Currently I am doing online arbitrage and selling under big brand name company listing with other sellers competing same buy box. I saw other seller create their own listing but selling brand name product and sometime in bundle pack as well. It comes to mind 3 questions: 1. Is allowed to make your own listing with your own creative picture about the brand product under you store name? 2. Can other seller come into my new listing and share buy box with me? 3. Will my listing show if customer is looking for brand name without doing advertising? Am I allowed to using their brand name as main title keyword?

Great content. love your video a lot! I have this question that lots of ppl who don't live in the US may have: can we do arbitrage selling if we don't live in the US? I see some ppl have asked this in the comment. But I'm a little confused by the responses. In one comment, JS responded that " If you don't live in the US, then the high cost of shipping may outweigh the profits of Retail Arbitrage" while in another one JS said, "They would send it directly to the FBA center for you. You just send them the address and instructions." Selling arbitrage could still be feasible and profitable for people who don't live in the US if we have the online retailers directly send the products to Amazon FBA. Am I right? Please clarify. Thanks in advance!
Regarding our first answer ("If you don't live in the US, then the high cost of shipping may outweigh the profits of Retail Arbitrage") - This one meant that if you were living outside of US and were physically buying the goods in your home country and then shipping to the US, the shipping to the US would eat up your profits. Now, let's move to the second one, ("They would send it directly to the FBA center for you. You just send them the address and instructions.)" - This one meant if you found deals online in the US (walmart.com or target.com as an example) you could buy them online and have them shipped directly to Amazon. I'm not sure this would work as you wouldn't be able to email the retailer you bought the goods from and tell them to label your boxes for Amazon. You could have them shipped to a prep facility and they could label and resend to Amazon for you though. Hope this helps! 😊 ^PW
I’ve had the jungle extension for a while, but only now am I looking to start trying it out by attempting arbitrage first before PL. Does it only work well for the US or does it translate for Canada and UK markets as well? Thanks for the great video.
This was an excellent video, thank you JS team and Greg! I am now considering both online arbitrage and low-cost FBA to get started. Currently, I have the money for something bigger but my risk tolerance holds me back to take a bigger leap than that. This video series has been great in knowing what my first steps can be, even if small. I had been considering large scale FBA for a while but froze due to it seeming too daunting and my low tolerance to risk.
Thanks for this feedback, Bryan! We always value customers who are keen to give us their feedback. I will be sure to pass on what you have told me to our managerial team. -SR 😍
Really this is a great video, I'm a great fan of you and Jungle Scout. I want to start, but I don't have the courage to start because I live in Luxembourg, and from here to automate the whole process is very difficult.
Helpful video, thanks. Question: If one is doing online arbitrage FBA, should the listing/shipping plan be completed first, followed by product purchasing from the retailer? I'm assuming retailers ship directly to Amazon fulfillment centers. I was thrown off a bit because you indicated in the shipping plan section of the video that when entering the address where you are shipping products from that it is "typically going to be your house."
No, you'd need to purchase the product first to be able to create your listing and shipping plan. In order to create your listing and shipping plan, you'll need a UPC which can only be found on the product that has been purchased.
Thanks for the quick response, greatly appreciated. So I would have to ship the purchased product to my home? Can you have it shipped directly to an Amazon fulfillment center, and if so, how would I know which address if I hadn't already worked out the listing shipping plan? Thanks again! John
You won't know Amazon's warehouse address until you create a shipping plan inside Seller Central. And yes, you can ship straight from the supplier to Amazon's warehouse 😄^PW
@@junglescout you said somewhere that you need to purchase first in order to list it on Amazon. So how can i tell them my shipping address of Amazon warehouse if i can't know before listing it?
Hey JS, great vid! For the last part of the video were you talking about FBM? You mentioned the 'ship from address' should be your home address and how you should stick the UPS code yourself?
If you are doing FBM, then yes, the address should be your home address - if you are sending the product yourself. For the UPC code, you can do it yourself or ask your supplier to do it for you 🙂^PW
Great video. Thank you so much. I do have a question.I am currently an authorized amazon prime seller however, when I add products to my inventory I print the label and the system tells me which distribution center to ship it to. How does that label and information get onto the product I buy from the manufacturer and how do I know what shipping information to give to the manufacturer?
You need to create a listing which will then allow you to create a shipping plan - it will give you the address and then you can send this plan to your manufacturer. Hope this helps! - AL
