My VERY liberal aunt had to be my God Mother. She support abortion, gay marriage, basically everything that goes against what the church teaches. but Jehovah s witnesses are also conservatives and are more strict and way more deep in the study of the bible why dont you studied the bible with them?
@moisesfria1117 the Jehovah's Witnesses aren't even Trinitarian. Making them about as Christian as Ebionites or Manichaens. Which is to say not really.

This is in total violation to the bible,it breaks my heart coz you seem thirsty for the Lord!. Yet it’s very sad as you’re making a big mistake like many Catholics I was a Catholic when I was a baby and so were my daughter’s but once u read the bible for myself it told me that being baptised is something someone does when they believe in Jesus as their saviour, something you cannot know at five months old!. You talk about tradition but that’s exactly the problem, they do not even follow the bible they have three books (cannons for Catholics which they hold in higher esteem than the bible. God said the scriptures are sound and good for leaning “there is no other teachings you need “ In Jesus’s time these ppl were call pharisees and Sadducees, vipers n wolves in sheep clothing,as all they wanted to do was follow the tradition of Moses and walk around in garb that was worth hundreds of pieces of silver ,Jesus said you would let people starve just so you can wear all of this garb.which Moses never put in their minds. I’m not going to be able to make you change your mind that’s up to you!. I’m just begging you to read the bible and you will see they don’t follow anything in it,they follow their own greediness and are taking millions of ppl with them to hell!. This is the why Jesus says “not everyone saying lord lord did we not show you wonderful signs, love and cast out demons in your name will enter the kingdom of heaven ,”I will say get away from me I never knew you,you workers of lawlessness, but he that does the will of my father will enter” And “the gate is narrow n few find it,but the road to destruction is broad and spacious and many are on it”. I could go on all night n would but this is something you have to come to yourself.
I like to listen to a priest I know, he's not just a priest/preacher he's what the apostle Paul called my Spiritual Father 🙏. Old soldiers need a Spiritual Father on their 6. Praise Be Jesus Christ for our clergy! Amen ?
My dad did that at his Catholic church and the Priest told him to leave.. He was in his late 80's, a WONDERFUL man who loved, lived and helped those in need. A VERY devout Catholic for all of his life (he passed away in 2017). He left this life an agnostic because of the way the Catholic church treated him. That's why I put my trust in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Unchanging. Man (even the "Holy" Pope) is not trustworthy.
It's sarcastic, however it fits the video well. The authoritarian tyrants believe conservative Catholics are threats... Dangerous. The FBI is investigating and keeping an eye on us for our "crazy" beliefs... Finally and honestly, it's UA-cam. Of course it's a little click-baity... Is this the first title you've seen?
@@zachcostello_ I had not intended for my original post to be considered criticism. I was just surprised, I was waiting for you to start talking bad about the church but by the end it had been pro Catholic which is when I realized the danger was not the church being bad but that it was bad news for bad guys. I thought it was clever and as far as clickbait goes it is on the mild side of it qualifies at all, so I see no problem.
Find in the Bible the Church that implies the Catholic? Have you heard about the Christians in Antioch? The Catholic Fathers had established it including the compilation of the Bible. 👍💞
@Octavis-hj2fe The Catholic Church was founded by Christ Jesus, and HE built HIS church upon the rock, Peter. Kudos to Michael Knowles and his brief but fact filled commentary on conservative Catholics. Please refer to Matthew 16:13 -20, then Mark 16:14 - 18.
Much as I respect enthusiastic Protestant pastors I really couldn't bear having to listen to their emotional preaching. I'm not at all interested in emotions, I want depth and reverence and truth, which I always get in any Catholic church I attend. The Old Testament and New Testament readings are beautifully combined in the Liturgy of the Word which comes just before worship of God on our knees, as the priest invites the Holy Spirit to come upon the Communion bread and wine. Catholics believe that Our Lord Jesus is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the consecrated bread and wine. This miracle is called the " Real Presence ".
You are so right and I can attest through this. After going through some health issues, I realized the protestant faith does have much depth to it. Of course, the denomination wasn't all too blame, I was lacking myself but the Catholic church truly feels like a spiritual hospital with a wide array of tools available to us from the Rosary to the sacraments to the Intercession of the saints. This is why I am meeting with an OCIA coordinator tomorrow
@@atomicphilosophy I wish you the very best on your spiritual journey. May God and his holy Church, the whole host of Heaven, assist you every day of your life.
Our All-Mighty God came as a defenseless baby … he comes now in the Holy Spirit and in the Eucharist. He will come again in Glory and Power to judge the living and the dead. Our emotions as well are God’s gifts, but in our fallen state are easily distorted. Anger is to hate Satan and his works, which can seduce us away from God. God’s command - even plea, since our freedom to turn away is respected - is that we love Gid with all our heart, mind and strength, and love our neighbor as yourself. God’s coming as a baby, becoming human, was true and also a sign. Babies require our love … but see what we have done to twist God’s gifts ..
You are revering man made traditions and the RC church is filled with heresies. Paying money for your sins to be forgiven( why did Jesus die on the cross, if you can bribe your way into Heaven??), calling a priest father, when the Bible in Mat 23:9 forbids it...
@@PunkDogCreationsfunny you claim the only true Church teaches heresy when your whole religion is a heresy. You are spouting falsehoods about the Church Christ established, bearing false witness is a mortal sin. You will not find one teaching of the Church that claims you can pay for the forgiveness of sins, and you base Jesus's teaching in Matthew 23:9 on a false interpretation. Was Paul going against Jesus's teaching when he called himself father? There is no salvation outside the Church, meaning all who profess a false faith(protestantism) and reject the truth are damned.
