I like all the artists I listen to but Soyeon is the one I can wholeheartedly say I am proud of supporting, the amount of talent and hardwork she puts in deserves all the recognition in the world

Soyeon tries her best to set a good mood for all the members and explain her vision of the song as clear as possible. she herself does many takes before it sounds the way it's supposed according to her idea. that's why (G)I-DLE songs are so good and show off abilities and uniqueness of each member! and also thank you for the tips during recording music, I hope it will be useful for people who are interested.

The fact that cube ruined their comeback for not releasing the song snippet on time, soyeon had to show her disappointment by posting in ig and she probably the one who solved it.

I think an advantage AND a disadvantage Soyeon has is that she's not just the director, but part of the team. It's an advantage because she knows what her girls can do and has a short-hand to lead them to the kind of sound she wants. However, it's also a disadvantage because they ALSO know her just as well as she knows them. So they know when she's frustrated or when she "secretly" tries motivate them. Still, all-in-all I think it's more of a good thing and a bad. The girls might feel pressured to please Soyeon, but she are also comfortable with her. Plus, Soyeon can be blunt, can joke around, or else push them harder, and not worry about upsetting any feelings.
I don’t see how it is a disadvantage?Even for another producer all members would do everything to please him for the quality song, and anyway will find what he likes and doesn’t like. Just taking much more time and effort’s for adaptation and working process.
Moreover, knowing exactly what she secretly likes it or not is much faster than just wondering how the shot was and taking extra time to hear she didn’t like it and wants another. They will go home faster, since they know each other well and can finish the recording fast.