Hello and thank you for the great video! How do I check Product Eligibility on Amazon if the item that I 'm interested to sell is not listed on Amazon? As far as I understood from the video I need ASIN number in order to check eligibility. Is ASIN number available for the products not listed on Amazon? Thank you!
Hey there! Is there a product that is VERY similar that you could search for on Amazon? As an Asin is an Amazon identifier number, only products sold on Amazon products will have it. So definitely try to search Amazon and see if there are products similar to yours as your next step 😉 You should also check out this article which will help! - jnglsct.com/CC-MDCS-S4E7 - RF
How to sell today? Hubspot shares new data that sales managers increase a lot of e-commerce emails, wherein sales decrease a lot, as well. Why are sales managers trying to sell today? They have plans, percentage of revenue. The reality is that people don't care about your plans - they care about the current situation and how it's going on. It's essential to listen to customers before trying to sell them. It's time to reconsider old plans in order to serve people. People have the awesome feeling "guilty" when someone helps them for free. For example, you can share tips on your emails, social media or wherever you speak with your customers. If you provoke this feeling customers will buy when the right time will come. Corona will pass soon. Be patient and consider a new reality to adapt to new challenges. For example, I post a lot on social media to get more followers. I don't sell, just help with my tips of the current situation - what marketers and sales managers need to do. It's up to you how you use it. Let me know in the comments your thoughts.
Very well explained and understood. Excellent. Do we submit the store's register tape or can we just send the items to amazon warehouse without invoice or register payment for order?
hi,so when purchasing from the retail in person for example, beside receipt how can i obtain invoice? and how will i purchase it through the business? thank you
I have 2 questions about this, Do we need the invoice in our name for approval same as Amazon's wholesale? And the address we used in the listing will be from our home or from where we buy? Kindly advise on it. Thank you
Yes, that's correct. You will need the Invoice in your name. The address listed on the Business will be your address, however you will need the address of where you are shipping from as well.
Great information! Enjoyed the wholesale information a lot! Was hoping to start small with the retail arbitrage and have already bought $100+ of items and packed ready to ship with everything labeled. But it seems a lot of people are getting banned for selling products purchased from stores, and not having an invoice or letter of approval from the manufacturer or licensed distributor after the brand flags the seller. Even if amazon does not require an invoice and approves you to list the item. How do I go about handling this as a new seller? Almost every item I scan requires authorization, and most instantly approve me. But I don't want to get banned for this and am not sure if I should send my packages or cancel the shipment.
We have a lot of educational videos when it comes to Private Label, as that is what we focus on mainly! I'd suggest giving this playlist a watch, Matthew! - ua-cam.com/video/nERQ07Bsjew/v-deo.html
@@junglescout Thanks so much! Sorry, one last question. If you do online arbitrage and the supplier ships the item to your house before you send it to amazon, do you need to take it out of the box, get another box and prep it yourself (if prep is needed) or can you just send it straight on to amazon in the box that the original seller sent it to you in and have amazon print the label?
You should be able to send it on to Amazon in the same box Matthew, but I would go over this article or reach out to Amazon Support if you do have any doubts, just to be sure 😜 services.amazon.co.uk/services/fulfilment-by-amazon/winning-with-fba/shipping-inventory-to-amazon.html - RF
Hey, great video! I bought a product that will not let me list it as new, but rather "used-like new". Do you recommend against doing this in the future? Thanks,
We recommend only listing new products as new; sometimes Amazon will ask for a receipt so unless it's brand new, it's either used-like new or used. - AL
@@junglescout Got it, thank you! Very impressed how you answer everyone's questions. I subscribed to your channel, and am looking into the jungle scout product.
Sometimes i heard that some brand’s advocates request amazon arbitraj seller account information due to unauthorized sales and sue for them. Does retail arbitraj has risks about laws? What is your advice for avoid law risk and own llc company health?
This is something that can happen. It is important to reach out to brands and ask permission before hand - this way you have it documented that you are an authorized seller
Very good lesson thank you so muchh for sharing this much of information i have just one query , if supplier directly ships to amazon FBA who is gonna attach all the tags that is generated in our seller central account or i think i am confused a bit
Amazing video! Question: the product will start to sell only when the goods arrives on Amazon warehouse? How does it works? When the goods will be available to purchase?
Once you have created your listing, set it to inactive on the inventory page. Then send you items to FBA and wait for the items to be received. You can turn you listing to active anytime you wish. 🙂- LJ
