I love how they just let you take the bikes and go ride the route. Thunder beach is my favorite demo place. Harley Davidson does the same thing. You know the route, haul ass😮
Unfortunately, Harley wasn't out this fall. They were last spring and the spring before. The only demo ride experience I had before that was at the AIMEXPO the last time (only time?) it was in Orlando. I test rode a Yamaha and a Suzuki, and it was basically a follow-the-leader group ride. I definitely prefer the "You know the route, haul ass" experience!
I’ve planned on many times getting over to Indian and doing a test ride but end up not doing it, just get caught up in other stuff, thanks for sharing, just being nosey all those bike’s have that whining noise down shifting?
@ reason I ask is my Kawasaki Vulcan does the same thing and I can’t remember if it always did that, I play my music loud so much when I should be listen to the engine more
Yeah, I can kinda tell it likes even lower RPM than my Buell or even the '88 Sportster I used to have. I did ride my old Concours over to PCB, so that probably influenced me a bit. But IIRC, this seemed to be tuned for a bit higher RPM than the Sport Chief. I wouldn't have thought that would be the case, but that's the way it seemed.

@@SouthernBoyzRyde I can't remember honestly. I'm so used to the noise of my old concours that I probably tuned it out.

You're way over-reving in the RPM range. These bikes like to live in the 2800-3200 range. Its a heavy touring bike.. not a sport bike.