Protestant here. I don’t subscribe to all the baraggery about the Catholic Church vs other denominations, but I defenitely support your fight for the Truth! Keep up the good fight, my Catholic brothers and sisters!
Thanks for the comment. Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic Church? I can recommend some books which really helped me to understand the faith and clear up many misconceptions.
I’m Catholic, studied in catholic school And what I am today is becAuse of my faith,. tradition, the values instilled on us in our catholic family . I’m happy and content. Thank you Lord Jesus for all the blessing you have given me especially during and after pandemic.
My Catholicism keeps me grounded. I go to the Novus Ordo Masses since I grew up going to them. I am now 65. I get so much out of them and I attend every Sunday. The Sacrament of the Eucharist is my favorite Sacrament and I just cannot wait to receive Holy Communion and be at one with Jesus Christ. ☺🙏💖✝️⛪
If people only knew the value of the Mass, Rosary, Eucharist & Divine Chaplet, & Confession. Say a rosary, it's a powerful prayer. If you can say 2,3, especially 4 rosaries in one day. life changing.
God forbids repetitious prayer. Prayer must be heartfelt and individual not repetitive and programmed. And when we pray we must only pray to God through Jesus as Jesus is the ONLY way to God as Jesus himself told his disciples. Why are you asking others to intercede on your behalf to God? Why are you disobeying God and following the teachings of man? The Eucharist should only be performed on the anniversary of the last supper not many times a day making it idolatry and useless as a sacrament. Confession is between you and GOD as only GOD can forgive sins. NO man can forgive your sins. Remember what Jesus told priests etc on judgement day when they said we prayed in your name, we did good works in your name, we healed in your name and Jesus responded by saying I know you not. It is not what you do but how you do it my friend. You can pray 100 times a day to Mary and the saints etc using repetitive and useless words yet they can have less effect than 1 genuine and heartfelt prayer directly to God on your knees. Again, I ask you why you pray to anyone but GOD which is what God commanded of us? And please do not say the Church says. God commanded us to worship him and him alone. Praying to anyone to intercede on your behalf implies God will not grant you forgiveness if you pray to him alone seeking forgiveness. That is heresy. There is a difference between praying for someone else in our prayers to God and praying to Mary, Saints etc to pray for us. That is heresy. We can pray to God and ask him to bless someone else but never can we pray to anyone apart from Jesus asking they intercede on our behalf. Jesus is the ONLY intercessor on our behalf as he is our Messiah appointed by God. Mary was not appointed by God, the Saints were not appointed by God. They were all appointed by man. Shame on you for listening and obeying men where they differ from God/Jesus.
@@saintsone7877 Ofcourse, any prayer, even said once, while not coming from mind, soul and heart is useless. The Rosary too must be prayed understanding each sentence uttered, even if repetitive million times. The Angels in heaven worship God with whole knowledge of what they worship without ceasing even a moment. That is all repetitive worship but with full, whole understanding. If not Almighty can keep recorders, instead of Angels. You understand? You better understand..
@@janed811 Do you know St Padre Pio said even 30 Rosaries everyday, even while in Confessionals. Praying Rosaries without knowing what is said or just uttering as parrot does not help, it must be said with complete knowledge of saying of the sentences, or while meditating the mysteries of the Rosary, but never wandering about worldly things.
Heard a liberal catholic in San Francisco state " the Catholic Church needs to be more like the Episcopal church". The Catholic Church is facing problems today but the Episcopal church is dying off.
We are going to see a shift in where there will be more Ordinariates where we will see mainline Protestant churches that will want to come back into the fold with the Latin Rite. Anglicans already have and you'll see it for congregants of other communions that have had enough. People laugh now or write it off but it's coming as those denominations see how far their doctrine will stray and what their leadership will tolerate.
Why are these people even in the Catholic Church is something a mystery to me. The only thing I can come up with is it's a tradition and they are too lazy to simply start showing up at an Episcopalian church, or they have an attachment to something in the Catholic Church or the real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist or Apostolic Succession or some other unique feature of the Roman Catholic Church, but they want some "innovations" like women clergy, gay marriage, abortion or who knows what. Problem is if you pick and choose you don't get the whole Body of Christ, you get the plethora of schismatic Protestant sects we see today.
Carholicism is conservative by definition. But the obsession with Latin, veiling, etc etc is in danger of overtaking the focus of our faith. The pettiness, the squabbles, the antipope schismatic rhetoric. It’s weaponised ‘faith’, and it’s deeply harmful and divisive.
Them ? She joined Us... Finally she understood that it is the Real Church of Jesus... the same goes for Jordan Peterson's wife and even though he doesn't say it, a Catholic awakening is maturing in him as well.
I am a Novus Ordo Roman Catholic and I agree with this. If people are seeking out the Traditional Latin Mass or Orthodox, that is great. We need more people worshipping Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior.
