I would recommend you to get it if you know you will use it a lot because there are some semesters I use it more than others. The one thing for me is that I like my notes to look nice so they do take longer than they would normally but I just retake them after class and use it as studying time since you are going over your notes. Either way in my opinion you just have to find a way to use it for your benefit.
