Are we reacting or responding?

Luke was not saying what was right or wrong regarding the olympic opening ceremony, but rather, to keep in tune with how we respond to things like this. Are responding from a place or "trigger", or are we allowing ourselves to continuously be shaped by Jesus, even if we don't understand right away?
