I'd love to see more of James' builds, they look so insanely detailed! I wonder if it would be possible to create specific career or trait inspired builds. Like what would a mischievous sim's house look like? Or someone who's lazy or a slob? Feel like we could make much more weirdly specific builds with the new debug
@@sims_berner I think lots of subtle clutter items would be good, like a rocket lamp or pencil holder, and maybe the school project rocket and planets diorama that you could leave on a desk with other clutter to make it look like an adult's design project
The house at 7:50 is what I call "Retro-modern" it is something that was considered very modern but at a very different time. So it's retro but its modern :-D I love it.
i love all the extra stuff sims has given us to play with over the years but sometimes it's nice and refreshing to go back to basics.... all these builds are so beautiful and creative
You should do a #hiddenbathroomforsemaj where the builder can only have 1 bathroom in a home with 10 rooms or less and you have 3 chances to find the bathroom.

This might sound a bit messed up but how about a sad build challenge? Like, show in your build, that there was once a happy family, or high hopes for a better life or a once beautiful home that was left alone. There would be so much potential for different styles and details. And it would be great to see how people make the home somewhat sentimental :)

I love base game builds because I only have base game (well, and the free 'pack' with holiday stuff or w/e) but my main problem with base game is THERE ARE NO GOOD CURTAINS. None.
Always blown away with all the builders on these community videos, its so amazing! And base game on top of that was nuts. I also really loved the floor plans for these places, very, very unique and interesting, that gives me more ideas besides my sad boxes :P

XD As was the Junkyard Build -- I did not expect that interior to be so nice! And the windmill cottage, and the mansion. . .you guys, you are all amazing and I am in awe of your building prowess. I swear, one of these days I'm going to make a new save file and just have houses and community lots that I've seen and loved on these Gallery Builds videos. (Plus a couple of other favorites, of course. :p)

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the debug items will disappear if you don't have the packs the items came from. So even though in the gallery it will say it is base game only that isn't entirely true. If someone who has only the base game tries to place that lot the non-base game debug items will be removed.

Awesome base game builds! 😍 It's always a challenge to build base game houses but it's so much fun. I recently uploaded a base game only industrial loft 😊
It would be awsome for console to at least have shared galleries with our online friends. For instance I am on PS4, if you where to and I added you as a friend it would be cool if we could then check out each other's galleries. But that's not even possible right now (if ever). It's so lonely as a console simmer.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't use cheats on PS4 which sucks :/ unless there's some special thing to enable cheats, idk but I haven't found anything. So it really does limit what you can do. But I'd love to see someone try and do an awesome build on a console!
Taylor Britt You can use cheat on console 😂, to access it hold down L2, R2, L1, and R1 and then input testing cheats and then the cheat and done, but the downside is we don’t get to earn trophies cause of the cheats
Could you do a house build where you use the base game except each room uses base game + random pack? E.g kitchen is get famous, bathroom uses only island living etc? Might be a cool challenge

The 3rd and 4th Sims builds in the video were my favorites, the only thing I would change is the upstairs on the 3rd build because I don't think it makes sense to have the people upstairs going all the way down very long stairways just to get to a bathroom. So I would built the bathrooms upstairs as well and take out all those open doors in between the bedrooms upstairs and put small baths instead.
I couldn't do any base game builds after your one vid that mentioned folks to do some. We had no internet for a while. That's life cuz keeping a roof over our heads is more important. Can't wait to get back on. It's been I think a month at least now.
An idea for a build challenge: Semaj builds a really crappy house and challenges us to remodel / redecorate it without changing the exterior shape of the home
You should do every world like #WillowCreekBuildForSemaj or WC if that’s easier and so on for every world and makeover the worlds with the builds! Each world could be a video!
The only thing about this one gas station debugged build is they don't sort any of the things by the packs. Like there isn't any graffiti in the base game so if you don't have city living you won't find the graffiti in your debug/live edit objects. So essentially you wouldn't be able to utilize that one build if you're missing the pack that live edit object is from. But it's still an awesome build!
i liked when you didn't use the first person camera. with the regular one we can actually see the floor-plan and generally we just get a not so rushed view of the house. with the FPC you're always jumping so fast lmao
glass roofs make builds go crazy like in the junkyard build, it drove me crazy last night while building a house, couldnt build a second floor because of it until i removed the glass roof i had xD
Please do a hideforsemaj where we hide an object in the build and you have to find it

You should do apartment builds
Carly Marisa would be nice but you can’t upload apartments to the gallery, you have to save them as rooms which is annoying
you need a pack to do that not veryone can join that way
