WOW!! I would have NEVER thought of making anything so beautiful out of a plastic spoon. Brilliant! Thank you so much for your fantastic creativity and instructional video!
Oh my goodness! Those spoon ornaments are gorgeous❣️
These spoons are so VINTAJ (vintage) i love them...i am going to make some for christmas...thank you happy 🐦 bird 😊
I just love this woman ......love her stuff that she does xx
The little cup with the hummingbird above it is gorgeous!
The little teacup charm is absolutely SO adorable! One of my daughters LOVES tea and this would be a perfect ornament for her as I make an ornament every year for my kids. These spoons turned out BEAUTIFUL👍. I have some of the DT silverware as well as some vintage sets. I think I will try this on some of the vintage pieces to make them sturdier and, to save year after year. I so enjoyed watching you do this video and appreciate your detailed instructions. Have a blessed day❣️
Oleg, my daughters and I have been watching all your videos. We are down here in Fl. where I literally met Laura from working at the front desk at FHCI. She trained under J.M(she'll know who I mean) and I always LOVED watching her. She spoke to me every early am morning at the front desk. I introduced her to my daughter, too. Will you guys ever visit here? I would LOVE to tell Laura so many things going on here. She is the SWEETEST!! Hope she remembers me.
I love every single Christmas Ornament You've ever made .I love to make them and My Grandkids love to help .We make new ones every year .Bless U for showing Us such wonderful special ornaments ,I could never think of these ,so beautiful .We do make some that We get an idea to make and We love those too .God Bless U and Yours and Thank U so very much .
Very Beautiful!!, but don't forget to use precautions when working with the 6000 GLUE, it has caused Cancer among some craft professionals. Thin latex glove work great and there are other glues readily available that are safe to use for a family day craft session.
Brooke Mathers - I was thinking the same thing. E6000 glue is very toxic!
I didn’t know that. Thank you for telling us. Much appreciated.
🌲🌝☘️
Thanks 4 the information didnt no an I'll pass it on
Do you know of any of the varieties that you can use instead of E6000?
Sugar do the same, just saying…
Enjoyed your tutorial. You are soft, patient, and explained everything so well!
I was simply charmed and delighted by this video! While everyone will tell you how wonderfully talented you are - which is true! - I have to commend you; you speak beautifully and your voice is very comforting. I am a woman so I can say this - the voices of some women set my teeth on edge, lol, but you're delightful to listen to.
With a slight adjustment in items, this would make a "Stunning Name tag" for a Wedding gift!!!

You are so welcome Dear!

Thank you so much!
These are so cute! I was trying to think of something for a few co-workers for Christmas and this is it!
Thank you Hun! I'd love to see your finished spoons! :o)
These would be fun as gifts to a Wedding Party as Christmas Ornaments (especially if during the holiday season).... using the color and theme of the wedding
ok working on 3 spoons now. along with my crosses and my Shabby Chic ornaments. love all of you crafts
I know where your silver and gold cord went! The Borrowers took it. They live in the walls of your home. I just wait until they are done with it and they bring it back. Usually it's when I have bought another one that they decide to return it, right? That is a fun and beautiful project. I will have to make a few. It's a good use of all the trinkets I have accumulated over the years. Thank you dear.
LOL! I think you may be right Kathy! My cord magically showed up a couple of days ago! :o) Thank you for watching Hun and God bless!
When my kids were younger, we had Mr. Nobody that lived with us, LOL. Now we are empty nesters and the old age issues has brought him back, even though I never missed him at all. Got to laugh, does no good to get upset. ❤️👍🏼
I loved those Borrower books.😄
I LOVE this spoon ornament! You are blessed with such fabulous creativity. I look at a plastic spoon and all I see is a plastic spoon. As I said below, your tutorials are among the best on You Tube, if not the best. You're well prepared, you list links to all the supplies, you explain things slowly and clearly, you take the steps in order without jumping around, you show every step and give helpful hints along the way. I also appreciate how cost conscious you are. I think your idea for the knives is wonderful, but hope you'll come up with another idea for the forks. I live alone and rarely entertain (I mean, it's been years) so decorating them to eat with isn't something I'll use. Fabulous, wonderful, thank you!
Awww! Thank you so much for your kind encouragement! I appreciate you taking the time to post this! Hmmmmm. I'll have to think about the forks. That will be a challenge! Hugs to you my friend! :o)
If an idea comes to mind about the forks, I'd love for you to share it but don't tire yourself out trying to come up with something. It's easy to give you "kind words of encouragement." I just tell you exactly what I think about your excellent tutorials. Do you sell your items at all? Hugs back to you.
Awww! Thank you Hun! I have never sold any of my items because I end up giving them away to family, friends or others who need a word of encouragement or a pick-me-up. I have had many people message and email me to tell me they made this or that and it sold really well at the craft sales. :o)
What a sweet thing to do. I thought about you today. I was in Dollar Tree and got 3 packages of the plastic silverware. Then I saw a package of tiny spoons. They're also silver plastic but there are 25 spoons (only spoons) in the package. There was also a package of forks the same size that reminded me of small cocktail forks. They would make mini ornaments.
FlaKNMB awesome
Yea.....😍 this is something simuler i watch long go from you wher i start watching your sweet things you doing. 🎉 🥰😍