I go to Latin mass. I do miss being able to understand the liturgy. I have bought a missal and will begin studying it when I have resolved a situation I have in other areas of my life that is taking my time Pray the _Angelus_ every day at 6am, 12pm and 6pm sharpish. Was into some dark stuff like the occult and it helps. Also the rosary in English I try and usually do at least one full rosary per day. In English. Mass every Sunday, did my general confession this Sunday. Haven't received the Eucharist yet. Got to discuss options with the senior priest, I have a severe wheat intolerance. Even "gluten free" products make me sick for a week. But I think the _N.O._ summarising, condensing and toning down the languages of all the exorcisms and removing the _Prayer to Saint Michael_ seems uh, optimistic at best? I might have gone to the 1962 rite in English if that was a thing. I would also go to _novus ordo_ if we didn't have wonderful FSSP priests in my diocese. I think _versus populum_ mass feels less properly reverential than _ad orientum._ What I would have considered optimal would have been if my Catholic High School and Elementary schools catechised me and taught me enough Latin to understand the liturgy, and I never had to sit through a guitar mass 😂 Then perhaps I wouldn't have for 35 years seen the Catholic Church as lacking soul and truth. It never was. It was just conveyed a little sloppily and perhaps softened a little to much I think by good well meaning people swept up just a little too much by the spirit of the times and the _avant garde,_ to someone that was too smart for their own good (me 😅).
Worshipping Jesus in truth and spirit. That is only found in Orthodox Latin Mass and if Novus Ordo, with Ad-Orientem, ( with Priest and congregation facing Jesus in the Tabernacle, Eucharist on tongue and kneeling with altar boys holding paten under the recipient's chin), else Novus Ordo is mockery of Jesus, with too many pieces of Jesus flesh blood soul and divinity on the ground and trampled and desecrated. What punishment will they get at death?
@@loreman7267 Can you guarantee, that Eucharist minute particles are not fallen from your hand and trampled by yourself and others. Who will bear the consequences of this desecration? Know that even minute powder is also blood, body, soul and divinity of our Lord as a whole, as per Canon Law and Catholic Catechism.
You mean the same church that killed off the christians that did not submit to the churches interpretation of scripture? You mean the church that incorporated pagan holidays and disguised them as christian? You mean the church that backed the crusades? You mean the church that is known for having pedo priests? You mean the church that lies about saying praying to saints is in scripture but clearly is not? Yeahh……no 💀
Hello fellow Christians. If you can, please visit your local Eastern Orthodox church. You may like Catholicism and see beauty in it, but the beauty of Orthodox churches are far more ancient and more mystical. I pray for you all, have a great day ☦
You know that eastern orthodox is a schismatic church that departed from universal catholicism 1000 years a go? Did hou know there is Eastern catholic Orthodox too?
Orthodox faith is the closest to Catholicism. However, Catholicism is the True Church created by Jesus Himself ✝️ Maybe you can learn more about it & discover for yourself. God Bless 👼
@@Coolcatsbricks And Orthodoxy is also created by Christ as we were 1 church. Maybe you should look into why your church left. (addition to creed, innovations of papacy) Learn about the errors of it. We have a reverent liturgy and hold onto it. Even the most "traditional" mass in Catholicism is the TLM, and that's from the 1400s. The Divine Liturgy we have is from the early 8th century. I hope you read what I say with a grain of salt and look into our teachings and come to the truth. God bless
I will say this (1:20) - There is not, nor has there ever been, a canonical ban on girls as altar servers. The gender of an altar server has never been specified in canon law. People confuse them with Acolytes, which is a totally separate thing. Having only boys as altar servers was a pastoral decision at the Bishops' level, which they were free to change at their discretion. Now, there is (and always has been) a ban on women serving as Lectors. According to canon law, women cannot be Lectors, since Lector is considered an Ordinary office and women may not serve in an Ordinary office. Recent Popes have allowed Bishops, again at their discretion, to allow women to serve as Lectors through temporary appointments. So, when a man is a Lector, he is always a Lector. When a woman is a Lector, she is only a Lector for that Mass and surrenders that title at the conclusion of the Mass. Just food for thought.
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed." Galatians 1:8🙏🏻
2 Peter 2:4 Peter tells believers that he is not the only rock but we are all stones that make up the church in which Jesus is the chief corner stone. 1 Corinthians 3:21-22 Paul says: Glory not in men, neither Paul or Cephas (Peter) or Apolo. My friend, Jesus never appointed Peter or anyone else as a pope and his Kingdom is not of this world.
I went to my first mass last Sunday and will be going every Sunday moving forward. I not only admired the tradition but the level of respect shown to God was unlike I have ever seen in any other denomination that I have been to.
I am traditional but I’m not a rad trad who seems to cut off all heavenly interventions at Fatima. While Rome went way off course, there is no need to go back in time but simply to carry forward the tradition. The thing is that the Catholic has never been static or ossified it always *changed* in the sense that it becomes more of itself. The crucifix wasn’t depicted until ~400 ad, new dogmas, new saints with personal revelations that revive and add perspective of the public revelation and new devotions added. The Tridentine rite also took centuries to establish itself. The difference is that until the 20th century the “changes” always solidified, defined, expanded upon or focused on something that was already rooted in gospel and the earliest theology. the church could go on for thousands years and never stop becoming more of itself as Christ and the mysteries of his life are infinite. I feel so lucky to be Catholic, I have very little interest in secular things because it can’t hold a candle to the richness of Catholicism which is only that way because it is the Church Christ himself established to be his bride and continue his ministry on earth.
There is nothing wrong with critical thinking, but when you do.. most of the time you will leave empty handed. Scholars and what not have tried that with Christianity and they all converted. People trying to overcome their own mind and thoughts.. and there they will find the devil, waiting for them. That’s why humanity is absolutely confused right now… with all the evidents you need.
