@Rayner Teo A quick question on this, can this be used on 1 hour or 4 hourly chart to catch short term moves? I would appreciate your early response.
So nice video. I use a strat that is similar that maybe would improve the returns on this. On the ATR Stop I set 63 Lookback, 21 and i have a 4.5 and 6 ATR. I have found that when a new daily swing low happens I look for a move back to the 4.5 ATR Touch with a stop on close using the 6 ATR. TP is 1/3 at Old Swing Low, then follow remain 2/3 with a 3d SMA of the H or L, worst case is the 6 ATR stop on close. J-Yen would be a great example of trade that has give you 3-4 sells on this down move. When Both ATR Structures change I switch to the process in that direction. You can see many times that when a new 200d H/L is hit there can be a reversal before continuation. Food for thought.

Hi Rayner, just wonder if the 200-days breakout is changed to 55-days breakout with the same trail stop loss at 6x ATR, do you have the back test data to see if the annual returns increased / decreased with this modification?
I haven't test it, but my guess is the returns relative to risk will decline because of more false breakouts.

Hi Rayner, I just started following and I love your videos. Question about this strategy, what would you suggest for the initial stop loss? If you risk 1% of your portfolio with an initial 6ATR stop loss then you need the price to go up pretty damn high for to make the trade a 1:1 ratio, and obviously you're relying on a pretty massive rally to get better than 1:1. thanks!

Account size, leverage used, and capital risked, all makes a difference, without knowing this you'll never be able to replicate the results.
