I feel it's only fair to point out that you've only highlighted the good points of the emulator when playing Bloodborne, however it should also be mentioned that it's not yet suitable for a proper playthough - it still crashes (as you indicate in the title), it also randomly freezes, slows down, corrupts the graphics in various ways, the sound still isn't working at all well with the default main build, various particle effects are missing (such as flames and fog), and so on and so forth. Give it a few more months and it may then be more ready. As for its current state though, it's improving very rapidly and the devs are doing a truly amazing job, so major kudos to them.
@@WorldofEmulation We should also fairly represent the exact state that the emulator is - by all means highlight the progress but also very clearly show where problems remain. Give as much screentime to the positives as well as the negatives, that's only fair, balanced and accurate.
I'm doing my first playthrogh and I would say its ready, if you are willing to deal with the issues, the main issues are vertex explosions (which can be worked around by wearing certain armor pieces) and lack of fog and other effects, for those other effects, eh, I can live without them, as for the sound, it is fixable, but Sony took the mod down so the discord considers it piracy, just search for "Bloodborne PC sound fix" and you should find the files you need
I was thinking about actually downloading and testing the current version soon, and I've seen that setting up the game and the emu might need few things to work well so, a full tutorial will be great to
I have followed all steps and have same mods but game is stuck in endless loading screen after character creation . Any hint? Also have installed sys modules and full sound repack
which patches do you use for the emulator and what settings? I run into a problem, that if I go into 60fps patch, then sound works only for the mobs, but no sounds are heard from the hunter... while is I go 30fps, then all sounds are present. Have you run into something like that?
@astroclicks3036 when you crash, or exit the emulator without exiting the main menu. The next time you boot up, it'll say that you haven't saved your game. You have to save it by going back to the main menu and restarting the emulator. I'll have a tutorial that goes into that. I just have the 60fps patch and 720p
@@WorldofEmulation thank you, I will try that. I think it is an important point to raise in your future tutorial, to avoid people falling into this situation. Strange that it only happens when you are in the 60fps patch, but hard restarts don't affect the 30fps standard code. Something to maybe raise with the emulator and the patch in the future, but I am glad there is a walkaround (i will try it out, when I have a chance).
the reason why your sounds aren't working is because either you haven't placed the Bloodborne PC sound files in your folder, even that's not enough. make sure you are not closing the game using Alt+F4. you gotta go to pause menu and exit the game from there before closing the emulator. then next time you launch, the sounds should work.
@@JackAdams0 that was it! I didnt know there was a zip file fix for the sounds, it worked but I was still having issues sometimes, turned out it was the alt+f4 thing. Thanks!
Funny how demon souls on the ps3 emulator runs like a turd with standard settings, change a few things and it's running 60fps at 2k on a 7 year old PC!
@@DrGreenThumbNZL thats because the PS3 is a VERY complicated console hardware wise, it uses a custom CPU/GPU called "Cell" and literally nothing else in the world uses that architecture, completely custom to the PS3 as for the PS4? it uses x86, which is the same exact architecture as almost all PCs in the world, which begs the question, is shadPS4 even an emulator? the answer is no, its not, its actually a compatibility layer, it translates the PS4 games into system calls Windows can understand, but at its core, they are still x86 calls, think of it how you can struggle to understand someone with a strong Australian accent but they are still speaking English, the language of the PS4 is the same as the language of PC, but just slightly different and for Windows to understand a PS4 game, it needs shadPS4 to act as the middle man translating
@@WorldofEmulation not shadPS$, its not really an emulator, since the PS4 is already x86 there isn't a lot of emulation needing to be done, so in the case of shadPS4, you need more RAM and VRAM but not much CPU