the spoons are beautiful! The blue made me think a Frozen theme tree. I'm as big a Disney Addict as I am a crafting addict! And yes please on the silverware tutorial!
Yes! They have Frozen Dress It Up buttons too! You can find them on Ebay. Thank you so much!
Oh how cool! I'm going to have to check that out - Where did you find the Frozen buttons? Michael's perhaps?
Saw your comment below - went to Etsy and found them! Thank you. Also found some baking buttons so I will probably also make a little set for my eldest daughter. Saw so many I think I will probably come up with some for all four daughters!
That is wonderful Hun! I'm doing a "Chip 'N' Dale" spoon for myself because they are my favorite Disney characters. I'm kind of "old school." LOL
You can find those on Ebay as well! :o)
Perciosos!!! Gracias por compartir
¡Muchas gracias por tus amables palabras!

This is lovely, love the cup and saucer.Maz Australia
This is such a pretty and clever craft! Thanks for sharing!!
You are very welcome! That is quite a compliment coming from two of my favorite UA-camrs! :o)
OneVeryHappyBird you could buy finger cot latex bandaid covers to protect your finger tips when applying glue or sponge tipped finger covers from Walmart they are good for acrylic applications should work well with glue
I'll look for them Sweetie. Thank you!
Oh you are too sweet!!
Nadine Sawtell - heh, she wouldn’t wear em...she’d figure out a way to make a necklace or birdhouse out of them. PLEASE! NO ONE send her any Kotex!!! Man, HB, we love ya gurl! HOW does your mind keep all this straight?.... and don’t tell me Kotex.
Very cute! Thanks for sharing this! ❣️
I just find it fascinating to watch all the different glitters being added!!
Hello Bev
They are beautiful!
Thank you so much!
You can use Ranger Glossy Accents to glue the chain on. It has a fine tip applicator so you can just easily apply a thin line instead of messing with a toothpick and E6000.
Good suggestion Shelly49! I have some Glossy Accents, but I found that other people sometimes have a lot of difficulty finding it in their area. I used this product in a video tutorial that I did a long time ago and I got a lot of "I can't find it" complaints. I think that is why I use E-6000. Plus, it holds really tight.

OneVeryHappyBird- I’m not 1000% sure ( that really gets me off the hook-🤪) but I believe stores that Carry merchandise for intricate crafts sell small(maybe 2oz) bottles with a VERY small gauge metal tube-like applicator at the tip. I know they exist cause my fat wrinkly hands have held one!!
I wonder if Hobby Lobby-toy car model area would have them. Yeppers- I’m goin in a mission! 🛒-CLEAR A PATH, PEOPLE!!!!
Jana Gary Did you find it?!?
Hello, what a lovely idea. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
These would make very cute fridge magnets ! Or suction cups for windows ,mirrors to ,key chains so many ways to use them
So cute, I just bought the smaller spoons that comes in 24pk. I want to try to make them smaller.
Thank you very much!
After doing the front glitter I'd just hold it by the bail and glitter the back at the same time--and do it over a piece of paper or a tray that's used for embossing powder and use all the excess on the back--then put it on a string or put a wooden skewer through the bail and hang it to dry. That way you cut the wait time in half.
My hands kind of shake when doing small work, so I don't know if that would work for me personally, but these are good suggestions! Thank you!
I would do the glitter before cutting the handle off the spoon.
I think they are excellent suggestions from Shelley49 and Jodi, I have only one hand that works well and that annoyingly shakes, and I know keeping the handle on or putting a skewer in the bail would be so helpfull. Also catching the glitter and putting it back or starting as new jar of mixed colours might help with not having to throw the glitter away. I think your videos are great and the spoons look so pretty. Will have to do a search for the plastic silver spoons as I only seen white ones here. Thank you for sharing your video it all looks great
Jodi Schroeder Hey! That’s a great idea... you could turn it upside down after ya ‘sprinkle’ and poke the handle down into styrofoam??!
That tea cup is adorable !!
Thank you so very much!
Those are the cutest ideas with silver plastic spoons I have seen. Wonderful ideas for lots of tiny things.
I love watching you every thing is beautiful
Thank you so much for your nice comment Beatrix! Hugs!
Beautiful!!
Thank you!

