It's kind of sad that Cheriz has almost fallen from grace I have loved most of their games. Like Dandelion is really good and it being their first real game and now the ssum almost 10 years later really gives a glow down. (Like in story since the Ssum is kind of bating with mystic messenger, and wanting you to do in app purchases.)
Ohhh I’ve never heard of dandelion I’ll have to check it out but after how much fun I had in mystic messenger the Ssum was soooo lacking compared to it :(

I tried playing this game when it first came out and I don't think I even made it to the double digits. I was mostly just confused on what the point of the game even was. All the mini games and the journalling and the planets and everything just muddled the experience. Which I guess makes sense considering the otome experience wasn't all that interesting in the first place 😂
i think it would be nice if they put some mystic messenger characters there, definitely more people would play it since they are very memorable characters. i just started the ssum so i dont really have an opinion yet but i must say i already enjoy harry way more.. hes kinda funny

It's been a year and I honestly think the worst thing they could have done was put MM (Jumin) characters into The Ssum. I really wish they had left them as two separate games and not one universe

I played the ssum for 200 days in a normal way (no time travel or jumping days or skipping and I don't do it faster) and I really enjoy the daily accompany with the character, especially Teo 🥰 and I'm replaying soon because I like how the days went with Teo, it was fun 😄
I really wanted to like this game when it came out but after being 10 days in I was just way to uninterested to continue I’m glad to see I didn’t miss out on much. I think for me only having one character that only talked with you and didn’t really have others to bounce off of is what turned me off from it. Don’t get me wrong mystic messenger did have chats did have only one character sometimes but it wasn’t always even then they were more interesting (tho that could be because the Rfa were just more interesting than Teo). But in any case this video was very well made and really enjoyed it!

There is still one app and a person we haven't gotten (this part is only my hopes honestly) I think they might be about 707 because he said in his route in mm that he was going to make a program to get rich and ssum being space themed is pretty hinting for me. (I am using all of my copium rn) Edit= I couldn't find a screenshot from the mm but I found some old fan art with the clothes of mint eye and they are the same

Idk if you did play through Ray's route but assuming you didn't, here's some spoilers : This cult is actually the cult that Rika actually made for which V has been hiding from us by lying to us that Rika's dead and tried to solve Rika's cult problem by himself, thinking that he's the only one needed so that Rika doesn't involve anymore people (as if he believed to be Jesus himself... (my personal thought)). Saeran aka Unknown is part of this cult and there were hints about it through some bad endings when Saeran talks about bringing us to paradise and through 707's route about Rika having such plans of the cult. In the secret endings, it reveals that Rika is the one who made the cult, becomes the so-called "savior" in the cult, and dragged Saeran somehow in this. Rika is a terrible mental state, for which this was the result of what Rika and V's toxic relationship for which V admitted as an obsession in his route. In Another Story which sets place a year before the other two story modes and includes both V's and Ray's routes (Ray is one of Saeran's persona), and when playing through, on the 2nd day, you'll see in a visual novel mode with V that he's wearing the same outfit as what Teo wears there (btw is called Mint Eye, also called Magenta and the logo is basically the tatoo you see on Saeran's arm). The liquid Two's holding, this is actually a drug concocted called the "elixir of salvation" where the cult members drink it in order to receive the "salvation" and to officially become a member which we'd see Ray trying to make us drink it in V's route in order to make us stay in the "castle" that we often see in the game as we aren't really allowed to go in places freely. Based on what you described about the study of drink, it is still early stages of the cult for which V has also been secretly investigating as a spy (as he had no knowledge that Rika did this after she left and injured V's eyes). Yes, his eyes are still alright at that time and can still see perfectly fine. Edit : maybe this is actually by the time the cult actually shuts down after running a year or two I think... Since it's practically impossible for cult followers to sort of quit?

To be fair, I think we can play both character's routes at the same time, by going to the profile section and click the heart on the top right of the love interest's icon. This option should be available on the 2nd day. I'm having teo as main and doing harry as side, but tbh I prefer teo... at least he doesn't take 5〜10 mins to reply, and ends up not replying so we have to continue the conversation...

i think i got up to day 20 (missing most chats because I couldn't be bothered) and frankly it just was very bland and boring Theo doesn't have much of a personality, and having to wait 2 minutes for his reply because "Theo is breathing" is actually insane? I don't fully want to compare it to MM, since I doubt any game will reach that level, but to me it just seems like Cheritz rushed through making the ssum in hopes it would be the next Mystic Messenger, knowing that many fans would be willing to pay the monthly subscription, but honestly the whole concept and execution of the summ was pretty terrible

Hey, I have a quick little critique within the first two minutes the music volume kind of overpowered your voice, making it a little harder to hear your voice. Still a great video though I really enjoyed it and it helped me decide whether or not I want to play this game. I love how the nose sometimes missing.