Nope it’s not happening in all denominations and the Catholic Church is not a denomination…… critical thinking and feminism isn’t bad , just modern feminism and modern critical theory
At 60, I returned to a Catholic Church. I returned "Home". While my Faith has always been strong, I did not consider myself a "Churchgoer". Seeing evil grow around me daily - observing Satan no longer bothering to hide his agenda, that we are not in a political battle of Right vs Left but a Spiritual Battle of Good vs Evil - seeing all of this made me understand the importance of going to Church and I came back to Catholicism because of their traditions. Best decision I ever made
Instead of spending money on DV, the Govt must do a study on the practicing Catholic families vs others with no God, Holy Bible or prayers. DO THE STUDY. Drugs, alcohol, violent games will never bring peace, love or respect.
It's so bleedingly obvious I can't believe anyone just doesn't see it as self evident. You could make the argument the 2.5% of genuine non heterosexuals could be maybe worse off, but you'd be wrong.
This is a very encouraging video. The Catholic Church has an inbuilt self correcting mechanism. The gates of Hades will never prevail. Our Lord will be with her till the end of the age.
You hypocrite who are you to judge? Remember what Jesus Christ said about those who cast judgments. How you judge others is how you will be judged hypocrite,
I was born and raised Catholic. I drifted away from attending on a regular basis and making the sacraments a part of my daily life and most importantly missing the Eucharist. The last few years have really changed my tune on things and see just how necessary the church is. Our society is absolutely broken without God at the center.
I played a folk mass for a year. I couldn't get into it. I got fired. It was the most uninspired garbage ever. The sacred music and architecture of the mass as well as the buildings themselves were truly inspired.
I really love your talks, and your channel. I found you through my continued interest in Catholic Teachings and have always grown up in a pretty strong Catholic family, but sometimes in this world today, there can be such evil and craziness that it's good to step back and remember that God is in control and that His plans for us are good. Listening to your talks and watching your videos fills me with huge inspiration to be stronger in the Faith and to not be afraid to stand up for it. God Bless you for all you do.
It really didn't. If you read the Vatican II documents, they just asked for the readings to be translated. Most any latin mass you go to today is a Vatican II mass
I'm a Presbyterian, because of the title of this video I assumed this was a polemical protestant thing and was about to say "come on' now nothing he said was dangerous". Not just RC's but Christian Churches in general need to stop shying away from traditional liturgical forms and practice. It's what the people we actually want (the sincere) in our churches want.
Avoiding Babylon has a nice discussion on this article. I will say though I attend Novus ordo mass and all I’ve heard for the past few years is preaching Catholic teachings, sanctity of life, attending mass, participating in the sacraments etc.
If you read Justin Martyr's description of mass, novus ordo is closer to his description than TLM. And i say this as someone who thinks TLM is a valid form of worship but it was a product of Trent, not the historical mass.
Jesus is the Head of the Catholic Church which He build through His Apostle Peter only not even to His 11Apostles BUT ONLY ONE CHURCH and the popes are the successors right from His Apostle Peter. So as Catholics stand firm with CHRIST He is with us in the HOLY EUCHARIST waiting for all of us sinners to repent and to receving HIM with our humble hearts in the form of bread and wine. Do not doubt that our Lotd Jesus Christ say in John 6:51 - "I am the living bread which came down from heaven, if any one eats of this bread he will live forever and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world IS MY FLESH". John 6:42 - the jews said "is not this Jesus, the Son of Jeseph, whose father and mother we know?". How does He now say, "I have come down from heaven", 43) Jesus answered them, "do not murmur among yourselves. 44) "no one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day". John 10:9-10-11 - Jesus say "I am the door, if any one enters by Me, he wi be savex and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and ki and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep". John 10:25-26 - Jesus say "I told you and you do not believe. THE WORKS that I do in My Father's name they bear witness to Me; BUT YOU DO NOT BELIEVE BECAUSE YOU DO NOT BELONG TO MY SHEEP". John 12:48-49-50 - Jesus warned us "he who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; the Father who sent Me has Himself given Me commandment what to say and what to speak. And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say therfore, I say as the Father has bidden Me".
What is happening is that the true Catholic spirit is arousing in the souls of those who wish to be truly Catholic. However, the return to Tradition and the true Catholic Faith won't be actualized until that most wicked Second Vatican Council, along with its most rotten fruit, the illegitimately promulgated counterfeit novus ordo "rite", are finally condemned and thrown back to hell from whence they came.
The NO rite is valid and Our Lord is still present in the holly Eucharist there. It is not the latin mass, no is not. But it has the most important not fir long. If a NO gives communion on the hand and the priest doesn't believe in the presence of our Lord in the holly Eucharist or blesses same sex or unmsrried couples etc that's not NO that's an invalid woke mass.
He touches on something Jordan Peterson said: "It's the old stories resided for tens of thousands of years before people wrote them down six or 7,000 years ago, and they have worked their way through history to be the most successful model for civilization to base itself on. Then there is a darwinian proposition that says this is the most relevant philosophy on Earth..." To paraphrase.
You scared me there for a minute, Michael. I said, "What? Michael Knowles is condemning the Catholic Church?? Okay, I'm done with him." And then I listened, thank goodness. 🙏❤

