When in doubt, pinky out. That shows how classy everything is. Yet they had no doubt about it being garbage time, and thus, no pinkys were seen anywhere.
Pure, unadulterated, garbage time. It always starts with no primer. Or no dullcote. Then comes the wailing, the rending of cloth, and the gnashing of teeth.
@@lordsofwargamesandhobbies3905 I think it’s the Boy Wonder John Lennon. He seems to be the 40k hero. It doesn’t matter where they hang it, as long as they leave him in it like a relic of the Imperium.
Empire was the most insanely expensive army to collect. I remember when i was thinking of getting into Fantasy and i did a price comparison of 2k points of empire vs 2k points of Dark Elves. Dark Elves was like $220 and i had an army with options. Just getting an empire army off the ground was like $3k.
Despite our best efforts we’ve managed to put the tariff master in charge here in the states 🇺🇸😢. What will these tariffs mean for you guys and orGW in the future ? Would love to hear your thoughts …… 🤔
He's announced plans for tariffs for Mexico and Canada, so RIP food prices, bump on gas prices, nasty hike on most cars, energy products probably go up. It's likely he also wants one for China, which will likely have indirect affects, especially for hobbying tools or machining made to make them. He hasn't said anything about slapping tariffs on the UK, which would make models ~25% more expensive at a minimum.
This was a ton of fun. I really enjoyed the format. Also loved the wife side story! I was literally having a flash back to finally laying down on the couch and closing my eyes and my wife was like what do you want for your birthday. lol
You absolutely want to play commercials for what comes out in January, because you want to tell people what to spend their gift cards on. Especially those amazon gift cards that people get from estranged uncaring relatives.
You could swing by Canadian Tire and buy a few cans of whatever flat black they have and just put your own label on it and stick that out on the shelf. ;-) Cheers!
Empire wasn't popular because their models were old and ugly. Nobody wants to paint a thousand crappy models of guys with puffy sleeves. Simple as that
Got out in 2005, and only had one complete feckwit of an area manager, most of the managers were ok.... that one though had all the management capabilities of a 2-year-old
Hi guys, Thanks for your videos, always great subjects, and very interesting point of view from your side of the table. Looking at all the news entries and new products, mostly from Games Workshop, but not only, I’m wondering if the hobby world is not becoming a truly luxury occupation... From my point of view, based in Europe (France), prices are sky rocking, and I don’t know how you guys in Canada are doing as for some stuff it is almost the double… I was wondering if there are a lot of young people buying stuff or is it more older people as I don’t know how a young person starting in life can cope with this… Keep up the videos and discussion, always refreshing ! Thanks !
They can't. Thats why it's dying and GW is in panic mode. And resellers or LGS don't care as long as your buying buying buying. Fear of Missing Out, FOMO, is a dirty tactic and those of us who see it are done with shady businesses. Sony, GW, etc can all go bankrupt, we have 3d printers.
Chris and Jay, I miss you guys. I enjoy your videos, because I live so far away, now and I am able to see you guys shoot the s#!t like the old days. Keep up the good work! -Vic.
As a consumer I really appreciate a long-term view, and love the AMG roadmaps. However, as you guys I can see why you might not appreciate it. I think there is a way they could do it with marketing to encourage people to say buy the current start collecting for that army
Black primer, I bought a tonne (well 4 cans) because of boarding actions and death company fomo box. Always enjoy your videos, very chill and kinda like bevis and butthead sitting on the couch riffing music videos, except it’s the warhammer business model 😂
When I was a kid I could only afford to play Mordheim with like 5 minis. Now that Warhammer TOW is back I got really exited, I get that if you already played for years you might not care any more, but still joking like that is quite underwhelming
Glad you are finally able to enjoy it mate. I think you will find that we make our jokes but are generally pretty fair with how we talk about Old World. We are fans, and we don't take it too seriously.
I think what GW needs to do is the same thing Mortal Kombat did back in the day when the franchise was dying which completely refreshed it and brought it back to life. They found an in-lore reason to change the outcome of the end of the world. Any TOW lore will always be restricted by the end times which means no surprise, boring and predictable, if that does not change, I feel it makes it a bit pointless to relive a world you know its going to end anyways.
Hey guys ! 🙂I've been watching since you started making videos. But I have found myself watching less and less. The videos are too rambly for me, there is sometimes no coherent information relayed at all honestly. Just wanted to drop this comment - and in a month or so maybe a video title will catch my interest 🙂 Be well
Thanks for your feedback. I'm not sure what we can do about that, we can only really make the kinds of videos we can make. I think we feel most comfortable with this casual format, that is why we are able to do it. What kinds of videos or information are you looking for?
The previewed models are a huge let down for me. All waaaaaaaay too late. Sold my Eldar at the end of 7th edition and i own about 6k points of Krieg already. The wolf goblins look kind of cool but im told AoS still has a double turn so its still unplayable garbage. Guess ill save a lot of money in 2025.
Trench crusade a hit to come ? Maybe for a season within a niche group of players who will love to make noise around that game just because it is not GW's. Besides cool art works - that not everyone will like - the rules are very light and the miniatures awfully as detailed as the first GW plastic kits...
In a world of darkness out there, I'm just glad Timmy found love
You versus the little Timmy she told you not to worry about.
Lmao
I wish you guys had some puppets on the show.
@@garyjenson1326 Timmy and Jimmy the puppets?
It was absolutely a great showing. Hyped for Empire of Man and Krieg. Also, this show should just be named Garbage Time.
And i was going to call in after work for black primer 🤣
Hold on I'm making a batch as we speak
It's NOT garbage time; it's called rhizomatic philosophical discussion. It's academic and it's classy! 😂
When in doubt, pinky out. That shows how classy everything is.
Yet they had no doubt about it being garbage time, and thus, no pinkys were seen anywhere.
So for the Empire release I’m mostly excited about getting the Empire Militia for Mordheim.
Garbage time made it into the title! 😂
Thanks for the content was good to listen to while painting
That's the idea!
Pure, unadulterated, garbage time.
It always starts with no primer. Or no dullcote.
Then comes the wailing, the rending of cloth, and the gnashing of teeth.
No dullcote, now there's a real crisis
You should take the Silent Night Deadly Night 2 "Garbage Day" meme and adapt it as a "Garbage Time" thumbnail for these videos.
Pro Warhammer player…
Do they sell jerseys? Lol
They do actually. A bunch of “pro teams” sell them
Who is the LeBron of Warhammer, and where will we retire his jersey

