On this cold, dark and dreary day here, it is only past 11 in the morning, what better way to stay indoor and have a Survival HT video watching marathon...thanks for sharing your videos.

I am left handed/left eye dominant.
I have to reverse some stuff.
Great video. I have made bows/arrows for over 35 years.
I use a curved piece of a broken bottle to round out the contours. Helps keep them even.

I like that you found your own technique. I've never seen a handle like that one.
Oh! And I love the fleshing knife you made for me. I still have it right here. Can't wait to see your next project. You are a good teacher and it's a joy to watch you work. God bless.

isn't it a problem if you use a board like this to make a bow since the fibers can tear out on the front when pulling the bow?

as you look as a natural guy please use the drawn knife ,not electric tools 😁, red oak it seems similar to our rovere or quercus petrae ,but for us in italy is a second choose wood for bows, how is your helm ? in italy we consider it better than oak for bows, so it is even for the ash , mulberry cousin of osage is even better than them , and laburnum is almost on the same line than osage, if you have in your woods some of the sorbus family ,mountain ash ,ciavardello ,try it they are very heavy and dense woods and you can work it ,with natural back , ciao collega😁
