I think Jorge retired to early, he wasn't going to get any title shots, but he had some good fights that he could still win. Gilbert Burns is just younger and has that dog in him still. It's not the GameBred doesn't have the dog in him to win, he just has to accept that the championship is out of his reach anymore. Nate has always been a gate keeper and Jorge isn't a gate keeper, he's been on the wrong side of poor decisions, Nate and Nick both are always shocked when they lose decisions. They lossed all of those fights legitimately, unlike GameBred he was robbed more so then both Diaz brothers.
Nares boxing is lousy, he's not even on the same page as his brother. GamdBred is a way better MMA fighter and say what they will, he's definitely a better striker. Nate Diaz claims he has sparred with Andre Ward and some other names in boxing, I think he was more of a punching bag then an actual competitive sparring partner. He said that he wouldn't get touched by Conor in a full camp and Conor busted him up, Jorge was not going to lose that fight if the doctor hadn't stopped the fight due to a cut. Jorge had busted Nate's eye up, his ribs were not going to automatically heal themselves. His ribs had been demolished, but Nate claimed he was only getting started. Nate sounds like he's sparred with top ranked boxers, his speech has gotten worse over the years.
