I needed to see this video, I've been working for ups for almost 19 years but i still have about 6 to 7 years minimum to retire and ive been thinking about learning hl7. My best friend works in that field and he's always telling me about all the opportunities available in that field. Im ready to take a leap of faith and learn everything i can with hl7. Im petrified to be honest, but i feel we only live once ,why not live doing something challenging that i can enjoy? Thanks again for posting this video
I completely agree with you, and I'm glad you enjoyed this video! Yes, every time I have a conversion with this co-worker, he amazes me with his extensive knowledge of HL7.
@@HealthcareITSolutionsI work in HL7 and I’m certified by HL7 International. Thinking about getting an interface cert and possibly diving into FHIR. Tons of jobs but not as many as 2-3yrs ago due to the cutting of grants.
I work in the field as an Analyst, been doing it for about 5yrs now. Most of my experience has been in IIS but also know some SyS. That’s basically VXU/ADT, looking to dive into Interface Engineer work which pays a lot better and might even start my own company. Tons of money there to be made.
Thanks for the comment. I agree that there's tons of money that could be made as an Interface Engineer consultant. Let me know how things turn out with going into the Interface Engineer work.
Thanks for this video.. i recently graduated with an MBA in Healthcare Management and want to get fully into health interfaces and all applications involved (HL7,Ensemble, Catche,Mirth etc) pls can you set up a training class pls i need help.
Congratulations! I currently don't offer a training class at this time. But have you gone through my HL7 Training Tutorials here: ua-cam.com/play/PLhZSypdSyHQ06YbbAxQ6JmR1VFv-srEoT.html
Hi Adedolapo, I'm creating a course on how to build HL7 Interfaces from your own computer. Through these lessons, you will be able to practice, build your own Interfaces, and get hands-on HL7 experience at your own time. Is this something you are interested in?
@@adedolapoadeolaokusami6458 That's fantastic! I'm currently collecting pre-orders. The price for the course is $97. I would love to offer you a pre-order spot. You will be one of the first to get access to it and I will be communicating with you along the way. If you are further interested, please email me at torrell@healthcareitsolutions.net
That's great. I have an HL7 Tutorial For Beginners Series here: ua-cam.com/video/cLO5rhz1CQ8/v-deo.html. It's based on an HL7 book I read, and it's about 5 videos total. If you find those helpful and want to go deeper, I have an HL7 Beginners course here: healthcareitsolutions.thinkific.com/courses/hl7-interface-building. If not, I can recommend a few other HL7 resources to you. Just let me know.
Thanks for sharing bro...just a bit of advice, please try to keep your message on point and concise...in the healthcare industry also for more than 15yrs...I couldn’t help but feel like everything you said could’ve been said in 45s! Please take it with a grain of salt, this comment makes your message no less valuable. 👍🏾
