Thanks for vid.,made a platform over the rearwheels on my own MF 1200,so 2 pallet 1000 litres tanks fit exactly there, use for ferti.N30 in spring or drain tube high press.cleaning.
Great video Dan. The 1200 must have been some piece of kit when they first arrived on the scene. They are still impressive looking today. The dry day makes all the difference.
Good old tractor . We had one on a motorway job drawing a stone cart with belt to stone the new drains . And sand cables . I remember the same white Square label on the cab! In red it said Dave Chudlegh drainage .
I liked sugar beet carting with the smells associated with it. However fodder beet harvest was a different affair- squeezed out with a gyco and then lobbed onto the trailer by hand. Nice to have had that experience though. Keep 'em coming.
Hello young man! Thankyou for the sticker. Quite surprising how much that skip on the beet harvester holds. When you pulled into the field with the camera in the grass the exhaust note was superb, a great tractor with a lovely growl!
The big 1200 is doing the job fine, must be like taking a major step back in time with the noise and transmission whine etc. The sugar beet will be a welcome addition to th co diet making apremium product for the Cadburys dairy milk.👍
Good traction but the pto was poor, a 1080 power pack was not able for a 6354 engine ,also gearbox was soft ,not designed for that amount of traction the tractor was capable of
Nice to see your 1200 getting a wee run out. How meany hp has she? She handles your trailer full and I love the engine noice from her she runs sweet. Great video Dan.
It's a great pleasure watching your videos. Thank you.
Well done Dan. So much rain in your world. You manage it well. Those are incredible tubers. Thank you for sharing.🚜
Takes me back Dan to when I owned mine 😁it was a 1978 model , great visability and it handled that job with ease 💪👌
Lovely to watch this harvest coming in . And not too much mud yet !
Great to see the 1200 out for a run.
Mugs arrived Tuesday and look great! Many thanks Dan.
She has the Massey whine! Great work, great video. Turned very wet with us today. Happy farming!🚜🐄😁
It does whine in high multi power.

Another great video Dan for vintage Thursday keep them coming
Great video 👍 great to see the 1200 working 👍thanks Antony 👍
Great video nice to see the 1200 at work
You get a better view of where the trailer is going sitting further forward, great sound from the 1200’s exhaust. Another great video.
Using my Vintage Thursdays mug right now Dan - a work of art! 😊

Loved this with the 1200. 👍👍
Some excellent reversing there Dan, nothing worse than taking out the side of a barn.
I've been looking forward to the beet harvest, thinking just last week that it should be soon. Watching it as I eat lunch, a pleasant few minutes.
Another good video Dan and I've received my Vintage Thursday mug.

Keep 'em coming.
Great video Dan keep up the good work
Great vid dan reminds me of the Massey 575 I used to drive because of the gauges and latched side window 👍
Very interesting video. Not seen one of those harvesters in action before.
Brilliant video
good movie!! what are the biggest advantages of this articulated tractor, when compared to the tractor of the same size, but conventional?
Better weight distribution between axles giving better traction from the same power.
Great video as always you ever disappoint for your vintage Thursday video dan
Forgot to mention Dan vintage Thursday mug arrived really nice mug thank you 👍
Nice to see the old girl earning her keep 💪 good video Dan 👍

Dan, I have lived near you all my life, but you are the first farmer in Wiltshire/Somerset to grow beet, is there anyone else locally that grows it ??
There's a few, closest to you is probably Collins farm shop in Bromham.
Keep up good work
Good video Dan. Thanks for the sticker.
Those cables hanging across the windscreen of the 1200 would really annoy me
Lovely to see the old lass out working. Is it a H gearbox in the 1200?? I’m surprised how much the harvester can hold as well! 🤪
Yes, it's just a standard 100 series gearbox.
Thoroughly enjoyed 🙂👍🏻
Been driving a Ford 5000 today to learn to drive tractors
Teas tasting better last 3-4 days each am with the vintage Thursday mug!!!
will you ever do a video on driving the harvester? it would be very interesting
Hopefully one day.
Great video dan, why isn't dad using his massey on harvester? Good to see the 1200 earning her keep.
7614 is busy on the hedge trimmer

I don't know the HP, but I guess around the 120 mark.
@@CowfarmerDan Dan she is a grand tractor. Look forward to seeing her in more videos.
How much do you grow and do you feed it all?
9 acres, and yes, the cows eat all of it.
👍
what model is the big massey
1200
the poorest tract of the planet!!!....
Great video Dan keep up the good work
