After the first hearing of this, me and a friend have already printed sheet music and plan on playing it at our state duet competition. This is an amazing work of art and already my favorite marimba duet, and maybe my favorite duet of all time. Great Work
Every single time I view this, I am left utterly awestruck! How is it possible that is video has so little views and subscribers!? Is the twilight zone!? Another criminally underrated UA-camr, and arguably game too. Had to scour the internet for a cover of the soundtrack. TT
This is simply brilliant. I've been rewatching this for months, and finally convinced myself to push and try to learn it -- this arrangement is just at the point where its challenging but not impossible, so thank you so much for including the sheet music!
I want to say thanks, I'm doing this for my year 12 music performance repertoire and I feel honoured to be able to play this for my final year of high school's assessment, just too cool that you put in the work to make this available :)
i don’t know much about hollow knight but i’ve been looking up marimba pieces to play and this!! this sounds like so much fun!! now i just need a friend to do the duet with!
I picked up mallets three weeks ago and am just trying four mallets but it is super difficult rn. Hopefully if I stick with it I can do really cool stuff like this :D
I've been trying to get a website together and all of my arrangements will be finalized and available to directly download there, but I haven't had the time to do it yet. It will be sooner rather than later though!
Unfortunately the music isn't super complete in a way I would feel comfortable giving it out to people just yet, but I may be able to get it done in a few weeks! I'll put a link in the description when I get it ready.
@@Zayanimatron Yes, the lowest note in player 1 is low D#, and player 2 is the low C. The P1 part can probably be done on a low E marimba and just transpose (or just cut that note out) no problem, but the P2 part won't sounds as cool up the octave in the 1:15 section. And at the end those low notes in P2 really fill out the sound and make it nasty and awesome. But you can use your own judgement! Also, the jump around 1:19 (it happens again later) in P2 when it changes to 3/4 is super hard, almost impossible, but it can be done!
Wonderful arrangement und brilliant performance! Dear John, please check your emails in the mail-addressees given on your website and bandcamp.com. I have a question about this pieces and asked you on Tuesday via mails (sent from my business mail address). Hopefully, I could get a reply from you soon. Thank you in advance! Pat
Absolutely stunning arrangement and performance!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it! Holy crap, just checked out your videos and they are awesome!!
I just want to talk to the single man who disliked this. Just a chat.
Haters gonna hate, players gonna play
@@JohnTadlockFrom Shake it off

Marimba has the sweetest sound of all musical instruments! And the performance is great!
I just got more and more impressed as it went on. You guys are making those marimbas sound extremely good.
what a refreshing change from the dozens of nearly-identical metal covers of NKG on youtube
what a change from listening to the knight dying from nigthmare spikes and the nkg ost
the normal grim theme is better tbh

I really love this duet and would like to play this piece! When do you think you’ll release the sheet music?
I've been trying to get a website together and all of my arrangements will be finalized and available to directly download there, but I haven't had the time to do it yet. It will be sooner rather than later though!

You kind of look like the person that plays the blind guy in the cinnamon festival episode of Psych
😂😂😂
I would love to do this piece for my chamber groups if you have a link to the music please let me know!! Really nice job!
Thank you! It will available on my website once I get that done, just haven't had the time yet.
Hello. Can you please tell me where you can get the score of this song? Is it possible to buy it for a music college in the Republic of Belarus?
It's a free PDF download on my website! Link is in the description of the video.
Thanks!Thanks!Thanks!😊✌️
How'd you guys find the music for this? I've been trying to find it, and all I can find is just the piano piece for Hornet.
I arranged it myself! you can download the marimba duo sheet music from my website linked in the description

Hey, I’m interested in playing this piece for my senior concert, when will the sheets for this be released?
Very soon. Once my website goes live in the next week or so there will be download links available!

Is 2 5.0 Octaves required to play this piece at its fullest?

What mallets did you use?
They're the Van Sice series from Vic Firth! Can't remember exactly which number though, probably 124s.