Thanks for sharing excellent ideas, Just one importan question surfaces here. Is Amazon allowing Retail/ online arbitrage. Buying from one retailer and selling on another retail platform like Amazon, is this not a policy violation ?
Hi this is really a great video. I have a question though, as in arbitrage i will be selling a branded product so will amazon ask me for the approval letter or invoice from the brand or retailer? i mean to ask if i chose a product from walmart and decide to buy from walmart when i get order from amazon then in that case will amazon ask for invoice to list the product. Thanks a lot for your reply
Hi, great video :) I have one very basic but important question that why would amazon give a brand new seller share in the buy box when there are other sellers selling well, and their accounts are healthy stock levels are good? Can i new seller really get the sales easily? Thanks
is there anyone extra information i can read up on or even a video where i can learn more about the process of sending the product to amazon… great video btw - uk
Thank you for all of the lessons! I have a question- when you buy something- and send it into Amazon- do you have them ship it directly to Amazon? Or do you ship it to your place first and then send it in? In other words- won't venders that you are purchasing from have an issue sending the products directly into Amazon? I would really like to try this method- but how would I do it- as in-where would I send the merchandise initially if I am living abroad? TIA!
hello, your videos are super useful. I have a question, so once you buy product from another website and you did all of your research, how are you able to send that product right to amazon fulfillment center without having to handle it? what is required to get that figured out?
For Amazon FBA, you will send your products to the Amazon Fulfillment Center. The Fulfillment Center assigned to you will be determined once you create a shipping plan. www.junglescout.com/blog/fba-shipping-checklist/
Thank you so much ❤️ for both of the awesome videos in this month. I watched both of the videos. But my simple question is what's the big difference between Wholesale and Arbitrage business models because I got a bit confused at the end. Your response will be highly appreciated.
With wholesale you buy directly from a company. Lets say you pick Heinz and you buy 1000 bottles of ketchup. Then you sell them on Amazon. With wholesale you usually have high volume of sales but small margins. For that reason you need a larger capital to start. With Online or Retail Arbitrage you can start with 5$, buy a product in target that is on sale and sell it for a higher on Amazon. The classic buy low, sell high. With this model you have lower volume of items but higher margins. But you have to keep finding new products because deals expire. With wholesale you can just place a new order when you sold out. But you need relationships with companies.
Hi and thank you for the video. I have a question. I will be trying online arbitrage for the 1st time and I have both the Amazon seller account and JS and the question that I have is about the shipping ,when you buy your discounted products online and it asks for a shipping address does it have to ship to my home address or can Amazon give an address to their fulfilment center to ship directly? Or how can I have my online purchases sent directly to amazon once I purchase them online?
Once you complete your shipping plan- Amazon will provide you with an address to one of their warehouses and from there you would give that address or addresses to your supplier. Keep in mind that before you create your shipping plan you need to know the dimensions and weight of your product, the box, and the package they will be shipped in. You also will need to know your supplier's address!
If a product is already being sold on Walmart, bestbuy, or any other marketplace, it means that the seller already registered it with the UPC code, so you won't be able to apply a new code for this product. 😕 ^PW
Jungle Scout pls can you elaborate on this; does one have to search for the UPC code for the product since it has one already and where can one get it.?
Greg thank you so much for the video! Question for you...Let’s say I go to clearance while shopping online at a big box store and find several products I can make a profit on...Am I able to have the store ship the products directly to Amazon if I am selling FBA? Or will I have to have those products sent to my house, then ship them myself to Amazon?
If you want to sell products using FBA, those products would have to be shipped to the warehouse first. Unless you would like to care of the shipping yourself 😉 ^PW
@@junglescout how do I know which warehouse to ship them to and also how do they products get labeled and bar coded for my account once they get to the Amazon Warehouse.
Your shipping plan will give you the warehouse address. Barcodes need to be placed before you send it to the warehouse so you can either ask your manufacturer to do that for you or have the items shipped to you, add the barcodes, and then send it to the warehouse listed in your shipping plan. 😊 -AL
@@junglescout will amazon put the labels on for a fee if I send them to the manufacturer and have them included in the box? Thank you so much for your reply 😊
I don't think they'll be able to provide that service, Lori. Barcodes need to be placed before you send it to the warehouse so you can either ask your manufacturer to do that for you or have the items shipped to you, so you can add these 😃 - LJ
