I suppose that your mileage will depend on whether you consider the new shorts/colour an upgrade/downgrade and how much you want the latest sculpt and smash torso. The new one definitely has the superior paint job : particularly the eyes, the larger head -which improves the proportions- and the more subtle veins. The ideal look for me would be the AOU Hulk with the original Hulk's torn trousers.

Nice review of this monster. I agree, I can see many collectors picking up the screaming head and using that on the Avengers Hulk. I dont mind the colour change, as I think the paint app is superior than the previous version. Also I prefer the new shorts, as I prefer techie pants rather than the torn pants.
Do you think the extra head sculpt and smash body? I'm for most realistic as possible... I'm going to sell my avengers 1 hulk, (even though it's s great classic hulk) the aoe is more realistic. The shorts are growing on me
MASSIVE PIECE! the angry look is a seller for me. a must have for my collection along with a additional torso. I wonder how much his lower torso is going to be on the secondary market ie. ebay $$$$$$$. Thx for sharing my friend another great review.

I have avengers 1 hulk... but man, im thinking about selling him off to get this one!
yes the first hulk is more classic but this hulk in terms of detail and paint app blows the first hulk out of the water ..
Love the Hulk, I just feel in the end all were getting is different paint color and a pair of pants.😐