Deifying a woman not part of the trinity. Good work friends. Praying to a human woman. The Bible doesn’t call for this and yet here we are. Worshipping the matriarchy. Catholics can’t call themselves Christian’s when they pray to dead men and women and ask men for forgiveness instead of going directly to god ourselves like Jesus said. Ridiculous

I grew up an NO Catholic and I have been a practicing traditional for 4 years. The Mass off the Ages is the most beautiful thing next to Heaven. I have been brought to tears at the TLM. I have a seen an uptick in more families, younger people, divorced people like me and converts from other religions. More people are attending TLM because they are not satisfied with the water downed version of Catholicism in the NO Mass.
Suggestion - put the link of the source articles or podcasts. While an excerpt like yours can be quick and to-the-point if the source is long. However, there may be a situation when perhaps the entire podcast may cover more ground. Or it may help spreading / evangelisation if someone (protestant, atheist) will not listen to a Catholic podcast. BUT if they see, e.g. Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, Candace Owens, they may click on it, and hear the message in that way.
I remember Vatican II really well. And I remember the aftermath just as well. I grew up thinking, being taught, more of the 'Spirit of Vatican II' and not Vatican II. Then I made the mistake of actually reading the Documents of Vatican II and found out I was conned. It didn't say what so many told me it did. There's a book entitled "Recovery of the Sacred" by James Hitchcock. " Instead of seeking a deeper understanding of the great traditions of the Church through the ages, liturgists have sought "relevance" by means of continued adaptation to contemporary culture." I saw and read that AP article and saw it as just another attack on Christianity in general (like the docufiction about dangerous Christian Nationalists) and the Catholic Church in particular.