Hi Sweetie! I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a kind comment. It does my heart good! :o) I'm looking forward to more of YOUR wonderful crafts as well! God bless!
You are so talented!
Awww! Thank you!
I remember doing these in school when I was a kid with spoons from my moms kitchen and odds and ends that the teacher supplied, however, I don't remember them being so BEAUTIFUL! You are truly gifted and a GREAT instructor, I could watch you all day long. Your voice is soothing and you have a gift for teaching. Truly did I enjoy stumbling upon your UA-cam channel. I definitely would like to see more and will search your site as you now have a new subscriber. Thank you for not only bringing back memories of simpler days but reminding me that beauty can be so simple and elegant. I thank you very much. May the Lord keep you and yours.
Awww! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful comment! WELCOME! I appreciate your sweet words! God bless!
Thank you for sharing. We all appreciate it. They are beautiful
Thank you Debra!
Oh my gosh!!! Stunning!!! You made a cheap piece of a spoon into a absolutely gorgeous gift idea. Thank you soooo much for an amazing tutorial. You make it look so easy...gotta try it...
Does WalMart sale the silver bales you used here?
Thank you so much Sweetie! Yes, I've seen the "silver spoons" at Walmart, but it is generally when it gets closer to Thanksgiving that they put them out. Dollar Tree has them all the time, but some stores will sell out around the Holidays too, so grab them now!
Do they sell the bales, though?
Gliz. you can usually get them at craft stores like Michaels or A.C Moore. in the jewelry section. Should be with the brads and jump rings.
Tip: So you don't waste any at all, dip the toothpick into the opening of the tube to get the glue.
Excellent suggestion Lyn!
Glad to be of service!!! Like your ideas too!
Thank you so much Lyn!
I thought they would translate into Christmas Tree decorations easily!
And beautiful coworker gifts! I have over 30, so need to think about how to make this practical, but I love the idea.
beautifully done. easy to follow and what a lovely lady. Thank you so very much. x
Awww! Thank you Sarah!
Интересная работа, мне нравится.КРАСИВО. 👍👍👍💖💖💖💖
You make the coolest stuff...love it xo
Thank you Hun! I have a lot more to come!
Hi loving this craft but would it not be better to collect the extra spakles on paper rather than kitchen towel.?
Yes, it would be. I just like doing things the hard way sometimes. LOL!
These are the cutest things ever..i just love your channel...you are so patient when explaining ❤😊🌻
Absolutely beautiful!!!
I LOVE this spoon with the little tea cup and am crazy about the hummingbird (my favorite bird). I am a senior and can't work with those tiny things anymore. Do you sell any of them? If so can I please buy this one from you??? I love anything with hummingbird's since I had one built a nest on my front porch and she had 2 baby's and she returned the next year also and had another 2 but did not come back again after that. I would also like the one with the nest if possible??? Pls!
I'm sorry Sweetie, I don't sell any of my crafts, but I do appreciate you wanting to buy them. I would give this craft a try Hun! I'm a senior myself and have shaky hands, but I can still do it. Tweezers help a lot and so do toothpicks. I move the charms around with those things if I find it hard to place them on with my fingers.
I would make you some
HI ?????, What would you charge for the 2 I am interested in? Can you give me an estimate?
I will have to get the stuff, and then give you the price.
Just get the stuff for the Humming bird nest and give me a price so I know if I can afford both. Thank you very much.
Very Nice..Thanks for Sharing!
LOVE the tiny cup & saucer you used ! enjoyed your video very much and really like all of the detailed information as well as you adding the links for the items used thank you for sharing your crafty talent with us, ps...I thought about the spoon handle being an ornament as well just adding the bail and decorate it much like the round part of the spoon, I'll bet it would be very pretty also
Hi how are you doing my friend
SOOOO LOVELY!!

Those who receive your handiwork are lucky indeed!