Hi, I have another question. I have selected a product when i tried to add myself on the existing product listing it asked me to "apply to sell". When i did that they are asking for the invoice of purchase from manufacturer or distributor. So will amazon accept if i give them invoice of Walmart. Thanks a lot for reply
Hi! I have a few questions: 1. Can I only sell products that already exist on Amazon? 2. Greg said that you can create an individual acc on Amazon Seller Central for free, but from what I see we have to pay $39.99/month. Would you please clarify?
Hey Brunna! You can sell products that do not already exist, just understand it will be harder to validate demand and competition for a product which does not exist! An Individual plan is free, but a Professional plan is $39.99 per month. You can read this article here for more information on those plans - www.junglescout.com/blog/individual-vs-professional-seller-plans/ - RF
Thank you for this very informative video. How does this work if I live in Canada and I want to sell in US? If I have the goods shipped to my house and then shipped to US Amazon warehouse, will the shipping cost to do that deter me from making any profits? What do you recommend?
We would recommend shipping straight to Amazon! However, if you prefer FBM model, then you need to calculate the costs and set a price that will bring you profit! ^PW
@@junglescout Thank you for your reply. That is what I'd like to do is FBA ship to Amazon. In the video when creating the listing, the 'create new shipping plan' is the house. If doing the FBA method, what do I enter as the shipping address?
Of course! 🤩 An individual account is free to create, but you need to pay a commission of $0.99 for every sale that you make on Amazon. This is in addition to a 15% consolidated fee on those sales. If you’re an individual seller, you can only sell 40 products. - LJ
Found some listings in my first day with great profit. How do I overcome the initial barrier of not having any reviews? I'm currently the lowest listed price, but unfortunately I think people have been choosing to purchase the higher priced listings with more reviews.
Thank you for the video! I've read and watched a lot about OA and drop shipping and I'm confused about the following things: 1. Is it legal to sell the product without having an official invoice from retailer? I've read that receipt is not enough. 2. Amazon says I must identify myself as a seller on the packaging and info and delete all the retailer's info. Means I must repack the products first, right? 3. If all above is true it means I need to find retailer who provides me with the invoice, I need to repack the goods or ask the retailer to do it, correct? Please correct me if I'm wrong but I see many grey areas here. Thank you in advance!
Hey there, great questions! 1 - Items may need an invoice if you sell the item as "new" condition on Amazon 2 - Yes, that's most likely what you will have to do especially since you will be selling the product and marketing it as you being the seller, not the retailer 3 - It would be best to have the items ship directly to you so can inspect the items for damage/discrepancies. You shouldn't expect the retailers to do it for you. Hope this helps! -AL
Hi, in the videos you say that joungle scout has a database of amazon products, if you are not using the google chrome extension, how often is the information updated? If I register my product today would it apear in your database at the same time?
Amazon asks for the supplier invoice, which means a receipt won't be acceptable? Can't find any info on this, is Retail Arbitrage not allowed on amazon??
You may sell via the Retail Arbitrage method on Amazon. Are you creating a new listing or adding it to an existing listing on Amazon? We do have a great guide here: www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-retail-arbitrage/
Hi i've a question what if amazon ask us for " a manufacturer invoice or selling authorization " what should we do ? will amazon accept seller invoice . thank you .
Good morning Sir, thank you and very informative and I learned a lot. May I ask if you open account and sell in Amazon do I need business license. God bles and stay safe and your Family.
If I am wholesaling on Amazon FBA (e.g. selling a brand name product such as packs of braun electric toothbrush heads) do I need to purchase a new UPC code and affix the barcode label to each product pack (i.e. each pack of toothbrush heads) or do I just need to affix a barcode label with the Amazon FNSKU code to each pack as well as the carton in which I send them to Amazon?
For the example in the shipping section, were you shipping it directly from the warehouse where it is so that you don't have to handle it yourself? Also, where you said you could just buy the item from the retailer's website once the customer buys it from amazon, is that for any product? And is that also not drop shipping? One final thing, where do you find the location of the warehouse where the product you want amazon to take it from?
Great question! We have a great article that explains the differences of these business models here: www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-business-models/ 😃 - FO
@@junglescout I put up my amazon product, it's on my inventory and i set the price to lower than what it is on the amazon shop (215.99 being the original, mine being 200) and i don't see mine on there in the shop in the buy box or anywhere. Do i have to send/replenish inventory? It's an FBM product as i plan to ship it directly to the customer.