On March 30th Tammy Peterson, my nephews daughter and I became Catholic. Beauty. Reverence. Respect. Tradition. What wonderful place.
This is in total violation to the bible,it breaks my heart coz you seem thirsty for the Lord!.
Yet it’s very sad as you’re making a big mistake like many Catholics
I was a Catholic when I was a baby and so were my daughter’s but once u read the bible for myself it told me that being baptised is something someone does when they believe in Jesus as their saviour, something you cannot know at five months old!.
You talk about tradition but that’s exactly the problem, they do not even follow the bible they have three books (cannons for Catholics which they hold in higher esteem than the bible.
God said the scriptures are sound and good for leaning “there is no other teachings you need “
In Jesus’s time these ppl were call pharisees and Sadducees, vipers n wolves in sheep clothing,as all they wanted to do was follow the tradition of Moses and walk around in garb that was worth hundreds of pieces of silver ,Jesus said you would let people starve just so you can wear all of this garb.which Moses never put in their minds.
I’m not going to be able to make you change your mind that’s up to you!.
I’m just begging you to read the bible and you will see they don’t follow anything in it,they follow their own greediness and are taking millions of ppl with them to hell!.
This is the why Jesus says “not everyone saying lord lord did we not show you wonderful signs, love and cast out demons in your name will enter the kingdom of heaven ,”I will say get away from me I never knew you,you workers of lawlessness, but he that does the will of my father will enter”
And “the gate is narrow n few find it,but the road to destruction is broad and spacious and many are on it”.
I could go on all night n would but this is something you have to come to yourself.
Took down my comment??

