As someone who's done some taxidermy, I just want to say how impressed I am with your attention to detail. The doe looks great and I love that natural pose. Wow!

How is that clear nose septum placed in the foam? I'm just starting to learn the amazing work of taxidermy. This is the first video I've watched with that in it. Thank you for the great video!
Really nice job, the face detail makes or breaks a good mount. I use a cable tie around the base of the ear with the tag through it pulled tight, no hole to see in the ear. Love the Megadeth shirt🤟

Hi there, so sorry for the late reply! The clear septum is just placed down in a slot I cut vertically in the nose of the form! Super easy

Very nice!! How much time do you have to work the hide before the glue starts to set?
It depends on how wet the cape is! Generally around 4 hours though, it dries very slowly so you can manipulate it for quite a while
