I think paint brushes would work great for starting out with smaller areas. Those really cheap, stiffer, children's brushes that are synthetic and black would work awesome. You get like 8 of them for $2.

Aislin I just wanted to comment to say that i’ve been so inspired by your videos - i recently tried to bleach out brown toner from my hair that lifted to a weird orange/pink and i finally got it to a gorgeous ‘natural’ platinum 🥰 literally got the hair of my dreams after so many years of thinking i needed to have my natural colour because people around me didn’t like dyed hair. I feel so much more myself and so much happier with dyed hair 🤍

Oh i love this is done on a weft! It makes t so much more versatile, to opt in and out for the colour, no need to bleach or damage my own hair etc

Its so pretty 🌈 I was thinking maybe sketching out the heart rings on a piece of paper and keeping it under the hair as a template might help too to keep the heart shape from rounding out in the bigger rings. But I also think the rounding hearts look cool in their own way, it reminds me of like oil slicks in puddles which I think look awesome

last i coloured my hair i used a small paint brush for the delicate parts like around the ears. maybe that would be good for the heart part, to be easier to paint?
