If it always takes death & tragedy to bring scrubs together how strong are they really? I just found their relationship so predictable. Robin & Patrick have a problem someone dies or a tragedy like Michaels shooting they get back together. They sleep together cause georgie dies. What if George did not die no Emma. Also Patrick was no innocent even leading up to banging lisa. He was leading her on badly. Robin I lost all respect for taking back her cheating husband. She is not a financially poor woman or without freinds & family. Kick him to the curb.
I imagine it's hard to forgive a cheating spouse but if you want to work it out with each other im all for itplus Patrick and Robin truly love each other.
Not everyone stays with their spouse for financial reasons... there’s a lot of people that have infidelity in the relationship and they work through it, and stay married or in a committed relationship...just sayin’
@@rosanneperkins9516 I never said that all spouses stay for financial reasons. I only said robin was financially sound & had support. I felt they had a bad relationship. They fought all the time & something always broke them up. If not for Emma would they have gotten back together ? Robin was too intense for me. Lol. Patrick says he does not want kids so she suddenly is on fire to have one & is hitting up every acquaintance or old friend for their sperm. Even spinelli. It really felt like a game to me. Like Patrick doesn't want kids & now I'm gonna show him up. Then she gets pregnant & tortures him for 11 months ( robin literally had emma about 11 months after she slept with Patrick) it's like no matter how much Patrick begged & pleaded & said he loved her & now that a baby was coming it was a different ball game. Then before the writers decided to give robin ppd we had weeks of her complaining Emma hated her. She also was flipping out that she was bored in the house. Imagine if patrick took her at her word & stayed out of it ? Poor mac would have had a 4th girl to raise bc Patrick was the one who had to directly deal with her & her ppd. So he caught on to it when others may not have. He forced her to go get help. That was the other thing it was like not understandable after awhile that she refused her meds & skipped apts. I had ppd & a couple friends did also. When I had it I immediately wanted so much to get better. I told my drs right away & I sought help took my meds & suffered through tinkering with a couple different ones & doses & went to therapy 2x a week & I got better. It's such a horrible depression u cant shake. My first son I was elated. My second one I immediately felt disconnected from the new baby my first baby my husband my friends I could not even watch tv . I just read tons of books & went through the motions always faking it til I made it. I also did not have a dr husband or family that could take over & watch my baby so I could go off to a hospital like robin did which I desperately wanted to do bc it was agony taking care of my sons & suddenly feeling nothing towards either. I hated myself for being blessed by these kids & the first child that I loved so much to feel disconnected to him was really horrid bc he was 2 & more aware than my infant. I started to also have body dysmorphia where I imagined I had horrible lines all over my body & face & people were swearing to me no lines were there. I even went to a plastic surgeon & thank god he was an honest moral man & told me nothing was there & asked if I had ppd . I told him I did but the lines. He told me nothing was there so I had to believe a doctor bc I thought my family & friends were just being nice. Anyway this was 5 years after this storyline. So at the time watching it I was just sick of robin being miserable & a bitch for 2 years. From her hunt to be a mom to her bitching at Patrick & making her vlogs to her dramatic birth to her almost dying to het whining to her ppd I just started ff & I almost quit gh bc i was watching scrubs bc i was interested in an hiv woman having a baby as i did not know at that time this was possible to not pass it on. Sadly the show rarely dealt with that & just made it about robin crapping on Patrick for 11 months. Also looking back at how viscious robin was towards carly about her ppd I wished she apologized to carly . They had robin remember carly had it bc she went to jason asking him how carly was with symptoms.

Yes, in the beginning Patrick didn’t want kids. He wanted to have his lifestyle being a confirmed bachelor, but when Robin got pregnant that all changed. It wasn’t a planned pregnancy. I think in my opinion the way the writers did it, was that Patrick had never been in love in his lifetime, the only woman he ever loved was his mom. So these are all feelings he had to explore and understand. I think once he realized he was in love with Robin, and that’s what he wanted, he wanted that commitment. When Emma was put in his arms for the first time, he fell in love. I honestly don’t think they fought that much. All couples fight a lot, it’s a soap. And they definitely change Robin’s character when she came back from Paris, because she was much more low-key and fun before she left for Paris. You are dealing with someone that at 17 years old was diagnosed with HIV, and never expected to have the life with a husband, a medical career and a child. I think they challenged each other I think they could be combative but I never felt that they fought all the time.. And if they weren’t considered a super couple, they would never have created Night Shift for them on the soap network... But there was a realism in the relationship between Patrick and Robin, that’s because Jason and Kimberly are so close in real life... There are little moments that you really felt like you were watching the real relationship..jmho And it’s been written enough that every pairing that Robin has became a super couple. Stone and Robin, Jason and Robin, Patrick and Robin.
