When I went to South India for a visit, I went in the month of March to be honest I have been to South India before in October and also in December. To be honest South India is hotter than cold, the weather is a little chatty so bring light clothes and sunglasses and sans cream with betar and the chance of getting tanned in the sea salt water breeze is a bit higher.