My dad did that at his Catholic church and the Priest told him to leave.. He was in his late 80's, a WONDERFUL man who loved, lived and helped those in need. A VERY devout Catholic for all of his life (he passed away in 2017).
He left this life an agnostic because of the way the Catholic church treated him. That's why I put my trust in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Unchanging. Man (even the "Holy" Pope) is not trustworthy.

John 6:53 and 1st Corinthians 11:27

If people only knew the value of the Mass, Rosary, Eucharist & Divine Chaplet, & Confession. Say a rosary, it's a powerful prayer. If you can say 2,3, especially 4 rosaries in one day. life changing.
It is awesome, surely Jesus and Mary will make a dwelling at that place.
Yes! Gabi After Hours podcast is recommending 4 rosaries every day!

I have bought a missal and will begin studying it when I have resolved a situation I have in other areas of my life that is taking my time
Pray the _Angelus_ every day at 6am, 12pm and 6pm sharpish.
I think _versus populum_ mass feels less properly reverential than _ad orientum._
What I would have considered optimal would have been if my Catholic High School and Elementary schools catechised me and taught me enough Latin to understand the liturgy, and I never had to sit through a guitar mass 😂
Then perhaps I wouldn't have for 35 years seen the Catholic Church as lacking soul and truth.
Never been to a Latin mass myself, I looked it up and there is only 2 places! In or near san diego it self...so now I know why I haven't been.

The Catholic Church is simply true. No other church was founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Just as there is room for eastern and Latin rites, there should be room for TLM and novus ordo parishes.

There is nothing wrong with critical thinking, but when you do.. most of the time you will leave empty handed. Scholars and what not have tried that with Christianity and they all converted.

12 Apostles. Saul of Tarsus was made Apostle Paul by Jesus from heaven. His epistles are the oldest Christian books of the Bible.
Fake
I'm dangerous.
Good.
I’m 14 and the only Catholic in a family full of Lutherans, I will always stay catholic
Both fake

PRAYING FOR THE RESTORATION OF TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS
He touches on something Jordan Peterson said: "It's the old stories resided for tens of thousands of years before people wrote them down six or 7,000 years ago, and they have worked their way through history to be the most successful model for civilization to base itself on. Then there is a darwinian proposition that says this is the most relevant philosophy on Earth..." To paraphrase.
Yes, we are dangerous and we should be.
Why don't I have an issue with these changes back-to-the-past???
Step in the right direction !
You scared me there for a minute, Michael. I said, "What? Michael Knowles is condemning the Catholic Church?? Okay, I'm done with him." And then I listened, thank goodness. 🙏❤
Jesus promised His Church that the ' gates of hell ' will attack but not prevail over ' MY CHURCH ' in Matt.16: 18-19. So.....BRING IT ON !!!
As Catholics living in Turkey, we would love to see Turkish subtitles on your videos. There is no youtube channel where we can watch in our language. Therefore, this action you will take will help us a lot.
Back to before Vatican 2 , yes . Hail Mary most pure.
Ridiculous
“Credo in Deum, Patrem omnipotentem, Creatorem caeli et terrae.
Et in Iesum Christum, Filium eius unicum, Dominum nostrum:
qui conceptus est de Spiritu Sancto, natus ex Maria Virgine,
passus sub Pontio Pilato, crucifixus, mortuus, et sepultus,
descendit ad inferos,
tertia die resurrexit a mortuis,

Credo in Spiritum Sanctum,

carnis resurrectionem,
vitam aeternam.

