Time Remapping in Pinnacle Studio

- Play with the video speed with Time Remapping and easily add slow motion or high speed effects to your videos. Even reverse and replay your scenes. Simply select your clip, go into the Editor, and select Time Remapping to set the speed to create slowmo or high-speed effects.

My timeline scrubber and my timeremapping scrubber don’t sync when I try to keyframe my timeremapping. What should I do?
Is there a short key like in Vegas Pro - ctrl +stretch clip to change tge duration and in effect slow down or speed up the clip? I want a fast way to speed up coding part in my coding tutorials to make video shorter and preserve content. Thanks for the help!
i'm totally with your sentiment! This time stretching process is so f?**ked up that I can't explain. i got so irritated trying few times. Like yourself, I find Vegas Pro's stretching or speeding up process much simpler than this nightmarish crap!
Anytime I do this the video refuses to play, and I have to reload the project. It's like Pinnacle does not want to speed the clip up, rather just prevent the entire project from playing. What's the workaround for this?
I can't get anything to run smoothly after 150% speed can you change that
i've tried many times to use the time stretching but it either doesn't do anything or most of the time it just remains as still. WTF? Why can't you guys make it easier as Vegas Pro or something? The whole process is just too headachy.
Studio 24. This Feature bugs out in every possible way. I've spend a couple of hours in tries of making a speed ramp. Freaked out. Downloaded DaVinchi Resolve and had it done in a minute.
Not surprised, 24 is garbage.
Hi. Im having a wierd audio bug where slowing down a clip messes up the audio track thats underneath my slowed down clip.
I have a song on track 2 (underneath video track) and I have slowed down my videoclip to 80%. Bare in mind that my video clip is muted so the issue isnt there. As soon as the movie gets to the frame where the slowmotion is starting, theres wierd sounds going on. Like disstortion. The latest video I have uploaded showcases my problem.
Did you found the solution? Because I have the same problem :(
@@danieluk2082 I did, actually! Right click on the slowmo clip, press Detach Audio and then delete the audio file that is now separated from the video.
@@KalleUhr That's a nice trick! But, how to slow-mo the audio too?
@@danieluk2082 That's actually something I'd like to know too but can't seem to find that solution anywhere. The audio bugs out (in a static sounding way) any time I try to time-remap a clip. I know you can always detach the audio from the clip, but I would like for the sound to be with the slowed down video.

Why is it when I try to remap the time the clip stops working overall?
I have a problem that I cannot find an answer to. My audio (recorded as an MP3-320) is synced perfectly to a frame at the video start, but after an hour or so is about 2 minutes behind the video. I'd like to shrink the video to be 2 seconds shorter so it matches the good audio. I have Pinnacle 20 but cannot find how to shrink the video. I select the clip but I do not see any "Editor Panel."

Hello - not sure on what you mean. Time Remapping is included in all versions of Pinnacle Studio 22. Which version are you using? If you double click on a video clip on the timeline - it will open the editor - from there - the tabs at the top you should be able to scroll through and see Time Remapping.
@@PinnacleStudioLife- Hi, the option "Time Remapping" would not appear, something was missing. I have received an email to solve the issue from Pinnacle.

- Go to Start

- Choose all files and delete (Some files may not be deleted so just click on Skip).
- Run the program
Option 2: Reset Pinnacle. (Save your project as package first)
In Pinnacle Studio's Control Panel, use the 'Reset' option, close Studio and Reopen.
Or, manually reset via these steps:
Close Studio. Press Windows + R keys together to get Run command box.
In the available field type (or copy and paste) %localappdata% and press Enter key.
Rename the Pinnacle folder to Pinnacle.old and Pinnacle_Studio_22 folder to Pinnacle_Stuadio_22.old
Start Studio 22
NOTE: This will reset all your Library settings to default, including Watchfolders and Project Bins, and any media previously imported will need to be imported again.
By the way, does your Pinnacle Studio already upgraded to Version 22.3? If not please go to Help "?">Check for updates

Absolutely useless. The playhead keeps dissappearing from the time remapping timeline, endless lagging, preview stops and the keyframes are never showing up when you tryu to press thge button to place them. Really regretting paying money for this software