Lol truth. It did feel like an incredible feat to pull it off, financially and with the effort of painting every damn soldier

garbage time = best time
What do I want for Christmas? The “tactical hoodie” with the zip on rain shell that was advertised on you channel last time I tuned in.
Me 2
Grey primer is the superior choice anyways, let them have their black primer lol
If only the masses agreed lol
You absolutely want to play commercials for what comes out in January, because you want to tell people what to spend their gift cards on. Especially those amazon gift cards that people get from estranged uncaring relatives.
I'm not sure how amazon gift cards help us 🤔 but I get your point!
@@lordsofwargamesandhobbies3905 You're 100% correct the amazon cards don't help you guys, but James Workshop cares not from where the money flows. lol
Finish the joke:
Timmy & Jimmy are playIing 40k at Lords of War. Their wives enter the store. What do they say?
I pretty much come here for garbage time (and TOW sarcasm) so this is all gold.
Man if you need primer and the game companies are out of stock, start selling rustoleum camo spray paint. That stuff is amazing.
Hyped for Empire, best reveal of the show, MILITIA! 😁😁😁
Love it. Love the old GW work stories. Very fun. Also did not know about the disappearance of black primer ? AWSOME.
Timmy has a wife!? Lmao hilarious 😂
Empire got some cool stuff toward the end there, so I can understand them not expanding it. Though a foot knight kit would have probably sold well.
love garbage time videos!
Aw, I remember when I used to be good at games too

Krieg! Krieg! Krieg! Woo!!🎉🎉
The really early previews feel weird, a lot of time by the time they show in stores, it feels like they should have been out for months
Yea gonna be a while for some of these
I am glad GW reveiled the new edition of LotR - I was afraid we would be a little low on new editions this year
It was dangerously low
Mmm... 26 minutes of Canadian garbage time...
I have nothing to add, but I hear comments increase youtube engagement metrics, so here's a garbage comment for garbage time.
Bless up
Is gunpla a gateway into Warhammer or vice versa?..neither?
Some people do both. But I don't think they influence each other much
The Empire release was easily the worst reveal, just more old models sold at modern prices.
Still cheaper than eBay though

Double turn is fine, linear turn order generates plenty of negative play experiences. It's really just a preference.
I think 40k is getting ready to take a hit with Trench Crusade...a major hit
the market needs more competition anyway.
Deathblow????
yeah..no
