Genshin Impact is not a waifu simulator. The lore runs deep, the animations for characters and cutscenes are stellar, character designs for everybody are unique, and you already know how amazing the music is from the video you watched.

There are people who play to learn about the lore and in-world stories, other people appreciate the standard gameplay, other people are drawn to the exploration aspect, and most of the time it is a combination of many if not all of these traits that make Genshin Impact a good title to play as well as why people like it. Gacha and waifus are surface-level appeal compared to the actual content in the game

Xinyan is the mastermind behind this
Xinyan kidnapped Venti and told him the plan, to which he accepted. Now was time for Zhongli, who was conveniently with Childe. While Xinyan convinced them Venti sped around Mondstadt looking for Fischl and Oz. Next was Amber for Venti, and Ninguang for Xinyan. While on the way, Xinyan encountered Xingqiu and Hu Tao having a rap battle. They immediately agreed. Venti then barged into the Angel’s Tavern and persuaded Diluc. Next, Xinyan made a deal to tell Xiangling where an interesting idea for food is in exchange for helping her. Xiangling accepted.
Afterwards, Zhongli brought them all to Azhdaha and commenced this video.
