The kid is my grandson. His Grampy and I are teary reading all the nice comments. He is as competitive and smart as he looks and he is an exceptional human. He gave his sister half of his winnings. Very proud of both of them.
Some people may think that this is too Mr. Beast-esque, however I love the direction you’re going, Nick. Your interacting with fans, spreading positivity, and finding new ways to prove that it pays to be fit.
I 100% admit that Beast is an inspiration. So is the show ANW. So are dozens of other creators. And many UA-camrs have taken my ideas, added their own twist, and created original content with it. That's what we do! If my content inspires people to workout, that's all I care about.
Yea I don't think the concept of making people off the street compete for money is a mr beast original concept. This is like a better version of ANW. I do love the idea of incorporating different types of fitness. ANW focuses on upper body and grip strength.
@@nicksymmonds Not even sure what Mr. Beast is doing that is putting some people off anyway. Sure he's making a ton of money by giving away a ton of money but that's as close as we're going to get to redistribution of wealth out here in these mean cold streets. Keep doing you Nick, your content is only inspiring people to become more fit, money or not.
Jayce's run was super impressive. From the monkey bar technique that honestly I didn't even consider to the muscle up to rest on top...wow very well done!
@@SUPCLMN Not necessarily. If he bent his lower body properly he could have avoided touching and we do see his legs are positioned to try and avoid the red.
@@SUPCLMN he probably did but he's a kid. that obstacle was particularly tough for him due to his height. I think Nick gave him a chance to show his best skills and amaze us with his grip strength and climbing abilites. He was probably forgiven for his error also because his course was destined to stop at the tyre flip as it was impossible for him to flip it.
I really do love this course. None of your obstacles are anything crazy, yet they vary so much and so together are built for such a well rounded athlete that only a few people can actually complete it.
1:28 That hop was magnificent. 2:48 This kid right here is AMAZING! I can't believe he not only cleared that, but also knew where the money was on the peg hole challenge. 8:48 CRAZY!
@@annonymous6827 I'm saying you referring to someone not being able to defeat the tire as "humiliating". I would've considered getting that far for a young boy a tremendous achievement. Depends on how you look at life though.
I’ve grown so much respect for you after seeing some of your videos and how nice and how much of a good person you really are, glad we got people like you in this world man
I know this is easier said than done, but for the slackline I only saw a couple people with the right approach. You have to keep your feet parallel to the line, not perpendicular. If your feet are perpendicular, you'll likely fall as it's much harder that way. It just take some practice. Also some advice I've learned, "You look down, you fall down", meaning keep your head up and find a point to stare at and it's easier. Hopefully that helps. I don't know how tight the line is though and loose lines can be very tricky. Great video Nick!
The fact that nick put up a course that even American ninja warrior contestant are having trouble with I feel like we might see some finalist try this course to prove that American ninjas can beat any course
Hey nick, loving this series! just wanted to comment and say you and other youtubers have continued to inspire me into working out, and I am currently down 20 pounds since the end of January! (started at 283lbs, now am at 264lbs)
I've made it up a warped wall before but with way more run up. That short run is brutal. Tough course, impressive to see how close this week's competitors were able to get!
@@toprightchannel3080 Watched ninja warrior before and am a runner/skateboarder. I was able to make it up a 14ft concrete bowl a few years prior. Took two attempts once I found a proper one at a climbing gym in Branson, MO. Just punchy runup and helps to be able to wall run/understand how to stick close to the wall. Then reach and the pull up was probably the hardest but no way was I giving up at that point lol I'm 5' 11" 135lbs
My husband says this all the time to me. You can go up and hug everyone, but I as a man can not. And rarely does anyone stop and have a real, meaningful conversation with him too.
This is GREAT content nick. The suspense and style of you doing this keeps me tuning in. God bless to whoever wins this money. Nick we appreciate you man. Fitness is wealth, fitness is life. Thank you nick.
I have a strategy for the last obstacle. The real difficulty is the fact that there's very little room to build up momentum before going up the slope. So, maybe use the two bars before the slope to build up momentum somehow.
Im not by any means fit and i live in the mountains so gym is kinda far and not much do here but do some running laps. So i gave up on trying to get fit. Then i came across ur channel and every i have watched on it is giving me inspiration to keep trying cuz, it really does pay to be fit :) Thank You for making these amazing inspirational videos!
I’ll be honest, I got EXTREMELY excited when I recognized Jase Brooks! I saw him wrestle at the OSAA Portland Coliseum 5 years ago and he beat Jacob Beck, a kid that took 3rd in state the previous year. Jase Brooks is an absolute bad ass!
Nick always talks to them while in the platform. Which make them out of focus. Walking on the wire needs a lot of focus. Just cheer them up and never start conversations.
I'm short and when I was in the Marine Corps when we would do the tire flip I would get it on my thigh then change my hands to get under it then flip it. A bit slower but effective
You put on the armor of God. Accomplishing the impossible And you're protected Evenly when you're falling woe while hopping over the obstacles and through the blood of jesus, There ain't no evil that's stopping you! When you preachin word of the gospel, tho, the devil and his demons are dropping over like dominoes, and ever a single day, I will never give em his way Cause jehovah and the holy ghost be always keeping me on my toes
you definitly gotta try out for american ninja warrior. tyler gillett would have destroyed that warped wall but ninjas never come acroos the balance obstacle like the slack line.
