Why do they put a battery pack on top that looks like a motorcycle gas tank ? It is just silly. Putting the battery lower in the frame would make more sense for the ergonomics and riding balance.
So u can put a 50 ah frame battery down below and combine it for a total of 75 ah of battery! What seems like an idiotic choice initially by them turns out to be quite genius. They got it all planned out I tells ya.
Awsome review. I own 2 power goat v2 bikes for my father and me and we absolutely love them. I have around 2000km from this past season and no issues so far.. very satisfied
Awesome review! This bike is absolute blast. I was fortunate to pre-order back when it was only $2200. Was surprised it was bigger/taller than I expected but turns out great for me being 5'10". Weighing 148 lbs, my top speed is 48 mph. Crazy good. Other than brakes losing oil bleed earlier than I'd hope(might upgrade soon) and wishing the tail/rear turn lights were brighter, I am a very satisfied customer. Don't think I could've picked a better bike to suit my needs tbh. Got the basic dual batteries but now saving for the 50 ah frame battery to turn this baby from an already bad ass bike to a bad ass mothereffing bike!! lol.
They may as well put in a regen 5,000 watt motor and upgrade the front suspension. Upgrade the lighting and call it a V5.. skip the V4 and sell it at 4k. Put the extra battery in too.
Nice video. I've put a lot of miles on this bike and you're review is pretty spot on. It let's you go fast enough to really want to upgrade it. I've upgraded to 220mm Hayes brakes. I don't care for the tires on wet roads. I want to try the 350lb spring. I've had problems with the bike, including battery problems. But Goat Power Bikes has helped me every time.
I recently got the Billy Goat with the extended battery. I'm super happy with my purchase I love riding it. I grabbed the cargo wrack so I can go to the store and other errands. Don't forget to use the power boost. It will get you to top speed quickly. Hold down the + sighn for 2 or 3 seconds to get the boost.
I appreciate your videos. I've watched several now and you've helped me narrow my search. I was locking in on a Ghostcat, but now I'm considering this one. I realize this Goat is more like a motorcycle and the Ghostcat is more like a dirt bike. That's a choice I need to make first of all on which style I'd rather have. I do mostly street driving, but some off-road. Enough off-road where it does matter in my decision. With off-road tires as you suggested, is the suspension good enough to off-road? Thank you and have a great day!
Just purchased this bike today, Black Friday deal, ur coupon didn’t work with the sale today. I purchased this over the graffiti X because this was more portable and less weight compared and saved a bunch of money. Also, the less expensive graffiti is also well built but lacked real power. This one fits the bill on all levels. It’s basically a superior Super73 just a bit heavier with the option of a beefy 2nd battery.
Best review I have seen, but you're wrong about the power levels. You can switch it to 3/5/9 levels, each adjusting power as you would expect. I personally keep mine in 9 giving me the most adjustments. Almost 700 miles on mine and love it.
I think on the ride/bike quality are gonna be very similar. Both American brands and really good products. Main difference is gonna be top speed (35mph vs 45mph) and if you plan on riding off-road.
The seat is very uncomfortable. I had to buy extra cushion for ours. It’s extremely fast and very strong. it feels like an ultralight motorcycle. We love ours.
hello good sir thank you for the amazing video... could i ask a favor if its not too much trouble or im not sure if you made a video on this already but id love to see an assembly video im buying on soon and id love a proper filmed assembly
Vs goat, graffiti x has a bunch more power, battery capacity, lower center of gravity for stability, belt drive vs chain, air fork, but is more expensive. Both great but you get what you pay for.
Thanks for the great video review. I think the goat is a way better deal. If you buy the 50 amp hour battery for the goat you're working with 75 amp hours of battery for $4,200 (free shipping) as compared to The graffiti X you get 40 amp hour battery for 4,600 plus shipping which is going to get you close to $5,000. You'll be able to go four or five miles per hour faster (on the X) but you'll lose a s*** ton of range. To be honest who's going to ride 45 mph on the regular anyways? You also burn through the battery quicker on the bigger motor on the X.
@@tonyholmes9024 Yeah. I haven't been too impressed by the range of the Graffiti X's 40 ah from what I'm hearing. U would think 40 ah would beat the 25 ah of the Goat's in range, but that's simply not the case.
I'm currently looking for an e-bike. I just saw this vid and I'm interested in getting one of these. It looks like you are in Maple Ridge. That's where I live. Where did you get that Motor Goat? Local? Or online?
No problems! Tons of power. Friend of mine runs a channel called “Shoot the Chit” Big guy around the 250lbs range and he loves this bike. Go check it out
I know a website that can upgrade your everyday monster into an all-out destroyer, but I'm coming from a 20ish, hey bike, so this one will be a true ripper for me.
The Motor Goat used to have a 4.5" tire in the front but it was rubbing on the fork so they switched it to a 4" on the front and left the back at4.5" So I would not recommend putting Super 73 4.5 or 5" tires on this. There are plenty of options for a dual motor e-bike that are nearly as fast that are better suited to off-road. If you off-road so much that you consider sacrificing the great Innova slicks that come stock for off road tires then maybe the MG is not the best decision for you. Also you need to be a mechanical engineer to take the back tire off the MG. I own one of these and I can attest to its quality. The only pain point is that you have to be very careful attaching the battery to the mount as it can easily fall off. It is extremely poor design and I recommend just leaving it on once you are sure that it's on there solid. A lot of people are using cinch cables to strap the battery onto the frame, which is just silly they have to do that. Once that battery falls off your bike I really wouldn't want to use it again because it could just be a time bomb after that.
Realistically the beat would be to get the 50ah battery, pedal less, get a tank bag for the top and a locking storage on the rear behind the seat. You can add saddlebags for extra storage.
The power goat looks like the most uncomfortable seat, then the billy goat and the motor goat looks like the most ample seat. I would maybe grab the hulk goat seat and put it on the motor goat 😂
Im guessing you can not buy an aftermarket battery to match the voltage of this Goat 71.4 volt battery. So Goat makes a killing selling batteries that cost 50-60% more than an aftermarket one. $650 instead of $450
Could be… maybe a battery balancer would work with an after market battery. But to be honest, it would have to be a fairly high end battery to get proper amperage that the bike demands. In my opinion, you’re better off getting the right battery from the source.🤷🏻♂️

Very true... But Leaving that space open allows for the storage options for the bike.
They have two second batteries you can put in the frame also I personally think the battery on top looking like a gas tank is bad ass.
