Kenpachi's Bankai Theme - Bleach TYBW Part 3 OST (Fanmade)

- Hello everyone. Here's a theme I started back in July. This was actually supposed to be for the Kenpachi vs Gremmy fight, but I didn't finish it in time. Luckily, Kenpachi has no shortage of epic moments in Bleach, so I decided to finish it up with this scene in mind. I also finished reading the Thousand Year Blood War arc and the special one shot for Bleach, so expect more fan themes in the future. Anyways, this piece took me a few weeks to put together and I'm pretty proud of it. I think this is some of my best compositional and production work to date. I'm finally starting to figure these things out, and I was able to get this decently loud as a result. It's even louder in the Spotify mix once that comes out, so keep a lookout for that. Thanks a bunch to @pharozen for helping me figure out how to do music production better.

Anyways, this a piece that I've been working on for a bit and I consider it some of my best work. What do you guys think? I'll also be working on a theme for Ywhach soon, so stay tuned for that!
Now this just sounds epic! I generally love compositions with choirs in them, I think they really can add to the atmosphere in many ways.
Thank you! Yeah, I really like choirs as well, and for a while I struggled to get them to sound loud against the rest of the instruments. So I'm pretty pleased with how the choirs came out in this piece and I will be incorporating them more often now.

This is cool work, I just personally think this fits more for a Ywhach moment rather than Kenpachi. The choirs have been in majority on the Wandenreich's side in TYBW, and rather than being kind of evangelical, I'd see Kenpachi have more of a growling kind or just pure heavy metal with no voice at all in his bankai form.

Thank you for your input. I do agree with this fitting more with maybe a different character and if you've listened to some of my other uploads, I would normally have done a different kind of theme with this character if it were a different anime.
However, I didn't set out to make a theme that I personally find fitting for Kenpachi; I set out to make a theme that I think sounds like something that would play at this part in the anime, if that makes sense. A lot of Shiro Sagisu's iconic works that play during big moments in later fights tend to have strings and choirs, no matter who is fighting. Even when Ichigo transformed into a Hollow vs. Ulqiorra, What Can You See in Their eyes started playing despite it not really sounding demonic like Ichigo's form at the time would suggest. Perhaps this is changing with TYBW, as we've heard some different versions of these themes coming out, but in the original, it was a lot of themes like this with Treachery, Cometh the Hour, Invasion, What Can You See in Their Eyes, etc.
Sorry for the paragraph and I hope you don't mind me explaining my reasoning. To put it simply: I was just trying to emulate Shiro Sagisu's work that I think would play in a scene like this, more or less. Whether I succeeded on that goal is obviously up for debate, but that was what I was striving for at least.
