This was an promotional song for MJ’s Dangerous World Tour,he actually wrote this song between 1987-1992 and there is a BAD album demo version of this exact song as well, to me this could’ve definitely been on the Dangerous album it’s crazy MJ unreleased material is better than 99% of artists released material lol MJ is a whole other beast he truly was on a stratosphere of his own also THOSE VOCALS SHEESH!!!! MJ Is The Greatest Singer/Vocalist Of All Time! And tbh Dangerous could’ve been a double disc CD it was actually suppose to be that originally if you didn’t know the story MJ original title for Dangerous was called “Decade” and it was gonna have all his greatest hits on the 1st disc but on the second it was gonna have a few cover songs with a bunch of new material/songs even sum recognizable ones like Who Is It,Remember The Time etc. (Please React to Michael Jackson "On The Line" it’s a 1994 unreleased track from MJ’s HIStory album)🙌🏽👑💞💫
No it isn't, On The Line was written and produced by Babyface and it was released as the first track to a a single promoting the movie Get on the Bus by Spike Lee, released the same year. it was featured on a Get on the Bus promo CD. The full version was released in 2004 as part as the "Ultimate Collection" boxset.
@@Katherineroser213it’s certainly still unreleased it’s not on streaming services and MJ didn’t release it sure it’s on a soundtrack just like this song was only primarily released for a promotional release for MJ’s Dangerous World Tour so yes it is true!
This and Blood On The Dance Floor were actually very close to being included on Dangerous but were replaced with Give In To Me and Keep The Faith. Gone Too Soon also replaced For All Time
This is so Michael, you can tell, the lyrics of this song are so real and heartbreakig 😢 all he ever wanted was real love from real people who would be there for him and didn't want stuff from him or used him.. he gave everything to everyone but no one gave him nothing back.. he often said he felt like the loneliest person in the world.. 💔
Thank you so much ❤ gosh this is so beautiful and yet incredibly heartbreaking... I think Michael had a void inside of him that only got bigger over time with his immense fame, and I don't think no one could fill.. I do think it stemmed from his childhood and his father, he was always that hurt little boy wanting to be loved 😥💔
Haven’t heard this one in awhile. For him to experience this level of need is heartbreaking. I agree, his backing vocals are out of this world. Just heavenly.
This to me is one of his saddest, deepest songs, once again he's talking about being lonely.. you can hear the desperation in his voice, I don't think he's talking to a specific woman here, he is quite literally pleading for SOMEONE, ANYONE, to love him back! 😢 this song reflects what he also said in private recordings about just wanting to be loved by people, and wanting a real connection and relationship with a woman, the bridge reflects what he wants in one, to dance until the light of day, to pray.. very sweet and spiritual. He searched for it hiw whole life! I believe Lisa was the closest he got to real love, but again, sadly, it was short lived. This can be something again that most likely originated in his childhood, with the lack of love from his father, and I remember reading a quote he said, something like "if you don't feel loved as a child, you will try to feel it through other people, other things, something to fill you up, but no matter how much fame and money you achieve, you still feel empty.." 💔
I love his high vocals on this 😍 so emotional, he just wants love and emotional support from someone 😢❤ you should listen to the demo version, he recorded it during or after the Bad Era (I believe it was in 1988 or 89?), it sounds very different besides the chorus that's the same, but the verses sound like the lyrics weren't quite completed, and he's improvising, but his voice sounds soo beautiful (as always hahah) and I loove the whole vibe ❤❤
This song is so beautiful. You should definitely react to "Michael Jackson Recording Childhood at the Hit Factory Studio", I think you'd enjoy it. It's the recording of childhood, you'll get to experience the king at work, and you get to see rare moments of him and him being himself, and how insane his vocals are just alone is crazy, you should really check it out! Great video!!
Thanks for this upload Seph, I have never heard this song before in my life ! 😮 And what a beautiful song it is .... You didn't fancy ranking it in the list ?
Michael sings with such heartbreaking longingness for a reciprocal love. Polarized interest is the death of a relationship. His multi-tracked harmonies in the chorus when he sings "hand out" and "your hand" are so gorgeous. (4:40) What a lovely, emotive, and unique trumpet solo. (4:55) It looks like you kicked the mic stand here and hurt your toe. I assumed that the mic was mounted on a table-top mic stand placed on a desk or table in front of you, but it seems your setup might be a bit different than I'd imagined. Is your laptop sitting on a stand as well?
U should also watch some songs that where added on the dangerous tour Becuase in the Bucharest one there’s no “bad” Becuase mj took it out of the show. There was also no “dangerous” either. Soooo you can watch him perform dangerous on a dangerous tour 1993 in Argentina video. And u can also watch him perform “bad” on a dangerous tour 1992 in Oslo video.
At the moment I'm taking requests of some of his unreleased songs that I've missed. This is to fill the time while I wait for Alex to send me the list 📃
@Seph Plays Follow this one up by listening to the HQ demo of Someone Put Your Hand Out song, which is arguable even better than the finished product and much different. It would be awesome fo you to put them head to head: ua-cam.com/video/Hg43UoU9RRg/v-deo.html I love both of them