Truth!
Please, let us keep going back to the traditions of the past, before the Second Vatican Council. The Church needs to go back to being truly CATHOLIC.
Traditions of the past… like accepting councils and listening to the church.
Eastern Orthodoxy pre-dates the Roman Catholic Church, the first church was in Syria…
Our Lord Jesus Christ founded his ONE and ONLY CATHOLIC CHURCH along with the Apostles in 33A.D. St. Ignatius of Antioch who was a Direct DISCIPLE of St. John the Apostle was the first one to use the Greek word; "Katolicós" (UNIVERSAL) in 107A.D. NOT the Orthodox Church! In 3133A.D. Emperor Constantine issued the the Edict of Milan to stop the persecution of the Catholic Church, NOT the Orthodox! In 380A.D. Emperor Theodosius DECLARED the Catholic Church Officially as that of Rome..NOT the Orthodox!...In1054, (The Great Schism) The Orthodox Church came into existence because one of the reasons of them NOT to believe in a need for a POPE. It was the Catholic Church that produced the Bible under POPE DAMASUS , 382A.D. who ordered it be produced...It was the Catholic Church that determined which writings, Epistles and Gospels were the TRUE AND INSPIRED WORD OF GOD, In what order, (All 73 Books) would be in, along with the table of contents...NOT the Orthodox Church!
Not. Schism occured in 11th century.
@@evangelion1962 The "Great Schism" of 1054A.D. is EXACTLY what it was! It was over, (Papal Authority and the Filioque Clause of the Nicean Creed of 325A.D.) meaning that the One and ONLY Catholic Church existed since Jesus Christ founded it in 33A.D. with Peter the Apostle as the First Pope! That's an UN-DENIABLE FACT! Pope Leo IX was the Pope at that time. Once again; The Catholic Church was/had been the ONLY one holding Councils all along AND it will be til the end of the world.
The Catholics and Orthodox are the same age. They were both established at the same time. It was originally called the Catholic Orthodox church of Christ.
Viva Cristo Rey!
Great video, keep'em coming!!!
DEUS VULT!
I had a rough night tonight and need this. Thanks for posting it.
Wow after what we catholics did for Society and this is the thinks we get
It’s amazing to hear this Devotion to ROME and NOT to God! The “Church”, the Bride of Christ is a reference to All those who have been Born Again; those who have had their eyes opened, by GOD, to His Glorious Gospel, by His Grace ALONE! It is NOT a reference to ROME!!
Understand for yourself! If Rome is your god then God is not God of you!
And progression too, in the sciences, art, and other social and civilised endeavours.
The teachings/writings of the Catholic saints helps me get closer to Jesus and transform my life and self like I never imagined.
The Eastern Orthodoxy is older than the Catholic Church. But whoever dominates the discourse, the repetition of the lies, becomes “truth”.
Michael Matt quoted a 72 year old bishop from an AP article, " they are waiting for us to die!!" Hahaha! Yes we are!!!!
" Instead of seeking a deeper understanding of the great traditions of the Church through the ages, liturgists have sought "relevance" by means of continued adaptation to contemporary culture."
I saw and read that AP article and saw it as just another attack on Christianity in general (like the docufiction about dangerous Christian Nationalists) and the Catholic Church in particular.
Someone wrote in a comment that he left the Church because of Mary. Let me say that I remain in the Church Exactly BECAUSE MARY! Yes, I remain faithful to the Church BECAUSE Mary and BECAUSE the EUCHARIST
Left because of Mary impossible, that person is lying. They were never catholic, maybe they attended some masses.
Hmmm. Dangerous?
I’m not sure, I believe Catholic Church does not evangelized, it just stand firm for everyone to see and if you want to come in and have a solemn time, you are most welcome. Nobody jumping, running around. Catholicism is very tradition-base, simple and ritualistic. Catholicism is very personal in its approach towards God/Jesus/Holy Spirit.
Thank you very much Philadelphia USA 🇺🇸 Nostrovia ❤❤❤
I thought he would talk about the PDFile problems with the church..
