite reverb? Or how long does it last?
Wouldgetting this pedal be worth it if i alreAdy have an earthquaker levitation?
how much do I have to pay to get my hands on it?
Does it do full wet (apologies if the video answered that Q and I missed it)?
+pdg887 Good question. It doesn't - there's a buffered dry signal at unity always in parallel, and the level sets the volume of the effected signal. The reason we did it this way is that the drive preamp has a LOT of gain and it's easier to balance the wet and dry this way. It can very easily seem that that it is 100% wet because the wet can be set MUCH louder.
6:08 lol!
Does anybody kno what microphone is being used to record the guitar?
Hehe, the Jag looks cute and tiny compared to the others :3
It’s Raymond’s
That Jaguar is not Lake Placid Blue :O
It was at one point.
Shelby Pollard As I thought.
😍
I wish this pedal could do stereo 😐
Loving the pedal's sounds, but you really need to correct the spelling errors on the page on your site. The company name is spelt wrong for crying out loud.
+Jake Wild *Spelled
-
"Spelt" is hardy wheat grown in Europe, also known as dinkel wheat or hulled wheat.
+Joel Bauman This needs likes.
+Joel Bauman grammarist.com/spelling/spelled-spelt/
In American English, spelt primarily refers to the hardy wheat grown mostly in Europe, and the verb spell makes spelled in the past tense and as a past participle. In all other main varieties of English, spelt and spelled both work as the past tense and past participle of spell, at least where spell means to form words letter by letter or (with out) to make clear. *Outside the U.S., the two forms are interchangeable in these uses, and both are common*."
If you'd checked anything but Wikipedia, you'd see I'm not wrong. Whereas the spelling of some of the description of the item on the website was objectively wrong.
Though it has now been corrected.
+Jake Wild I can't stand spelling/grammar Nazis, but I've got to give you props, you burned them !
6:08, HAHAHAHAHA.
I know you don't believe me, person about to watch this video, but by the end they will be threatening each other with death by smothering.
hes like the jim carrey of guitar demos
i didn't know rob lowe could play guitar
Awesome pedal, and 360 dollars for me with shipping and taxes... :(
+Philip Zimmermann and i got the last one :-O
Andrew looks like Macaulay Culkin. That is all.
Didn't realize Ben Affleck had fallen that far off he needed to do guitar pedal demos....
It made me kinda uncomfortable
I think this interview/review is very childish. How rude can you be to Mr. Herndon? thats one way to showcase a guitar pedal and totally ruin its future with no sales due to this immature interview. Please stop and redo this video and talk SERIOUSLY about the capabilities of this pedal and dude, stop messing with kids. Its cruelty.
-said no one ever
you win
'-said no one ever' 😂
+winstor adams sit down please
+winstor adams Your trolling is master level! A+
Oh, come now. Gotta have a schtick. The pedal sounds great, and i thought the showcase was pretty funny.
If only it was stereo. :(
I love how they have to intercut shots with the ultra beta hipster complete with lumberjack beard, tattoos, and fender jaguar. You're a long way from Williamsburg, hipster.
Great Chicco advert, mediocre pedal demo. Bauman plays like a charm as usual, tho.
no %100 wet?
I agree with the comments that this "between two ferns" style humor is unwanted here. with quality recording techniques, I'd much rather hear the good job they did without being completely turned off by out of place abrasiveness.
I hate when the ads use babies to sell products.... yeah, I just ordered my Météore...
lmfao
noisy amp
What's more cringey: the humor attempts, or the effect of said attempts? Where's the two ferns?
No. Not funny. Sorry.
uncomfortably bad attempt at a funny demo.... cool pedal tho