I'm not sure this would work as you wouldn't be able to email the retailer you bought the goods from and tell them to label your boxes for Amazon. You could have them shipped to a prep facility and they could label and resend to Amazon for you though. Hope this helps! 😊 ^PW

-SR 😍

So glad that you're loving the content 😃 - LJ

So definitely try to search Amazon and see if there are products similar to yours as your next step 😉

How're you liking Jungle Scout so far? - LJ
Some great advice there! Thank you for sharing! 🔥
Very well explained and understood. Excellent. Do we submit the store's register tape or can we just send the items to amazon warehouse without invoice or register payment for order?
Once you ship your products to Amazon, they will ask you to provide an invoice for the products you purchased 😊^PW
hi,so when purchasing from the retail in person for example, beside receipt how can i obtain invoice? and how will i purchase it through the business? thank you
You can contact the brand directly to ensure they're happy for you to sell their product and obtain an invoice

I have 2 questions about this,
Do we need the invoice in our name for approval same as Amazon's wholesale?
You can always contact Seller Support and they'll be able to help you with that. 😉 -RS

You should be able to send it on to Amazon in the same box Matthew, but I would go over this article or reach out to Amazon Support if you do have any doubts, just to be sure 😜

Thanks for the video. I have one question: how can I get the UPC code for the product I get from online (Walmart, bestbuy, etc.)

😊 -AL

An individual account is free to create, but you need to pay a commission of $0.99 for every sale that you make on Amazon. This is in addition to a 15% consolidated fee on those sales. If you’re an individual seller, you can only sell 40 products. - LJ

Thank you for the video! I've read and watched a lot about OA and drop shipping and I'm confused about the following things:
1 - Items may need an invoice if you sell the item as "new" condition on Amazon
2 - Yes, that's most likely what you will have to do especially since you will be selling the product and marketing it as you being the seller, not the retailer
3 - It would be best to have the items ship directly to you so can inspect the items for damage/discrepancies. You shouldn't expect the retailers to do it for you.
Hope this helps! -AL
